Some of the best customer service I've ever had!I was dreading dealing with mattress salesman and going through the whole process of buying a new bed. Luckily, I decided to stop by Holywood Mattress where I met the owner Frank. Frank is a no BS, straight-shooter and will really help you find the bed and mattress that's right for you. He gave me an amazing deal (Didn't realize just how great it was until I researched it later) and made next day delivery and setup a breeze. Going in, I was wary of buying a mattress from a smaller, local retail shop versus the larger, better known, name brand companies.  I had the usual issues of trust, price, reputation, etc.  Hollywood Mattress in Burbank proved my suspicions wrong.  The owner, Frankie Valenzuela, was outstanding.  He never rushed me as I moved from mattress to mattress.  As I laid on each, he shared information about the manufacturers and willingly pointed out the product differences between companies and their respective product lines. While the manufacturers Hollywood Mattress represents aren't what you see at the larger stores, they are reputable and well regarded in the industry (many supply the best hotels).  I shared with Frankie that I was just beginning my research and that my wife was away and wouldn't be able to test mattresses with me for several weeks.   I told him that I wanted to see other retailers too before making a final decision.  He didn't get defensive.  Rather, he gave me the names of the major retailers in the area that he thought I should see to complete my research and said he hoped I would bring my wife back to the store when she returned.After visiting the other larger retailers, I decided to return to Hollywood Mattress. Frankie's customer service was significantly better than what I experienced at the larger stores and his prices were substantially lower.  I laid again on several of the mattresses that were of interest and I told him I was still a bit apprehensive about buying without my wife having the opportunity to try them out first.   He said that if I wished to purchase a mattress before my wife returned and she didn't like it, he would gladly take it back for a full credit toward any other mattress.   As we desperately needed the new mattress I took him up on his offer.I purchased a California King Interlude Luxury Firm Box Top mattress by Sutherland.  The price was MUCH lower than like-mattresses at the larger retailers and included free delivery and free removal of the old mattress.  Frankie delivered the mattress himself with another employee and left behind the manufacturer's specification card that details the mattress' features so my wife could appreciate my choice.   I was once again impressed by Frankie's customer-centric behavior.  While we have 100 days to return the mattress if we are dissatisfied, my wife and i think that it's highly unlikely that will be necessary.  We love the mattress and are sleeping well again.  I cannot say enough about Hollywood Mattress.  5 stars across the board. Literally the BEST mattress business in the area! My boyfriend was in an accident recently, and Frank explained the ins and outs of each mattress to make sure it was the perfect fit for him. Easily the greatest mattress store you will ever visit. My friend and I stumbled upon this store while driving down from our work place, and I have never been happier in my life. Frank gave us an amazing deal with amazing customer service. He even threw in a pillow which makes the entire package even better. If you are looking for a new bed believe me this is the only store you should visit. Frank was a pleasure to deal with. He gave us a great deal on a mattress, bed frame/headboard and pillows and could not have been more fair. We had a fantastic, stress-free and fast experience shopping at Hollywood Mattress in Burbank - very happy customers! My husband and I had been searching, unsuccessfully, for a mattress on and off for about a year. We each like totally different beds and could never even get close to agreeing on a mattress. We've also been floored by the prices we saw at another local mattress store ($6000 for a King mattress?!). I honestly thought we'd never find a new mattress :(But then we arrived at HM!! Frank (the store owner) greeted us when we arrived and he was awesome! Very kind, understanding of our needs and super knowledgeable about the products (also was actually really sweet and patient when he our 1 year old was melting down, offering him a stuffed animal). I kid you not, we actually found the mattress of our dreams (which may or may not have saved our marriage) within about 15 minutes of being in the store. Frank had the mattress delivered two days later by super nice, professional deliverymen and called to check on our satisfaction with the whole process afterword. My wife and I recently purchased a new mattress at the Hollywood Mattress store in Burbank and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The store itself is very clean. The beds are arranged in such a way that it is easy to go from one bed to another and notice subtle differences in firmness and quality which ultimately helped us choose the right bed. If we had any questions, Frankie the store owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He guided us through the store and bed options that he thought might interest us. We never once felt pressured to buy anything however when we knew we had the right bed Frankie was able to get us a great deal. He even threw in a few extras as incentives although this definitely wasn't necessary and felt more like a gesture of kindness. We set a delivery date with Frankie and the bed was delivered and assembled promptly without any hassle whatsoever. I never thought buying a mattress and furniture would actually be fun! I had been dreading doing it for a long time until my wife finally dragged me into the store. Frankie was very knowledgeable about all the products in the store and super friendly. He was funny, charming, and never tried to up-sell me anything we didn't need. I walked in to get some information about pillows and was extremely impressed with what this store has to offer.  And with Frankie. Frankie was extremely knowledgeable, and took his time explaining the different features that distinguished the various pillows from each other.  Excellent customer service, without feeling that I was being pressured in any way to "just buy something, lady!"  What's great about this store is that they carry some boutique brands that you don't see at most mattress and bedding stores. Frank took great care of me.  There are tons of options when it comes to purchasing mattresses, but don't get duped by outfits running out of their garage or a storage shed!  The sweetness of low price is not worth the bitterness of poor quality.  Invest your money with a brick and mortar small business and you not only get good value and great service but you're supporting the small business entrepreneurs that are the back bone of America.   Big box stores may stack em deep and sell em cheap, but I can tell you from experience that a mattress is NOT a Costco or Ikea type purchase. (Despite the great return policy do you really want to lug that thing back to Costco once you've realized it wasn't the right fit for you because you couldn't try it in store.... Been there, not doing that again...) Come to a show room, try a few options, find the right fit for you from a knowledgeable sales person who knows their product and can explain the difference between a rock hard and a plush mattress.  You're body and mind will thank you after a good night's sleep.  The memory foam mattress I got just gave me a great night's sleep and I think I slept even better knowing it came with a warranty and a store that would help honor it if I need it!  Parking at this locating is limited, so swing around back to the alley where they have dedicated parking and start sleeping better!
