What makes a great website?
A great website is one that's remembered. Whether it be the great layout or the catchy phrases, if they remember it they'll come back.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
That depends on the project.
If you're a roofing company, I'll ask;
What brands and product lines do you offer?
Are you commercial and/or residential?
Do you you do siding, gutters, window replacement?
You can see, the interview will depend on your company. I'll research your industry and then start asking the questions.

The response I get when a customer really loves my work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being told that a customer is over quota. When I sell a design, I don't want to hear that I'm spending too many man/hours on a site. A site isn't finished until I say it is. If I want yo invest another 20 man/hours in getting the site to look or act like I want, I don't want a a boss telling me I can't.
