First time customer and I was impressed from the first person I talked to making the appointment until I walked out the door. I called and got same day appointment with Lauren who took her time matching up my color perfectly and even straightened my hair which is a treat for me since my hair is always naturally curly. My daughter needed a hair appt after the shop closed. She was heading to a formal but couldn’t get to the salon before it closed because of softball. The owner, Carey, stayed after closing in order to style my daughter’s hair. Carey, has done my daughter’s hair on multiple occasions for school musicals, formals, and for regular cuts. She took the time to discuss exactly what I was looking for and the best part is... She did exactly what I was looking for! Perfect color and perfect cut! I couldn't be happier. The salon atmosphere is welcoming! This place is AWESOME! I live in Jersey about an hour away, and it is SO WORTH the drive to visit Headstrong. Carey goes above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied when I leave her chair. The first time I visited, she gave me the best haircut I've ever had, and now I refuse to go anywhere else! Don't get me started on her flawless color skills. I've always been very paricular about my hair and haircuts (it was once at a level that had my loved ones concerned). Anyway, since the first time I got my hair cut here, I've been extremely happy and satisfied.
I think that shows in the fact that I've been coming here for, I don't know, 6 years? Something along those lines.
The bottom line is this: if you're looking for a great, friendly staff that knows what they're doing, then stop wasting your time and come to Headstrong.

Headstrong has been my favorite salon for a few years now. I am there every six weeks! I love the people that work there. Everyone is friendly and welcoming . My stylist is Nicole. I can't say enough good things about her. She is very talented and I'm always happy with what she does with my hair.
