We positioned a booking for 7:30 as well as was seated at 7:30. The host was really nice and also asked how our day was. Every seat was filled. It was pretty loud and I captured myself yelling to have a discussion yet it was great. We did come at the busiest time of the day. I mosted likely to go utilize the toilet and I saw that it was a longer wait than normal so I thought there was a key that was required. Ultimately somebody comes out as well as I had not been certain if it was a homeless guy. It caught me off guard. Our web server Maria was wonderful! She aided me with my nutritional requirements and also provided me with such a delicious plate. My guy liked mine better than his. The food was SO WORTH the rate. I would come right here once more. Wow. EXPENSIVE! The food is good, and overly fancy with small portions. The service was exceptional and we were well taken care of. They have a fancy drink menu with original cocktails that I quite enjoyed. "The swift" a coffee style cocktail was my favorite.I had: butternut squash soup, it was rich and savory. I enjoyed itPitman farms chicken, the chicken was exceptionally most and flavorful, the addition of chalets, bacon chunks and the sauce made this a great experience. The public house bar, this was a brownie with peanuts, some type of fudge sauce and coffee ice cream. Probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall, if you go here you will be treating yourself to some good food. But man, bring your wallet. Expect to spend about $100 per person and if you get away with less consider it a bonus. More...

The service is on spot, polite and educated about the menu and options. I asked for a unique change to the menu and they quickly and happily complied. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The ambiance and food here are well thought out. Each item has an interesting flavor combination that you wouldn't expect, but just work well. The service was equally good, and their cocktail menu is fairly good. However it's pretty pricey, so don't expect to get out for under 50 dollars per person (which is fine, I just didn't research before I visited), and the parking lot is odd, and not super clear on where to park. This is my new favorite spot in Sac and I wish we had more like it! The staff is very friendly and the ambience is bold, welcoming, and warm. No doubt they make the best cocktails either! The only area for improvement is the food. I have been several times each month since it has opened and by default have tasted the majority of the menu. The appetizers and burger are consistently great but everything else is hit or miss. For example, the rigatoni pasta last night was drenched in anise making not edible and the crabonara had all the right flavors but desperately needed salt.
