This is one of our favorite restaurants. We know that it is always cold, so we dress accordingly. Sometimes difficult to hear. Meals are usually very good. The bacon on the dates was a bit burned. The spinach salad was excellent as was the lamb. However, the special shrimp dinner was a bit spicy for a couple of us and we had issues later in the evening. We are regulars at Indigo, and it was as perfect as ever. We are always made feel at home, like we are among friends. The Hot Dates and the Lamb are among our favorites and they did not disappoint.

Service was very good. Food was tasty, but pricey. Lighting was somewhat dim, but would be good for a date night. I would go back there for special occasions, but would not eat there frequently (mainly due to price).

Don’t let the outward appearance fool you. Yes, this is a fine restaurant hiding in a rum-dum strip mall. The mediocrity ends once you enter the large, white tablecloth dining room. Blue dog paintings and murals hang on every wall. A large bar area is in the back behind large wine racks that serve as room dividers. Mood lighting sets a romantic vibe. Service was prompt and friendly. Cocktails well prepared and the food is upscale with nice presentation. All highly recommends. However, the green beans with the entree could have probably been cooked for a tad longer and it took awhile to get our drawn butter (the flames also went out and never were able to get them relit). We had not been to Indigo for several years due to a bad experience with the previous management. Friends had told us it was greatly improved so we made Saturday evening reservations. The atmosphere was different than I remembered and quite dark. We were greeted warmly and all our service was very attentive. The menu was adequate and offered something for everyone in our party including a semi-vegetarian. The wine list was extensive but no spirit list except for house specialties. Each dish was well prepared and presented. My friend and I had both heard the rack of land was the best in town but although cooked as requested the serving was small for the price. although we stayed for a period of time, there were never more than a couple of other tables with customers. I was between giving Indigo a 5 and 4. I don’t give out 5 stars very often. So to start with, yes it’s high priced. But not stupid high. I’ve paid more in big cities. They have specials during the week, you might want to check those out. Presentation was very nice, food is always between very good to excellent (I’ve not experienced a bad “off” night yet) I do like the people at the bar. It makes for a fun night. If you’re not willing to pay more for a high ambiance setting, you might want to avoid this place. if you’re looking for a special night out or just want an upper class social setting check this one out but bring plenty of money.
