Calming the situation with assurance.  Melody took my frantic call the day before the wedding.  I flew in from San Francisco and I daughter and her fiancé who are both in the Navy planned a simple beach wedding in 3 weeks.  Because of the time crunch my daughter did not have time to order her bouquet and his boutonniere.  I called Melody and she listened to my frantic situation, gave me suggestions, cracked some jokes, and even gave me a discount. I came across House of Stemms via a Google search. I decided to go with them given their prices and selection. What I appreciated about this flower shop was their friendliness on the phone and commitment to customer service -- they send you a confirmation of the order, send you a photo of the flower arrangement when they've finished putting it together before it goes on out delivery, and they send you a confirmation of delivery. House of Stemms did the flowers for my wedding and they did an amazing job at a reasonable price!I ended up almost doubling my order about a month before my wedding (a family friend who was going to do the centerpieces fell through) and Stephanie had no problem adding 11 arrangements to my order. I was planning from Boston for a San Diego wedding, so I was unable to go in and meet anyone or see any samples in person. There is a lot of positive aspects to this purchase. Not only was there such an array of selections to choose from (making it very difficult to pick), but the arrangement was beautiful, as to the picture on the web site. House of Stemms emailed me a picture of the arrangement before delivery, another unexpected and welcome service. I had the option for same-day delivery, which is usually unheard of, and so helpful for this situation as it was the unexpected passing of a love one. The price was reasonable for the value. Kudos to House of Stemms !!!Anniversary snuck up on me and I called a day before asking for help. The woman who answered was super helpful and put together an arrangement that was really pretty which included Roses, Sunflowers, white Lilies in a nice bowl with glass beads at the bottom.  My Wife And Even her envious co-workers Loved them. I went in right as they were opening and the gentleman working helped me tremendously creating 2 absolutely stunning unique bouquets right on the spot. The price was incredibly reasonable. Update: with no problem what so ever they told me to come and and they will do the arrangement. I was worried. Customer service is amazing. Still giving a 4 because sad flowers should have been sold to anyone for $70.They sold half dead flowers for 70 dollars. For 70 bucks I you'd expect fresh cut flowers. Pedals are falling and they were bought 6 hours ago! When I normally get flowers they last more than a week. I'll be there tomorrow morning hoping they exchanged this mistake. Who sells half dead flowers for 70 dollars? Even the water the flowers are in is dirty! flowers are brown, ugly and looping down. I hope they do right by us and let us exchange it for fresh flowers. I wanted to send flowers to my friend in San Diego, so I turned to Yelp. After checking out numerous places, I thought the reviews were best for House of Stemms. Ordered the bouquet around 6pm on a Sunday night and they were delivered to her the next day around noon. I do wish I had received a delivery confirmation, as I have from local florists I have used in my area. But I emailed them and they responded quickly letting me know that they were indeed delivered.They offer beautiful flowers and fast service. Prices are typical for flower delivery. After years of negligently choosing Vons and their pitiful selection of flowers, I finally entered House of Stemms in desperate need of a pity bouquet.  I was greeted by a delightful woman by the name of Sara, who, unbeknownst to me, is a certified Floral Wizard.  I described to her in detail my ideal, "sorry your boyfriend is a weenie" mix, and without further adieu she immersed herself into the fridge full of pollinated happiness.  Petals flying, stems dropping, she emerged from the cold holding a variety of colorful hope she brought to the back of their quaint little shop.  As we swapped cute puppy and bad boyfriend stories, she meticulously cut and placed each flower in it's designated spot to create of of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever purchased. In awe of her wizardry, I concluded I would return for more botanic magic.  Today being my Creator's birthday, I knew my mom needed a spectacular bunch to decorate her table and activate her allergies.
