First time here and we were blown away. We were greeted by Hayley the owners daughter. Very sweet. Then our waiter Justin was so friendly. He answered all our questions about the menu and recommended the short ribs for my husband. They def didn't disappoint. Big portions and everything was melt in your mouth good. The bread basket offered cherry butter. I asked for seconds. I got the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Have been coming since they opened their doors years ago. This is definitely by far my favorite restaurant in the area! Every time I come I try something different on the menu, which is not a normal thing for me. I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ever ordered. The service has also always been on point. Practically everything is made in house which I really appreciate. Even foods I dont normally prefer I will give a try at the Hilltop because of the quality of food they put out. One of the owners is usually waiting tables, hosting, or behind the bar. She is super approachable and will definitely answer any question you may have...about anything. You can tell she has a lot of passion for what she does and it really reflects in the food, service, and overall experience.  The french onion soup is hands down the best. The house dressing is something to dream about. The house salad in general really. What restaurant have you gone to and can say that you have truly enjoyed their house salad You honestly really cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Wow, these people are incredible!! We sat for a tasting preparing for a wedding next year. I cannot believe the multi items provided, the explanation of each dish, the patience with our numerous questions and then to have the manager and chef sit down with us separately to make sure we were COMPLETELY satisfied. Well worth the drive from Buffalo.  The food was absolutely amazing.  The waitress was friendly but could have been more knowledgable about specials and pricing.  After we were done we visited for 30 mins and with only one other table would have expected our dirty plate be removed.  With that being said we had the steak on Kimmel Wick and the Steak burger with lobster claw both were our of this world.  We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great setting and amazing food! Been to Hilltop on many occasions (awesome prime rib) and have always had a great meal but last night’s was exceptional. We got there late, close to closing, and to me that usually means you’re going to be rushed and treated poorly but not at Hilltop. Alaina, our server, was over-the-top gracious, Crystal’s (the owner) daughter was helpful and attentive (didn’t catch her name, unfortunately) as was the entire staff. My husband and I split the Fiesta shrimp salad and the braised short rib Mac n cheese, one of the specials that should be added to their menu ASAP. Thank you, Alaina for the recommendation!! It was the perfect combination of a tasty, healthy salad with the shrimp cooked perfectly with a light dressing and the “to die for”, albeit unhealthy, but if this is how I’m leaving this world...” cheesy Mac n cheese with melt in your mouth short ribs topped with the best corn bread ever! Since Hilltop’s short ribs recently won a Chairman’s award at the Taste of Buffalo, I shouldn’t be surprised! With the closing of Garlock’s and Defippos, Hilltop has more than stepped up to the plate as being a great local, reasonably priced restaurant with a diverse menu and really tasty food. Hater’s are still gonna hate, but I’ve never had a bad experience with the food, wait time or the staff at Hilltop. Everyone should check it out. Thanks for a great meal! See ya soon! More...

I've been to Hilltop for dinner and have always had a great meal. My review today is to comment on the phenomenal catering they provide! We had a surprise party on July 6th and the food was the talk of the party! Crystal was responsive and worked with us to make sure our menu was perfect. The staff that dropped off and picked up was very helpful. The FOOD: wings, pulled pork, brisket, beef on weck, pretzles, chips salsa and guac, wraps and sandwiches...everything was phenomenal, everyone loved it and took menus home.
