Getting Started

Consultation with our designer- We meet with you in your home for a collaborative client and designer interview. In so doing, we are mutually discovering if the project is the right fit for each other. We discuss detail such as your goals for the space, your design aesthetic, how you will be using the space, what inspires you, your time-frame for completion, and your budget. We try to hit the ground running and give you some design input that is unique to your place.

Proposal, Project Scope & Estimated Design Fees- We outline the scope of work or the design portion of the project, our design intent and goals, the estimated design fee, the advance on our design fee required to get started, the estimated timeline. The design proposal is approved and initial advance to signal the start of the project. Please note that the Design Proposal is not the same as the design plan or design presentation. The Design Proposal needs to be approved and fees received before we begin your design plan and presentation.

Site Measure & Planning Day- This is where our design team comes to the site to discuss the project scope and to take measurements and photos of the space.

Preliminary Design- This is where we inspire you with our preliminary design concept for your space. This includes schematics of your space with information pertaining to color schemes, key fabrics, furniture selections and budget estimates including projected fees. If any revisions are needing to be done they are requested at this time.

Final Presentation & Budget Meeting

The Final Presentation Meeting involves all the approved elements plus any new elements that were agreed upon and any revision requested. We believe in a collaboration between client and designer and this presentation will address all of your wants and needs for your project, based on previous meetings.

The Final Presentation Includes:
Working drawings
Color scheme
All furnishings
Fabric memos
Detailed Budget breakdown-item by item.

The final presentation will be laid out to you so that you will be able to visualize what the finished space will look like. The budget is reviewed in detail and deposits are due for purchasing materials.

Procurement & Project Management

In this step, we create purchase orders, track orders, assess lead times, note any back-orders or discontinued items that may delay the project, and make decisions whether to re-select or allow our designer to choose something that would better fit the space.
Initiation of Construction & Renovation- In this step we begin the development and construction of your project. Here is where every detail is managed to ensure a successful completion. We collaborate with our builders and make site visits as necessary.

Receipt of Orders & Initial Installations- This is where all items we ordered are received at our warehouse, inspected for damages and prepared for the big installation day. We prefer to install in one day instead of several different deliveries, which in turn will increase your balance due to delivery charges if items are not delivered on scheduled date of installation.

Furniture Installation & Styling- This is the big step when items are installed and styled for a beautiful and inspiring finish. Installation is typically done in one day. We ensure that all items are delivered to our warehouse and then delivered to you all at once. We do appreciate the time alone to set up your space so we can tweak, adjust and make it just right before you see it in its final form.

Project Reveal

This is the best part of a project! Seeing how your space has come to life and walking through the final transformation. This is where we happy dance and start planning our next adventure!

All your furnishings and accessories in place
Your love and adoration for your design team!

Upon Project completion we do a final walk through with you where we can resolve any deficiencies and then photograph your beautiful space.
