This is a really lovely little low-key salon.  There is nothing intimidating or overwhelming about it (unlike some of the other "celebrity" salons in the area).  I can't recommend Gabby highly enough.  She is a truly talented artist and she will cut your hair so that, even when you're due for another haircut (in my case, six weeks later), your hair will still fall perfectly and look great.  Everyone who works at Herve Salon is friendly and fun.  You won't be disappointed. I'm new to LA and I have been struggling for a full YEAR to find a new hair stylist! I recently was silly enough to purchase a Groupon for someone a couple weeks ago and had her do my cut and color and I was so disappointed. Thankfully I soon discovered Herve Salon and met Luis!! He really listened to what I had to say and what my likes and dislikes were about my own hair and I showed him photos of how I usually style it and asked him to please help me and fix this awful cut I had gotten! Luis is a miracle worker. I have gotten so many compliments on my cut I honestly cannot wait to see Luis again next! He even took the time to come up with a color plan to get me to the level of blonde I desire. I really appreciated the time he took to fully understand my wants and needs and to help me create a realistic timeline to achieve it without damaging my hair. Herve Salon has a welcoming vibe and is the best boutique salon in Beverly Hills. My hairdresser is Patricia Valeri and she is first and foremost a creative artist. She is the most talented stylist I know and she is also one of the most caring people ever. All her clients appreciate her professionalism, her creative talents, and leave her chair feeling great about the way they look. I'm always amazed at the variety of clients she has in her chair in terms of age, careers, personalities (men and women), and the various, cut, colors, etc., she has mastered that pleases this incredibly diverse group. It's always fun to "cross paths" with whose who of Hollywood and business who sit in her chair. Patricia has many top end clients who are at the top of their game in their respective fields and she also has a list of more humble people like myself (I'm a doc producer). She, like everyone at Herve, makes people feel welcome and important.  I have recommended her to my friends and they think the world of her. Patricia is surrounded by other talented hairdressers at Herve's Salon like Chiko and Daniel who are fun and caring, too which is why I love coming here as it feels like I'm walking into a home. Very pleased with my experience here. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and I was offered coffee, tea, or water when I arrived. I got a glaze to cover up my old highlights and restore shine. Shout out to Gabby for knowing exactly what I wanted and making my hair fresh again!I found them initially on Gilt City. My voucher expired a couple months ago but I still wanted to give them a try and I'm glad I did. Also convenient that they're right next to a public parking garage. I have followed Herve for 16 years. He's a god. He knows what will look good on me and executes the haircut in a way that it wants to do cute things every morning with minimal work. So I look amazing like a movie star - hip trendy and sexy. I was living overseas and waited a year and a half to see him. I sound crazy, but I simply grew out my hair really long because it was better than experiencing shoddy haircuts where I was living. There's no better day than sitting in Herve's chair - every cut is a glorious makeover. I've been seeing Herve for haircuts on/off for almost 15 years and I have to say...there is just nothing that can compare to a Herve cut! ! He is the best at recommending styles that will compliment my face/features and is an expert at bringing dull, misbehaved hair back to a healthy, glorious state. The cuts are definitely a little pricier than your standard local salon - but, I assure you, it's worth every penny...and I can go much longer (about 12 weeks) between cuts because they grow out so beautifully. People stop me all the time to tell me how much they love my hair- and I love it, too. It's totally worth my time (drive from OC!) and investment and I highly recommend Herve and his new salon. Finally I found a hair stylist who knows fine hair, how to give it full body and make it look amazing. Herve is truly a hair guru. After a few seconds looking at my hair, he recommended shortening my hair to give it more volume with layers. I am glad I listened to his recommendation. I have received quite a few compliments on my hair since then. Lidia the color specialist was also great. She listened to what I liked and applied a nice, shiny color to my hair. My usual hairdresser moved out of state and most other ones would damage my hair by over-processing it due to the fact that my roots are a dark blonde and are mistaken for brown or even black often. I came in to see Lydia because I saw her work on other people with blonde hair and thought it looked amazing, I wanted something similar. Right away she knew my roots were blonde despite their dark appearance and she advised me on how to best work with my hair to make it as light as I like it and still keep it healthy. She didn't use bleach at all, and I love that because it means my hair isn't going to dry out and break off. While the color was processing she checked my hair every so often because she didn't want to over process it and to get to know how my hair reacts to the color since it was her first time working on it. She put toner on the hair after because there was some brass colors through out from my previous highlights and probably from natural elements of the 2 months prior. With all of that she was able to reach a tone that I really like that isn't orange while still looking natural and on top of all that my hair feels smooth and soft. She blow dried my hair really well and styled it so when I left the salon I felt gorgeous.Overall it was a great experience, it didn't take too long or too short, I felt that everyone that worked in the salon was very nice a respectful, and that I was treated with the highest of quality of work. Located right in the heart of the fashionable district of Beverly Hills. I had an excellent time getting a great haircut from Rene. He was able to tame the wildman look I came in with. He used great products afterwards to enhance the cut. Ask for Rene at the front desk and tell him that Sal sent you and he will give you a 25% discount. He has a colorful past clientele.
