I was extremely happy with the cake and service that Kathy provided. I called ahead to ask about pricing and other options and also said that I had a sample picture of what I wanted. She absolutely nailed it! Needed a Winnie-the-Pooh cake for a baby shower and not only did it look incredible, but it tasted great!Too often I feel that cake for events look good but once you start to eat it it just loses all appeal. Kathy was amazing to communicate with and did a great job with our Tennis Themed Birthday cake! I don't usually order customized cakes so the process was somewhat new to me but Kathy did a great job and was very responsive to my text messages/calls. I used to order my kids' cakes from a place called Rooney Girl Bakery. They were good, but they have increased their price to the point where it is too much for me to pay for a kid's birthday cake. I sent a request for a quote to a few different places, and a Kathy was one of the first to respond back. I had ordered a Dora themed cake for my neice's 3rd Birthday. Kathy is really awesome. She is very quick at responding and accommodating my requests. I ordered the toys for the cake which turned out to be very small. But she still did an outstanding job. Kids loved the cake and all the parents kept asking where did you get the from. Last year also I ordered a moana themed cake for my neice's 2nd Birthday party. Kathy did an amazing job. The cake looked absolutely gorgeous. So I contacted Kathy a week or so before my friend's house warming party and Kathy said she was able to accommodate that date. My friend just bought a house in Mission Viejo and was having a house warming party and I wanted to do something special for her and her family so I figured a cake was the perfect idea. I sent Kathy three photos of what I was thinking of doing and she was very prompt and specific with what she could do. (Everything was done via text) I eventually settled with a nest themed cake because it was the most fitting for my friend's new family and house. The original photo just had two birds but I asked if Kathy could make a baby bird and she did! Everyone at the party couldn't believe how cute the cake was!! We had to leave the party a bit early(before the cake cutting) so unfortunately we were not able to try the cake for ourselves. I ordered a wedding cake last week & it was absolutely gorgeous. I worked with Kathy.  I sent her a picture of a 3 tier cake I saw on Pinterest and she recreated it even better than I imagined! Servings: 200 people. It was delicious! Everyone was raving about it all night. She made the flowers with gum paste and it looked so real! I opted out of using real flowers, but you couldn't even tell. The details were superb! I wish the wedding photos were done so I can post a picture, but I highly recommend Heavenly Bite Bakery! Kathy is so personable and understands what you are looking for by asking the right questions.  I needed a personalized custom cake for my wife's birthday and she was able to make it happen in such a short period of time, delivered.  She delivers far and near.  Also, remember, if you send her a picture of what you want, she will make it for you.  Also, she is one of the few that is comfortable using SMS/MMS TEXTING, so the communication with her is smooth.  She is very responsive, so you get a quick answer to your questions.  However, there is only one thing she needs to do that I believe will 100% improve her business is to accept AMERCIAN EXPRESS.  I know it will cost her 1 or 2% more, but I think she is missing out on some of the customers that can give her good business.  But she takes Paypal, Visa & Mastercard, which is great. Kathy's cakes are to die for! So moist and rich, we had people saying it was the best cake they have ever tasted in their lives! I think that is about right. We had a cake tasting with Kathy at her office and we chose our flavors there. She is very accommodating when choosing flavors and the cakes are just top notch. We opted for a naked, drip cake and it was beyond beautiful. Definitely Pinterest worthy!
I will have to add however, at times it was a bit of a waiting game when trying to reach her for order changes, and a slight disorganization in communication. Our order included regular sized cupcakes and we got mini cupcakes instead which was a bit of a bummer because we would have ordered so many more! In the end, it didn't really matter as everyone was thrilled at how delicious it all was, plus she did refund us back the difference. All in all, we are happy in having chosen Heavenly Bite Bakery and can't thank Kathy enough for our gorgeous wedding cake! More...

This is by far the Best bakery ever. I was referred to Ms Kathy by a really good friend of mine. We had attended a party where the cake she had ordered was from her and it was absolutely stunning. I have never seen and tasted something like that. We needed a cake and cupcakes for a winter wonderland theme party we were hosting. In the past I used to be constantly in search of the best bakery's in OC and LA for the perfect cake and it wasn't the best. Truthfully, when I spoke with Ms Kathy she was so sweet, easy to talk to and she helped me pick the perfect cake and cupcake designs which I appreciate and needed help in. I hired Kathy for my wedding because I had a dream of a cupcake tower with a small groom's cake on top decorated with lots of sunflowers. She created 40 sunflowers using fondant (I think) to decorate my sunflowers and my little top cake. The price is really good--the best I could find including distance, the customized sunflowers, the cupcakes, the top cake, and the cake stand. We had a tasting at her home, and the cupcakes were absolutely delicious. We went with two flavors for the cupcakes: chocolate with chocolate frosting and vanilla with vanilla frosting. There were no leftovers! My husband and I opted to eat our cake now instead of waiting until a year later, and it was really good. If you're a frosting junky, the frosting was really good. I didn't like the taste of the sunflowers, but then again, who likes the taste of fondant?The only thing that had me really concerned was that the day of the wedding she showed up at the time of the ceremony! We had scheduled to have her come in earlier than that. It all worked out and the food was delicious, so I guess that's all that matters. the best Pastry / Bakery ever in Orange County. It was my girl friend's birthday and I wanted to have her car, purse, shoe and jewelry be made out of cake. I contacted many different places in O.C. and all of them sais they can't do it except Heavenly Bite Bakery (Kathy). They did an amazing job by making and delivering it. For me presentation was important in my cake, and they were able to create a breathtaking cake with beautiful ruffle icing on four-tiers, and an added decoration of fresh flowers at my wish. Not only was I completely happy with the ease in which they were able to realize my vision, but I was BLOWN AWAY by the flavor. I ordered Bavarian cream and tiramisu cream filling and it was hands down the best cake I've ever tried. After the final guest count, I saw that I ordered way more cake than people, but that didn't stop the cake from disappearing. Everybody loved it. I loved it.
