Your food was absolutely FABULOUS! Jonathan and Daniel were great! ! Very helpful and courteous - everyone kept telling me how great they were and how much they loved the food. Unfortunately, there were quite a few "no shows" that didn't let me know they changed their mind (which I'm not too happy about) so there was a lot of food left over. However, a lot of people were more than happy to take food home (including me)  I don't think I cooked all weekend - Bonus for me!

I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know. I am also being told, by several people, that they want to make this an annual place and make sure I have you all cater it again. That's saying a lot for this group!  More...

June 17,2017 I married my best friend and it’s party time made sure we had the perfect meal for our wedding. Everyone loved the pulled pork and all the sides. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. They not only had amazing food but amazing personality’s and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a catered event. It’s party time also catered my sisters baby shower about 5 years ago and was amazing then as well. I have worked with Viki on several events and recommend Party Time to friends when asked.Staff is great, they seem to have a personal feel.  They smile, have conversations and ask to help which makes me confident that they will take care of my guests.  Food is great, and always in good quantities.  Nothing is worse than running short and over several events now every time there is more than enough.  One time there was a last minute addition of some horderves that were not on the initial order.  They were able to run and on the spot make something up.  NO dirty looks, no jumping down anyone's throat passing blame a real team effort to make the event 100% successful.The food options are typical for catering companies, you pick a couple meats, add your starch there are a few specialty's they do many times and i suggest calling sooner than later in the planing because there are many times you can supplement things to have a simple but effective menu and keep within budget.  One thing i think that is never covered with catering companies is track record.  I have never gotten a complaint at an event over the food's quality, in fact most times i get people asking for leftovers or recipies.Overall this is a company that will partner with you to have a successful event and in the end that is why the events we have used them for are successful is because everyone goes above and beyond.  I have been in this industry since 2000 and work with dozens of caterers this is my favorite. Viki and Tami did an absolutely stunning job! I mean these ladies had everyone talking about how delicious the food was. Even the Governor herself. When there wasn't much to do, they kept themselves busy making sure everyone had drinks and was being very attentive to our guests (something the bartenders should've been doing). We are truly impressed -if not amazed, and for them to cater with just two? Speechless. I could not thank you guys enough for taking us last minute and providing such great services. We heard about It's Party Time Catering because our venue had them on their preferred vendors list along with a few others. We met with a few other companies on the list and decided that It's Party Time Catering was the best overall that fit our needs. Viki was very helpful throughout the entire planning process. On my actual wedding day there was one dissappointment. They did make sure that my husband and I got food and they sent us home with extras which was nice. They did leave at their scheduled time, however they didn't check in with me or my husband to make sure that we didn't need anything else from them, like a slice of wedding cake. Neither of us got any because we were busy and when we finally wanted some they had left and there were no plates for us to have cake on. I didn't enjoy eating my wedding cake off of a paper napkin. Viki and her staff are great, i have been to several events where they served food and even a great S'mores Bar (awesome Idea) Something that is very hard to measure in an event vendor is their wiliness to go above and beyond and do everything and anything to make sure the event is a success.  I Hired them to cater a corporate event we were hosting and of course someone in management had a birthday and they come to me all in a rush that they do something to make them feel warm and fuzzy (i was not happy about the last minuet emergency)  It was about 1pm and Viki was able to some how get from Downtown portland, through rush hour traffic to a Thriftway, convince their bakery which was already closed to let her use their bakery to bake a cake and got it back to us before 5pm so the manager could feel all happy, made me look like a hero and this was probably better than any wedding cake you have ever seen.The value that It's Party Time brings to an event is difficult to measure but will be my first and only call in the future. We have used It's Party Time Catering, Inc. for several Christmas parties over the years.  When my Partner and I were finally able to get married after 17 years together, Viki Dyrdahl at It's Party Time Catering was the first person I called.  We decided on having an outdoor wedding on our own backyard terrace. Viki met with me at my home and she shared her years of catering experience with me.  We developed custom menu for our meal.  She also help establish a timeline of events for the day with me.  This was very valuable to me as I planned the timeline with my other wedding providers.The wedding went on with out a hitch.  The staff was wonderful.  Our guests come from all walks of life, and did not phase them in the least.  The guest's raved about the food, and how polite the staff was.  I have already contracted It's Party Time Catering for this year's Christmas party. Absolutely recommend Viki and her team. From the first meeting, through a sequence of emails as our event drew closer, to the day-of, Viki put me at ease that everything was handled, and that anything that might pose a challenge could be handled. The food we ordered for our wedding was delicious, and all leftovers were packaged for us to take home. We went with a two-berry shortcake for dessert that had some of our guests saying was the best shortcake they'd ever had. Service was efficient and polite. We had bartending service through It's Party Time, too, and the bar was set up very attractively (though they ran out of straws halfway through the night). The only issue that came up, ironically, was coffee service. We've been to too many weddings where coffee was not available prior to dessert being served, and we made sure to mention how important this was. We were told coffee would be self-serve the entire night. However, we came to find out coffee was not available at dessert. Unfortunately, our venue had a lot of outlets that weren't operating correctly. This is no fault of IPT, for sure, and I was told that no less than four outlets were tried. To be sure, this is primarily a venue issue, but in the end, an outlet *was* found once we brought it up, so I just wish this had somehow been solved earlier, before it came to our attention. All in all though, it was great working with Viki - I'm pretty certain she can make just about *anything* work for your event, and It's Party Time comes with my full recommendation. More...

It's Party Time has helped with my work events and even my wedding.  They were great, helped organize everything ( I mean everything). The food was amazing (and there was a ton of it so people could have seconds- which they did), and the staff was very professiona and attentive, the bartenders kept the lines short and moving. The displays of food were beautiful and tied in really nicely with the event.Her staff set aside food for the groom and I, as well as the people we had helping at our wedding. It was so nice to be taken care of in every way. My guests all told me the food was SO GOOD, which is nice to hear. I hired Viki and her staff after seeing multiple positive reviews on Yelp and a local wedding community site I was using during the planning process. After our initial contact she invited me to meet at the Macys Sip and Scan she was catering and I was able to view her tables and chat with her about what I was looking for. She was super attentive and sweet, got back to all of my emails and phone calls and made sure everything I asked for was delivered. I did a TON OF RESEARCH and the price per head was extremely reasonable, (even after the delivery and set up %) especially given the amount of food there was leftover and the quality of the ingredients used.I am so sad I never got a chance to see the catering table set up except from behind for twenty seconds before I was whisked away for the grand entrance! Our guests seemed very happy with the food and said it all looked so nice and elegant. Thank goodness for the photographer!We did a whole roasted pig and I was told it was super yummy and having it sliced as people went through the line was super impressive to our friends and family. A couple guests did say there was a little pink meat they were worried about but as the owner Viki stated below, this is normal with a Traegar smoked pig. Not much we could do about that. My husband said he got to see he pig before it was carved up and the caterer pointed out they "burned" in our names and wedding date into the skin which we thought was a very sweet and totally unexpected touch. My dad and my Samoan family was very happy that the staff were nice enough to package up the skin for them to take home with them as well.Although I was only able to eat 2-3 bites of the plates their awesome staff made sure to get to us after the ceremony (and couldn't tell you how they tasted or even what I tasted as I was so distracted with all of the guests hahaha) quite a few people have told us that it was so nice to have decent food at a wedding for once . I was SUPER happy that the vegi's were fresh and not frozen (I CAN tell the difference and it's huge!), they were still delicious reheated the next day. The staff packed up a TON of leftovers and we have been munching on them since Saturday, a really nice treat to not have to cook for a few days afterwards! The leftover pork is FA-MAZING!Her staff checked with us throughout the night if we needed anything and made sure the guests were full and happy, all delivered with a smile. We hired Viki and her wonderful crew for our reception in May. We interviewed Viki and several other caterers. She actually came out to our work during our lunch hour for us to sample her dishes and to talk about what she and her company has to offer. Her BBQ was the best we tried; very simple but delicious and had very much a home-style feel to it. We discussed the details for the day and she offered her recommendations and pricing which was very competitive. We certainly didn't know what to expect on the day of, but we were so pleased that we chose Viki and her crew. They were polite staff members who were always on attention to help out. Ryan their bartender was great and helpful at the end when we were trying to clean up. The food was delicious and all of our guests to this day, talk about the BBQ. One last final point about It's Party Time Catering; you'll have peace of mind knowing that Viki and her team will be handling all the details. Viki and her staff were very accommodating and helpful. As an example just prior to the wedding we noticed that one of the champagne toasting flutes was broken in shipment. One of the catering staff left and returned with two matching flutes in time for the toast, now that is above and beyond.
