Excellent work and customer service! Joe was able to fit us in right away and was SUPER accommodating. We appreciated his timely responsiveness and helpful explanations from quote to completion. I called EVERY single ice dam removal place in Boston. There are only a handful of companies but the Ice Dam Guys were the only ones to call me back. They came when they said they would and worked very hard in extremely difficult (and dangerous) conditions to remove some ice dams. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. I have no hesitancy giving the Ice Dam Guys a 5 star review for the help they provided to my mother during a very difficult stretch of weather in Boston recently. We were buried under a record breaking amount of snow, and ice dams became a huge problem for many, including my mother. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! In February we had over 90 inches of snow! With water pouring through my ceiling I called you guys for help. I was told somebody would be out as soon as possible. Three hours later in the dark a truck pulled up to my house. Your crew worked for almost four hours to clear my roof in the dark. I can't begin to tell how relieved we were when we called the Ice Dam Guys and Tony was out the next day to take care of a VERY bad ice dam that had built up near the fireplace end of our home. Unbeknownst to us we also had ice dams at the back of the house that we couldn't see. Tony explained the process he would be using and got to work - working through the day and after dark with a light set up. Just like their ad said...they contacted me within a 24 hr period and I was able to get someone the next day to start removing the ice dams on my home. Others were calling local folks who were booked out 5 weeks or more. Alex ended being my technician and he was amazing. He was knowledgeable about his work and worked diligently and as quickly as possible. However, my dams were regally bad and did taste longer than estimated but I was so relieved to have them taken care of. This winter was a tough one in Bend Oregon. Ice Dam Guys came to the rescue when three of the buildings I managed started to have major leaking from ice dams. The Ice Dam Guys showed up in less than 24 hours in each instance. The service was thorough and their worker (paid hourly) was working his tail off the whole time. The Ice Dam Guys were nominally more expensive than some of their competition, but it was more than worth the cost. their competitors said they couldn't even show up for two weeks! Most server winter in Idaho in 33 years. After noticing two ice dams on my roof, on a Sunday morning, I called the Ice Dam Guys and left a voice mail message. I received a prompt return phone call. Jay answered all of my questions and an appointment was set for Monday morning – super quick. The three man crew arrived on-time, explained the process, and promptly started removing the ice dams. I was impressed with the professionalism of the crew, and the speed at which they worked. The ice dams were removed within 45-minutes and the crew removed additional snow from the roof, keeping the entire job to the minimum of one hour. The employees are rugged individuals. The lead of the three man crew is a hunting guide and Iraq war veteran. The other two individuals are outdoorsman. It takes a special type of person do the demanding and dangerous job of accessing a snowy roof in the winter, and dealing with the elements. Jay did an exceptional job of following-up to verify if I was satisfied with the work and Jay has always been available to answer questions. The cost for the services was well worth the investment. The alternative was risking water penetrating into my house, and the hassle of remediation. When I searched the internet for help with ice dam on the north side of my roof, the Ice Dam Guys Removal website was full of information. As a homeowner encountering a potential water damage situation for the first time, I appreciated the information and the clear manner of its presentation.

And then I picked up the phone and called. This is a Minnesota based company that does business across the country. The sales representative was very responsive and let me email photos of my home to assess situation. They didn’t have a crew in the immediate vicinity that day (they were in Billings MT, 240 miles east of here) and he asked me to call back the next day. Before I had a chance, he called me and told me they could have a crew in Helena by tomorrow. The crew promptly arrived this morning and got to work.

Larry is on my roof now. He is the consummate professional, extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. He stays on task while gathering pertinent info to share with me, like the approximate age of my roof, type and make of shingles, and photos of pits on shingles. Thankfully, the dam occurrence had not progressed to interior damage, just dripping through soffit and down the backside of my siding.

Steam removal is an amazing process. I enjoyed documenting their work in an Instagram story today. I am happy I made the call when I did and could not be more pleased with the service and results. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! I had a major conundrum this past winter and it involved me buying a new home, massive snow storms and major ice dams. We had a record snowfall here in Idaho last winter, (over 48 inches overall without let-up and 16 inches in one night,) and it all was more than any one family could handle. In town and the surrounding areas many structures had collapsed from the build-up and we were concerned about the weight of the 3 feet of compressed snow on our own roof and had developed terrible ice dams!

We called Ice Dam Guys! They were terrific.

They were easy to reach, good phone response and fast, polite customer service. They scheduled us the next day and we were thrilled to know we could get such quick service in an emergency situation.

Two men showed up minutes early, undid their equipment, set up ladders, and began the much needed melting of the ice dams and snow removal.

They worked a half-day and cleared off the majority of snow from two structures, (we have a guest house,) and more importantly all of the ice. I can't say I've met a nicer, politer, more efficient crew than these two men.

They took no breaks, worked extremely fast, (on a dangerous, slippery, roof,) cleaned up after themselves and thanked us for our business! I would recommend them to anyone.

We can't tell you how glad we are that we called Ice Dam Guys. We were rewarded with fast, courteous, efficient service at a cost of a fraction of what a new roof and walls would have cost.

Palumbo Landscaping saved my yard! We spent a year trying to work with a different contractor to who was either not available or was always trying to up charge us. We had placed a deposit with him and it took months (and many attempts) to get it returned to us. Then we contacted Palumbo Landscaping. Within a day he was out to our house, drone in hand, to discuss our project. As a result, thick ice dams (several inches thick) developed on our eaves, particularly on the north side of the house. At about 1 AM a slow drip started in the master bedroom. Later that morning before I went to work I went to work, I called Ice Dam Guys. Ty showed up within the hour & started working. He worked virtually non-stop for 6 hours to clear that ice dams (as I said the ice dams were very thick – 6 or more inches in some places - & our roof has a steep pitch, which made his job that much more difficult). When I got home from work, Ty showed me what he had accomplished & offered to do more. He was friendly, courteous, professional, very hard working & very effective. In the winter of 2016-17, living in the Central Oregon area we experienced extreme snow and ice. Repeated efforts to remove the ice and snow from the roof of our 2 story home proved unsuccessful until we called the Ice Dam Guys. Within 2 hours of the initial phone call we had a pro on site working to remove the snow and ice using a steam method so as not to harm the shingles or the roof in any way.
