Would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone that can capture memories in a photograph. They are professional and friendly, very easy to work with and are very polite. They recently handled photography for a wedding I was in and they captured the love in the air with their artistic skill set and as mentioned previously were excellent to work with. Being in many weddings myself photography is the one thing everyone anticipates seeing to remember moments of that special day and choosing the right person with the right eye and vision you desire is sometimes a catch 22.... however as the pictures trickle in from my best friends wedding I smile and tear up because they definitely showcased their skill and did a fabulous job. My shoot with Monroe Photography was one of the most enjoyable I’ve had, and as a model of 8 years or so, that’s saying a lot. Not only are they technically proficient, but they are lovely people as well. They elegantly balance professionalism and fun, exuding warmth without trying too hard. We just got our wedding pictures back, and we could not be happier! Monroe Photography was the BEST part of our wedding day! They were professional, laid back, fun, and REALLY GOOD AT TAKING PICTURES. We got married in a tiny little church on a budget, but no one would know it, because our pictures look like they are straight out of a magazine. My husband does not like having his picture taken (I think it is actually one of his least favorite things), and even he had a blast! Going into this summer my mom asked me about where and when I was going to get my senior pictures done? I was like oh yeah that’s something I have to do so after talking to some of my friends, one of them recommended Monroe Photography. I looked into it and was amazed by their work! Your photographs capture such a wonderful wide range of qualities. The black and white photographs have rich contrast and depth and the the color images have beautiful hues and tones unique and original to each and every one of them. You take a special moment in life and make it last a lifetime with your art. My photography professor in college in art school, told me that photography is the purest art form. You can control the most aspects of it. He built all of his own sets. He made everything he took pictures of. He mixed all of his own developing liquids. He had a hand in everything. I absolutely love the Monroes! They make what might otherwise be tedious photo shoots so much fun and so relaxing! I am good friends with a makeup and hair artist they work with pretty often, so I have gotten to do multiple shoots with them. I am normally a very shy and self conscious person, but the Monroes excel at making you feel beautiful in the your own skin. I always come away from their shoots feeling so confident and happy with myself! And it’s not just because their photography and editing techniques are amazing. Ever since high school I loved being in front of the camera, doing different gigs for different people as a hobby for years, I was always happy doing it! Until I met the Monroe’s, they have given me such an confidence booster, their skills and passion for getting the most of of the picture they are taking. They go above and beyond to add their creativity and passion to every shot! You should see some of the things they have done to get a perfect picture! They are so fun and outgoing to work with, I continue to use them for friends, family, personal and birthday photos! I can’t express to you enough the encouragement I would tell you to use them, you will never be disappointed I have not seen one bad picture out of them and times that they weren’t available or I didn’t use them for pictures I had bad pictures, pictures I didn’t like and every time I have told myself I wish I would have used them! I even was going to go to them to fix pictures I had gotten elsewhere! You create moments and memories with them as friends not even just as your photographer, they are awesome people who I have grown close to! What a fun experience! The perfect balance of fun and easy-going paired with professionalism. They made my son and his girlfriend feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire prom photo shoot. When it was hot, they found shady destinations to shoot and even brought us all ice water from the nearby restaurant. We had a change of plans and they were flexible and agreed to start the photo shoot a half hour early. It was an over all great experience.
