Great food and service! Upon entering the restaurant it was very busy. They don't have much of a waiting area and the host was really rude. My party of 2 adults and 3 small children waited an hour to be sat for lunch. That left me very irritable. After we were sat everything else was amazing! I will definitely patronize this restaurant again, as long as I have time to spare. More...

Good soul food buffet style. Interior is a simple dated setting which i love, because it says alot about the quality of the food coning out their kitchen. Average wait 15-20 min. They do not use heavy salt & butter which many restaurants do to make up for taste. Restaurant has a high turnover rate so food is always hot and fresh. Jackson's Southern Kitchen will not disappoint . Great for a tasty inexpensive meal and fun time for the family. More...

Old fashioned southern cooking, just like grandma used to do it!! The food is incredibly delicious and our server was fantastic! If you stop in, ask for Vanessa..... She was warm, polite and very attentive. I've only been twice, but both visits were great!! More...

I've been to a lot of country cooking buffets and this is probably one of the best I have ever been to. It's not the biggest buffet but what they have on it was high quality food. The desserts were also great and they had really good pulled pork. Also the price for what you get is great. More...

Place looks a little ghetto, do not let that turn you away. The food there is absolutely amazing, for the price there's nowhere you can possibly Beat It. Two adults was $30.30 with two sweet teas to drink. Their ribs are very tender and their chicken is very good it's not too salty. I would highly recommend this place. It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is awesome, make sure you sit in the far back left where the air conditioning is. More...

I had lots of fun here. It's family oriented and definitely has southern hospitality. Especially the food, if you're feeling a home cook meal this is the place to go! The best part about it is that it's also a buffet so there isn't an end! To the picnic table cloths to the mason jars for cups and the open space, I believe it deserves 5 stars. More...

I brought my family here so they can get a taste of the food I grew up on (I now live in NH, with hubby and 3 kids). We arrived at 12:30- busy lunch rush, waited a few short minutes and we were seated. The food was hot, tasted great and had a wide variety from meats, sides and desserts. Best part is.....I could find things to eat and I am gluten free. The kids and hubby loved the variety. Now they want to move to SC so they can eat like this all the time. More...

GREAT GREAT GREAT Southern cooking like Sunday potluck dinner after Church services.
Peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, banana pudding. ..pork chop, fried chicken, meatloaf, mash potatoes, sweet potato, potato salad, GREAT veggies like okra/tomato, green beans, greens & corn & cornbread, homemade skins (?) & hash etc... Sunday dinner days may be gone in most places but you can still get a taste of Good old-fashioned, home cooked, Comfort/Soul food at Jackson's!
Park in the back, get a table, grab a plate and DON'T give up your spot in the buffet line!
They Give discounts to Seniors and Military, have kids meals, and take out options priced by the pound.
They're worth Every bite! Highly recommended

Soul food experience is to die for absolutely wonderful. I'm not a buffet type person but this food is amazing and the bar is CLEAN. food is replenished as fast as it gets low. The fried chicken collards BBQ and sweet potato pie was my favorite but everything was delicious. They have a menu that changes from day to day with staple daily items.. Staff is friendly. Smaller place so the reason for 4 stars not 5 would have to be attributed to parking.. One person restroom.. And the wait for seating. But still it's worth the wait for taste and quality of food. Great find I suggest all the way More...

I give Jackson’s five stars because they have great Southern food! The service was great as well. It is a buffet this is something I do not like. I never get my money’s worth at these kind of places.
The selection of food was fantastic. I feel like that if you can’t find anything you want then you have a problem! Many different kinds of vegetables, meats(fried, baked, smoked). We were there on prime rib night and it was all you could eat!
The dessert was lacking. I was disappointed in what they had but this the Only thing I found that really could be improved on.
