My wife! There have been many journeys, or should I say programs, throughout the years and HERO Fitness is the one that has become reality. The staff and other members are fun and make the workouts exciting to do. Every day is a different workout and targets a different area making it so that you don't feel bored doing the same movements. During my 6 wk challenge I lost 10.6 lbs, 6% body fat and 13.2 lbs of total body fat. I can see and feel the difference!! More...

I have definitely found a home for my fitness needs. I’m starting week 8 and have lost 16 lbs but more than that I have more energy, stamina and strength. The exercises are geared towards quality, control and effort so your going to get more out of each rep. I love the camaraderie the classes are fun, educational and just when you think you’ve hit your limit the instructors help you reach another level. I tried a 30-minute class last Saturday and it was awesome! The coaches are energetic and extremely motivating. I've decided to try out their 6 week boot camp class next week and actually excited about it. Check them out!

What can I say about hero fitness that hasn't been said yet? This place is awesome!
After trying multiple gyms and being frustrated with the lack of variety, challenge and support, I stumbled upon Hero. This place is truly like no other. The trainers and all the participants are so kind and supportive! You feel like you're among family and friends when you come in. The workouts are tough, but are also incredibly fun.
I recommend trying their challenges since they will kick your butt into gear and get you started on a healthier journey in life.
Try it out, you won't regret it!

Hero Fitness has really changed my life and the way I look at exercising. Before Hero I was just running, but I knew I needed to do something different to see the results I've been wanting. I joined with a friend and I am so happy that I did! I am leaner and in some of the best shape of my life. I just ran my second half marathon and beat my time by almost 10 minutes. I've also met some really great people that make me want to go everyday to workout with them. The amount of personalized training you get from Loryn is unreal. Hero Fitness and Loryn are terrific. For years I struggled to maintain consistency in my diet and exercise routine. After turning 50 I realized that I needed someone to personally inspire and encourage me to reach my goals. Loryn worked with me to design a diet and fitness plan that would help me achieve my goals. I have been able to lose 8% body fat, 18 pounds and add tone and muscle that I have never had. Here are a few of the clients we have trained:
We have trained 2 clients to do their first Spartan Race and they finished in the top 16% of women for the day
We have trained 2 marathon runners. One increased her half marathon time by 10 minutes and another one is building her endurance for the Disney Marathon
We have trained 1 active senior who after one month of weight training with us, went on a 9 mile hike and said his knees didn't ache at all the next day when for years they have been after a strenuous hike.
We have trained 1 person with a thyroid issues to lose 30lbs since May 2017 and is only 11 pounds away from her big milestone goal.
We have trained 3 women who work in high pressure corporate jobs to lose 18lbs, 5lbs, and 10lbs during their time with us.

What is great about training with me at Hero Fitness is that we are not a major chain or franchise. We are owned and operated by a Charlotte/Matthews local. Why is this important? It means that the money you spend to train with us at Hero goes back to the community inside and outside of the gym.
