What do you love most about your job?
As a company, we are devoted to making the web a better source of health and healthcare information than it is now. We're also dedicated to helping healthcare professionals and health-related organizations meet their goals.
As an individual, I love the mix of science and art. Using data to make strategic decisions is an invigorating research puzzle -- and using words and images to carry out that strategy is creatively satisfying.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our company began when Rebecca, who had been an in-house SEO, was laid off because the business owners were retiring. "We couldn't have done this without you," her boss said. "There are lots of business owners who need skills like yours. You should go into business for yourself."
Rebecca started off as a freelance SEO copywriter, and the business grew into a full-service web firm.
