What makes a great website?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Conversions and Sales and are in your wallet. A great website marries the art and science of utilizing the internet not simply as a platform to showcase your wares or ideas, but a real time extension of yourself and your company to engage and generate Return on Investment.
It loads fast, offers plenty of engagement options, clearly lays out your Features and Benefits, incorporates testimonials either directly inserted or better yet, from third party sources like Facebook, Yelp, Google, Bing, etc. and fully utilizes all of the assets you've already paid for (photos, graphics, case studies, video, you name it). It's not just a platform for generating sales or building your list, but also something that you can be proud of and inspires your team to walk a little bit taller into that Chamber of Commerce social or upcoming sales call.
OPTIMIZATION is the core of everything we do. No sneaky tricks, just SUPERIOR attention to detail, constant evaluation, testing and correction, competitive analysis and solid use of assets for social media, content creation and search engine optimization are central to everything we do. NOTHING DOES JUST ONE THING!
Of course, the site MUST be responsive to the thousands of devices out there and varying screen sizes, user preferences and be easily "updatable" as new operating system versions and updates comes along.
And possibly most importantly, it needs to be so user friendly that you and your team can update, make easy changes without having to incur additional costs or delays in the middle of the night! We promise we can find better ways for you to spend your hard earned dollars with us for better results than "can you add Bob's email address to the Contact List" when we can just create videos and teach your team how to do it in house.
If you are smart, and have a forward thinking marketing view, you'll understand that this is an investment, and an ongoing one. It's not a one off purchase. You'll want a vendor/outsourced department to mirror your philosophy and make an investment in you as a client as well.

Do you have a handle on your current assets? Passwords? Graphics, videos, case studies, past press releases, an event schedule, testimonials, team bios, list of partners or certifications or associations/chambers, etc.
Do you need a shopping cart? How do you currently process payments?
What is your budget?
How do you intend to pay? Check, Credit Card, ACH, BitCoin, Cash, Trade?
What inspired you to start your own business?
It's a long story! But we started out with $50, a domain name and a good relationship with some important companies -- a printing company, the Chamber of Commerce (had to close 10 of their "dead" former members to get a free membership, but it wasn't hard -- turns out -- they just wanted someone to invite them personally to some event!), and a free couch to sleep on at Mom's place!
What happened after that is legend! Who knew you weren't supposed to try to optimize a WordPress 1.0 site by hard coding the core and the templates! WOW! Now we're in the SEO business by accident! We started our business for the same reason everyone does. They want freedom!
Freedom from a tyranical boss that just doesn't get his own product or job. Freedom from a shit paycheck. Freedom for long work hours with no payout or control. Freedom to do what we want. Freedom to coach little league baseball without getting fired. Freedom to CHOOSE which clients you take on. Freedom to do favors and be kind. Freedom to do things to help out our fellow humans. Freedom to exceed expectations without having to always have to bill when it's something cool and gives you a little ego boost for outshining the competition for our clients.
That's the gist of it -- and 12 years later the story gets better with book publishing, political campaigns, application creation and development, venture capital, crowdfunding and the constant joy of ever changing technology.

Every project we take on we treat as our own -- not just the project, but your money as well. Of course we'd like you to spend it all with us, but many times that's not the best solution for you and we care about getting the job done properly, so six months down the line and you need something we're just not the best at, we're going to find the best solution for you, even if it costs us money.
