Wedding night. Appetizers were perfect. Salad and meal was perfectly timed after speeches. The meals were proportionate and so good that everyone at my table cleaned their plate, meat or chicken. Domenic your bartender busted his bottom for everyone and took care of anyone as he went along. Played 9 yesterday with wedding party the course was in great shape. Not too challenging but tactics come in to play as the holes are short with reasonable hazards and sand in play. Went to a wedding at Harbor Lights and it was fabulous from start to finish! Beautiful location on the water, excellent opportunities for incredible photography. The event area was nicely sectioned with cocktail area and main seating with plenty of room and views. Food was first rate. I had a stuffed chicken that was moist and tasty, not your typical rubber chicken fare. Appetizers were excellent. Staff was also great. Walter the bar tender was outstanding! Really a great place to enjoy an outdoor drink, food or desserts. Went there yesterday, had a great time, beautiful sunset. Awesome service at the Tiki bar / dining area. The only issue, we asked our server if we could move our chairs and smoke a cigar, he said yes, after we started our cigars, he comes back and said rules have changed, we need to move to the smoking section. My husband and I had our wedding at Harbor Lights in Oct of 2018, i can't put into words how perfect everything was!! Hannah and her staff are amazing and everything was super seamless ! ! If anything went wrong then I didn't know about it. The food the view the setting- it was perfect ! We couldn't have asked for a better venue or more attentive staff! My husband and I were married at Harbor Lights a few weeks ago, and we could not have asked for a better venue. From the planning process to the rehearsal dinner to our actual wedding day, the team was there to answer our questions and give us guidance.

Our guests were impressed by the views for the ceremony and reception. We opted to have buckets of balls available for our guests to use the driving range during cocktail hour, which was a big hit.

Our family and friends are still raving about the food, especially the passed hors d'oeuvres (I would HIGHLY recommend the Fish and Chips- they will not disappoint)! We also included a Doughnut and Coffee Milk station for dessert, which they also enjoyed.

Overall, Harbor Lights is an amazing venue. They allowed us to host the wedding of our dreams- which our guests will be talking about for years to come. More...

This is for the Tiki Bar only.  What I really want to do is give this one star so no one except a select few people visit. .. this way I will always have a seat at the bar, because once this gets out I can pretty much assume that finding a seat around the tiki bar will be damn near impossible.  The views are spectacular, the staff are personable, friendly, and like to joke around with the regulars.  I consider myself a regular, so please make sure I have a seat available when I show up.  I'd appreciate it.   This is a seasonal place, and for $20 you can grab a lounge chair and have access to the pool for the day.  Theres a mix of older and younger people.  Restrooms are clean, and stocked. The food comes off the food truck called the Tiki Truck.  Tasty dishes for good prices, quick service.  We had one issue with one of our dishes that the staff caught before we did, and promptly took care of us.  (If you must know, we only received 5 clam cakes instead of 6!)    There's a little something for all, from black bean burgers to fish tacos to clam cakes to salads.  So would I recommend this place?  Absolutely not, you'll hate it, I know you will, but if you must try somewhere really cool, and great, with a nice cool ocean breeze, just please make sure there are 2 empty seats waiting for me at the bar? I went there to visit some friends who were up from Florida. We got some drinks at the outdoor restaurant and bar called Par&Tackle. To start, the view is absolutely amazing. Looking out into the cove with the sun setting was absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant is right next to the golf course, but they have safety netting so no one is at risk.The bartenders there were really great, friendly, and didn't miss a beat. Even with the 20+ people at the bar, they knew my refill order without me even asking. They only had 4 beers on tap, all local brews, but it was fine for me.I did not order any food, but I looked over the menu. The food choices looked great, but is pretty pricey, although it is a country club so it wasn't surprising. My friend ordered one of their pizzas and said it was extremely good.I only gave it four stars because the restaurant is hard to find. It is behind the clubhouse, not visible from the parking lot. There is also no clear signs telling you where to go. Also, while not entirely their fault, we were getting eaten alive by bugs. It would have been better if they had tiki torches or something else to drive the bugs away. More...

We are so happy we chose Harbor Lights for our wedding this March! Jessica is the best and so sweet. She is accommodating and always responds quickly no matter my questions. Review for Par & Tackle only.  My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite and we were very pleased.   Harbor lights is a massive complex with 9 holes of Golf and a Marina.  Par & Tackle is a perfect sunny weather restaurant, its a Pergola type structure with a roof only and no walls (on sunny days at least).   You enjoy wide open views of the water and the random golf foursome finishing up their round on the 9th hole.   As for food, my daughter had the bacon cheeseburger which she really enjoyed (especially the fries) and I had chicken wings.   Both were completely perfect - just what we expected and well priced.  No alcholic beverages for us - we just had soda (free refills) and our total bill was $25.   Definitely going to come back to try our more options! I've heard that Harbor Lights is a hidden gem as far as Rhode Island wedding venues go, but I'm not sure how it can be. The facility is beautiful and elegant. The weather in April in New England is incredibly unpredictable, so while I liked that Harbor Lights had an outdoor space for the ceremony, it was also very important to me that that the entire wedding could be indoors if possible. It rained and that is what we ended up doing, but everything was beautiful and there were still a bunch of places where we could take photos safe from the rain. The food at Harbor Lights is delicious and I think high end for a wedding venue. During the planning process the folks in the events office were super responsive and helpful and the girls who were there on the day of the event were amazing. We did have a couple issues with the bar but we brought them up to the staff after the wedding and they were effectively resolved. I would highly recommend Harbor Lights! More...

Very pretty location. Does get cold on the water. Many expensive weddings are hosted here. There's a hall for dancing and there's plenty of room to roam away from the party. Harbor Lights is a great place to be on a nice summer day. Start off by playing a round of golf on their 9 hole golf course. It is on the shorter side but well maintained and provides enough of a challenge for the average golfer. The one drawback of the course is drainage, the course will be very wet in the Spring.After the round, grab a drink and a snack at the Par and Tackle, their nice outside bar/restaurant. It has a mixture of arrangements from a nice bar and high tables, to couches and Adirondack chairs. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. Plus you have a lovely view of the water.It also has a nice event space inside and the few events I have been here for have always been well run with delicious food and attentive staff. When looking for the perfect venue, Harbor Lights hit all of our goals: the beautiful ceremony location overlooking the bay, the reception hall that has views of the water, and the price that fit in our budget with our expected guest numbers! The food was fantastic and well prepared! Hannah was our coordinator and she did such a wonderful job from the tour to the big day. When we had conflicts come up, Hannah was quick to respond back and more than willing to try to help us out. The team at Harbor Lights did more than enough to make sure that the day went smoothly especially when problems arose. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the location, the food, the sunset and the venue itself! We were even given a free game of golf the next day! A lot of our friends told us that when it comes to finding the right venue you “just know”. While looking for venues we noticed that a lot of them had potential but we had to use a little imagination to really see it. We had started losing hope that it would be something “we just knew” and something we would have to figure out. When we got to Harbor Lights we finally had the feeling everyone talked about. We didn’t really need imagination, because the venue itself was beautiful in every way we needed it to be. It has an incredible ceremony spot, beautiful photo opportunities and a reception space that has a classy, clean presentation. For us, the greatest thing about Harbor Lights ended up being the staff. Hannah and the rest of the team were helpful and patient. We always looked forward to our meetings with Hannah because of her great personality, while also providing the reassurance and guidance we needed with some difficult decisions. The bartenders and wait staff were personable with our guests as well as attentive and professional. And we can’t forget to mention how incredible Chef Ray’s meals were. It is in our biased opinion, the greatest meal that we’ve ever had at a wedding. It seemed as though once our day started Harbor Lights took control and made sure we enjoyed ourselves as much as possible.
