I am delighted to review the interior design services provided by Barbara Hardwick of Hardwick Design and share with others the personal attention and exceptional expertize of this designer.
I stumbled upon Hardwick Design as I searched on Houzz for assistance with the redecorating of the first floor of my home. From my initial conversation with Barbara, I knew that she was the professional with whom I wanted to work to update my outdated decor and revitalize my first floor living space. Barbara's creativity, coupled with her sincere desire to familiarize herself with my style, "redecorating" comfort level, likes and dislikes, produced designs for my living room, dining room, family room and parts of my kitchen that are beautiful, functional and so reflective of my personal style and taste. With Barbara's guidance and clear explanations of her design suggestions, I purchased several pieces of new furniture, area rugs, lighting fixtures, drapery and decorative accents that brought rich color and new life into my tired living spaces. I could not be more delighted with the finished look of my first floor or the special lady whose knowledge, experience and personal interest in her client produced such pleasing results.
Barbara Hardwick of Hardwick Design is practical, innovative and budget-respectful. She is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her without reservation to anyone seeking a quality interior designer.

Over many years, my association with Barbara Hardwick and Hardwick Designs has served me in ways large and small. From saving me from myself (very bad wall covering choices) to changing the entire flow of traffic and energy in my new home, moving walls and opening space, and creating the warm and inviting environment deeply desired but could not achieve without Barbara's help and guidance.
Barbara's commitment to her clients and the high standards she sets for herself and any job she undertakes guarantees a satisfying and beautiful outcome.

Yet she remains pleasant and considerate of all parties involved. She is a problem-solver and makes every effort to bring each situation to a solution which works for all. I first saw Barb's finished work in my best friend's home. Her style and flair immediately made an impression on me. Two years later, my husband and I moved to a house that needed cosmetic updating.
I contacted Barb and she has helped us transform a 60's tired ranch into our home. Barb's approach to her project is working with her client's style; not her own. Her eye for color is outstanding. She is also conscious of her client's budget-she will hunt for the best value without compromising workmanship.
What I like most about Barb is her passion and dedication to her work and her clients. She goes the extra, extra mile! Lastly....Barb is FUN!

Hardwick Design has done a number of projects for me including a major kitchen remodel, custom draperies, new staircase/carpeting and reupolstering. Barb's design concepts are truly innovative and while I consider myself fairly adept at decorating, she always surprises me with something much better than even I envisioned. Hardwick Design designed our fire place, hearth and foyer. Every thing was carefully thought out from the intricate design ot the mantle to the beautiful marble hearth. The foyer has a well designed pattern that has two inch squares that matched the marble on the fire place to tie it together. She is truly a remarkable designer. Hardwick Design created an inspirational living space in our kitchen which exceeded our expectations. We took the kitchen down to the studs, brought it back to life, and now have a classic, polished look as opposed to a poor, dated looking expression. Attention to detail, expert advice and thoughtful applications, all played a part in creating our new look. Mostly what we appreciated, was Barb Hardwick's determination to find aesthetically pleasing, artistic solutions to our design problems.
