We love our Humming Bird Woodworks kitchen! The mindful design by Mike Wilson honored the history of our home while bringing us better flow, efficiency, storage and style. The soapstone counter tops look sharp and are wearing well with time. Thank you Mike, Rob and Zak for your terrific work... we are grateful for your expertise and your outstanding craftsmanship. This company is completely amazing. You might be thinking you can source some soap stone from them, and you would be right. But there is so very much more to say.

This company is an absolute gem, not only can they source soap stone, fabricate soap stone, make anything you want from soap stone, but they can also make your custom kitchen cabinets, not only that but they can fully manage your entire building, addition, remodel project from start to finish. They just did that for us, and what a truly exceptional experience it was, I would trust no one else. From our zoning/permit prep, our excavation, our construction and everything on from that to our final inspection Humming Bird did everything, just fantastic, an absolute delight to work with, transparent, fair, professional, artisan, fun, craftsmen, are just a few of the traits they bring, and bring every day, every meeting.

There is no better choice than soap stone for such as kitchen countertops, (in our case that plus entire backsplash - yes Humming Bird can also hand cut soap stone tiles (we went subway sized). Granite is over rated, over priced and over maintenance.

I have no hesitation in recommending Humming Bird as a fantastic company in every respect. I look forward to the day we have another project for them ourselves, until then I hope that you consider them, check them out, even do some due diligence and then give them the green light for your next project.
