10/05/2019I had an absolute amazing experience at Imagine Salon. I had my hair done by Amanda for my wedding and my makeup done by Lindsey. My mother in-law and sister in-law had their hair done by Sonia. The service was above and beyond from the moment we walked in the salon. Amanda (the owner) is a sweet heart. I felt as if I had known her forever. If I am ever in Tahoe again and need my hair done I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this salon for any service they offer, but mainly if you are a bride to be and want to look and feel like a super star! More...

I found this salon using Yelp and was very nervous as they were far away from my home and I did not have the chance to do a trial make up run before my wedding.  As soon as I met Sonia I knew she would not let me down. She knew exactly what I wanted and was very patient and kind towards me and my mother.  She did my wedding make up and my hair and it was exactly what I asked for. She made me feel so beautiful! Sonia is a doll herself!!  Wish she was closer to my home so I can use her services again. Amanda was also sweet and treated us so well!  They were kind enough to open before so on hours to make sure our make up was done on time for the wedding. Just got my balayage done the other day by Sonya. I have lived here 2 years and was always worried about finding a new place to get my hair done. Usually I would wait until I had to go back down to SF for something to get my hair done. But I am glad I found this salon and Sonya. This is my second time with Sonya and she does a fantastic job. My hair is fine and can be tricky to get the blond balayage to look natural but she has done it perfectly every time. I am beyond pleased with the haircut as well. Absolutely wonderful. Had my wedding hair done and the manager Amanda was so kind and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The hair stylist Sonya was fabulous. They took a very nervous bride and made me feel like a princess. Champagne, strawberries and cake. Highly recommend !  The salon is neat, modern and spotless. This is by far the best hair salon I have ever been to! Everyone is so kind and the employees are very professional. Not only do I color my hair, but I have gotten my hair styled for dances, and fancy events. Never once have I been discontent with my hair. I had my hair done here for my wedding in 2017. The service was AMAZING! I had the best experience here. I showed up all stressed and frazzled from traveling and they made me feel calm and beautiful by the time I left.

I had an AMAZING experience here today. I have been dying my own hair for years but made quite a mess of it today when I tried going from bright red to blonde on my own. I called the shop and told the owner, Amanda the issue I was having and she was able to fit me in to get it fixed. Amanda and Julie even stayed late to get the excess red out of my hair and get it to exactly the shade I wanted. Cannot recommend them enough. Amanda and Julie are life savers! More...

I can't say enough about this salon! I called last minute and was able to get an appointment with Julie. She gave me a great consultation and I felt like she totally heard what my concerns were. The energy at the salon is so positive and happy. The owner of the salon and her mom seem like the nicest people on the entire planet. I am so thrilled with how my hair came out! I have been going to Imagine for a couple years now and it is the ONLY salon for me! I trust Mandy implicitly with my unique and specific hairstyle. She is the only one allowed to touch my hair! As my style has changed Mandy has been right there to guide me on the best techniques and which cut will be the edgiest for me. She has been my guiding and trustworthy light when it comes to my hair and I am always thrilled when I leave her chair. She gets me and what I want in a way no one else ever has! Not only is Mandy an amazing artist, all the other girls are so warm and welcoming as well. Amanda the owner is also amazing and always puts in orders whenever I need a specific Aveda product. I am a hairdresser and loathe going into salons to get my hair done but the ladies at this salon made me feel so comfortable and such down to earth lovely women, I think I had Mandy do my hair no words can explain what a wonderful salon and people that work here
When I come back to visit ill definitely be back but 5 stars isn't accurate it should be 10!!!!

Every time we are in Tahoe, I pass by Imagine Salon. I have purchased quality products from them. Yesterday, I had my hair done. I saw Mandy, who exudes happiness with her profession. She did a fantastic job! Hair to my waist was relieved of split ends and layered. I wish I could post a before and after pic of the curls and braids. I looked great for a dress up dinner at Izabella's.

Mandy is personable, friendly and relatable. No awkward silence being her first time customer. We chatted about local places, jobs, hair...great conversation flow.

I had such a beautiful, enjoyable experience getting my bridal hair & makeup done by Amanda at Imagine Salon! From the minute you walk in, you are offered champagne & sweet treats, and are overall made to feel very welcome & cared about. I live out of town & had never met Amanda before, but she was so friendly that I felt comfortable with her right away. What a darling lady she is! We looked at pictures online of wedding hairstyles for my hair length, she really listened to what I wanted, & she created the most gorgeous look for me. I honestly can’t believe she got my hair to do what it did with her expert hands!! When I came back on the day of my wedding, many of my family members surprised me & stopped by during the appointment, and she welcomed them all into the salon. I could never have imagined (get it, Imagine?) that my bridal hair & light makeup would turn out so perfectly! I felt great - felt beautiful but still “me”. I can't even begin to express how much I love Imagine Salon. Every single person that works there (owners included) are hands down amazing. I came in for my first time today and I loved the vibes, professionalism, and class these women hand. They are personable yet chatty and that is something you can't find anywhere. They immidiately ask you if you would like something to drink and they even have wine for us that absolutely love it. I had a water today but I know that I'll be back for every hair need for the rest of my life. Know whats even better? They bring gorgeous little snacks, like a beautiful slice of chocolate cake or a cookie and fresh fruit. Amanda was is and forever will be my stylist, she is incredible and I'm so blessed to be able to have come in today. Not only was I assured that there are still great people in this world but you can tell this business and the employees are a family. They work hard and love each other. The minute I walked in I knew I would love this salon. Champagne was poured and it included a snack (always love a snack!) I worked with Mandy for my hair and makeup appointment this visit . We went over photos of what I was looking for and then she went to work. I was blown away with the end results. Got a haircut for myself and my 2-year old daughter. Stylist was friendly and accommodating. Offered us tea and a snack and had a comfortable waiting area for my daughter to color while I got my haircut. Did a great kids cut with my daughter in my lap. I traveled from South Florida to South Lake Tahoe to get married, I didn't know anybody and I'm so happy to have received the referral for Amanda's salon. I cannot say enough about this salon!  I was there for a girls trip & contacted the owner to set up appointments.  Amanda was wonderful - quick to respond, friendly, professional and accommodating.  I went there 3 times to Amanda, not the owner, but the hair stylist and 1 time to Kurt (the gentleman there forgive me if I got name wrong).  Service was impeccable.  They welcomed me and went out of their way to make me comfortable and listen to what I want!  I have long hair & like it blown out pun straight & flat ironed.  I have a cow lick at the front that makes it difficult.  Both were AMAZING!  I was SO happy!!!  Amanda also came in at 8am for me a stranger on my last day there even tho they were going to s homeless shelter to volunteer.  If I lived there, this would be my place!  Amanda you are so sweet & I loved our chats!!!  Kurt you were SO nice!  Thank you both!!!!!!!!! My mother and I came in on 3/11 to get our hair and make-up done for my wedding. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. We had coordinated mostly over text which made it really easy because I live almost 3 hours away. Amanda did my hair and make-up and Julie took care of my mom's hair and make-up. I brought in 20 inch clip-in hair extensions and my normal hair is like 12 inches or to the top of my collar bone, but Amanda made them blend in so beautifully you couldn't tell at all that I had them in. I was so happy and felt so beautiful. Amanda was able to give me exactly what I wanted as far as make up. I didn't want an extremely dramatic look at all and she found a way to make a natural make up feel glamorous. Thank you Amanda! My mom got an up-do done and it was so elegant. I had hair and make up done here for my wedding on 12/2/17 and I'm so glad we choose imagine salon. My mom,  mother in law, and I had hair and make up done and 2 friends had their hair done. They had mimosas, snacks and cute robes for us. They were all friendly and fun and was a great start to the day.  Amanda did my hair and makeup and she did an amazing job! She showed one of the girls how to take out the veil later in the day and secured it in so it didn't fall out (or blow out, it was a very windy day) We all left beautiful, and a few minutes early. They even fit I  one of my friends I didn't schedule for hair and we were still ready about 30 min early. It was stress free to start the day. I took my 9yo daughter to Imagine because she had been begging for months to get the tips of her hair dyed blue. They took great care of her and did a fantastic job. She begged me to let her write a yelp review  so here it is:I went in to get my hair dyed and it looked beautiful by the time they were done with it. They washed,trimmed,and dyed my hair. One word....AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with all smiles. My best friend (my maid of honor) and I came here to get pretty for my wedding. We sat down and were given some yummy fruit and champagne. I was booked with Haley and my friend was booked with Julie. I showed Haley how I wanted my hair and she did it exactly (if not better) than the picture I showed her. My makeup was also done by Haley and it was perfect! Ladies, go for the airbrush makeup...it's wonderful!  My MOH's hair and makeup were beautiful as well. My sister and I had our make-up done by Julie and Amanda for my wedding this past weekend and left looking absolutely beautiful! I waited a bit too long to schedule an appointment (we were about 2 weeks out - oops!) and luckily, Julie was able to get us in. The salon is super cute and in the same shopping center as Raley's. We arrived a few minutes early and were DYING for a cup of coffee. The pleasant woman at the front desk (I did not get her name) offered to make us both a cup and brought it out with fresh strawberries and a delicious breakfast treat! Both ladies were super sweet and professional. I had a blast chatting while getting all dolled up! We were in and out in about an hour and looked fabulous!
