What can I say about Nicki, she is an amazing photographer. She captured every special moment of our big day. She kept in contact with me before the wedding, checking on how everything was going, (i was soo nervous about last min complications) but she keep reassuring me that Everything was going to be ok. I mean who does that right? Only ppl like her, cause she loves what she does and it shows on her beautiful work. Hearts & Lens Nicki Gaylord recently completed a family photo shoot for us in the Grand Marion Woodforest subdivision. The family was comprised of 8 adults, 5 toddlers (2 sets of twins 4 and under and a 19 month old)! I cannot express how delighted we all were with the photos taken. She took some indoors (due to the heat) but also accomplished some truly heartfelt and sweet photos taken outside. Nicki even held the fussy 19 month old while taking photos outside. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Finding flattering angles, light, and locations. Listening to the clients wants and hopes for their session. Making clients comfortable to act natural in front of you and the camera.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What they incision their photos to look like, what do they expect from the session, what is most important moments do they want captured
What do you love most about your job?
Capturing moments people didn’t even know they would love
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seeing the joy of clients who loved their images, and being able to freeze moments in time that people didn’t want to let go of. Knowing they could now hang these images on their walls to cherish forever makes my heart happy.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have fun on our shoots, lots of laughs and movement, I don’t like sitting in one position for long.
