Top notch!!!I rescued Larson (my adorable retired medical research Beagle) in November 2018. Having lived the first 11 months of his life in a laboratory, I am determined to make him forget his unfortunate start in this world and give him the best life possible. I tried several daycare and dog walking services but was sadly disappointed by most of them. I met a fellow dog mom at the St. Nicholas dog run who highly recommended HOH. I stopped in to check it out and was immediately impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I had to bring Larson in for an evaluation and appreciated the due diligence they take to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of the dogs. He is a very sweet boy, so he passed with flying colors. The entire staff at HOH is wonderful - Dr. Sola, the receptionists, licensed veterinary nurses, assistants, groomers and all of the pet care team members. Communication is key and the staff was completely transparent in letting me know if anything unusual happened during the day and I would receive daily updates via text or email with pictures and videos (one of my favorite photos was taken at HoH). Another great thing about HOH is that it is a one-stop-shop for all of your pet care needs: daycare, boarding, dental, grooming and medical services. I tried them all and was always pleased with the knowledge and skills of the staff. I wholeheartedly trusted everyone and knew that Larson was receiving the great care, along with so much love. He established several doggy friendships and would come home exhausted from playing (see photo). The team at Heart of Harlem are professional, caring and thoughtful. They are genuine pet lovers. My dog, who can be anxious around strangers, actually speeds up when he realizes we're heading to the vet! They take really good care of him when he's there for a check up or treatment. I have been bringing my kitty Boba here for about 2 years now. It is hard finding a good clinic as I want to make sure that Boba is in the best hands possible(as would any pet owner. ) When I stumbled upon Heart of Harlem, I immediately felt relived. Dr. Sola and Dr. O of Heart of Harlem, are the kindest, gentlest, and most knowledgeable Veterinarians that I have met. You can tell that they are passionate about their jobs, and that they truly love every animal that walks through their doors. Upon entering, The staff in the front has always greeted me with soft eyes and welcoming smiles. I immediately felt comfortable being in the clinic with my cat. The staff is always very clear about what Boba needs and what the visit entails. They always make sure to run over again what the prices are and what I will be paying for. They have never pressured me into purchasing anything extra that I don't need. I always feel comfortable with that as well. I have been to other clinics that push all of these items on me that my cat doesn't NEED at the moment. I always want the best for my cat Boba, but as any pet owner knows, extra things can be expensive. Dr. Sola was the first doctor Boba has seen. He really took the time to listen to my concerns, and ensured that Boba was (and always will be) in good hands. Boba is the sweetest cat, but does get nervous. Dr. Sola let him explore his office and Bobs soon calmed down and feel in love with Dr. Sola. I have never seen Boba so comfortable around anyone other than myself. Even the Vet Technicians are extremely kind, passionate, gentle and calm. (Boba loves you as well!)I have also seen Dr. O when Dr. Sola wasn't available. Dr. O is also extremely sweet, calm, knowledge and passionate about his job. Boba loved him as well. Over all, I am completely satisfied with this clinic. Nice staff, however I am currently waiting, I did a walk in and its been almost 2 hours what gives, they told me it could take 30 minutes to an hour and its been almost 2. Ill update this later to include their service.Update: I got called and had a wonderful doctor, their service is top-notch and the doctor explained how to apply medication and what exactly was wrong with my dog. It's a good place. Good service. Just small. Requires you to go up stairs. No elevator. No pharmacy or lab on site so you play the waiting game with blood work and medicine.

Dr. Sola and his staff are absolutely the best. Friendly, loving, caring & professional. I am so happy I found Dr. Sola two years ago when I first got Roxy. He has been so helpful in guiding me on how to care for her and has been so patient & understanding with me when I make an emergency appt for what turns out to only be an anxious Mommy issue.
