Laura decorated our family room, helped to decorate and accessorize our newly remodeled kitchen and breakfast room, and most recently designed my daughter’s new “big girl” bedroom. Her design sense is unparalleled, and I could not love our spaces more. She really listens to how you want to use a room, takes into account any factors that would affect furniture choices (our dining chairs had to be cat friendly), and keeps your budget in mind. Laura helped us furnish and decorate our dining room, family room, hearth room, and study after an extensive remodel. She listened to our vision for the rooms, and put together an amazing selection of furniture, art, and accessories for us to consider. Laura has an amazing ability to study a room and immediately understand the best way to maximize space. She suggested details and pieces that I never would have considered on my own, but that truly complete the room. Laura recently managed a remodel of several first floor living spaces in our house. Not only was I hiring her for her design aesthetic, but she coordinated the whole project with all of the contractors and professionals, so I did not have to. This was a big help as I didn't have the time or the experience to manage all the moving parts and pieces. In terms of her design choices, she is very good about using a back and forth on making decisions--she makes her recommendations, but also listens to mine, and lets me know if she thought mine would fit or not fit what I was really looking for. This was invaluable advice and perspective--this was a big project and I didn't want to make any mistakes! I'm very happy with the outcome, and with the working relationship. More...
