Consistently great food. Â The steaks and salads are all outstanding and the service is excellent. Â If you like salads, the Chicken Waldorf is the size of a small moon and tastes great.

We had a small team dinner here one Thursday evening - my first time visiting. I was surprised at how packed the place was on a Thursday evening! We sat at a table by the end of the bar. Our server was personable and hilarious. We ordered a couple of appetizers to share - the fried crab and avocado and a Con Queso with pork and roasted peppers - both were absolutely delicious! Also ordered a glass of their Malbec. Also a nice wine!For my entree - I had the blackened redfish - it was cooked perfectly - I substituted green beans for the starch side it came with. RF is conveniently located under the SFA hotel. We were pleased with the food and customer service. We had their Queso Puerco to start and it was amazing. For main dishes we got the 12oz Rib eye and the Filet Mignon. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted great! We also ordered the mashed potatoes as a shareable side and that was more than enough to fill us up. I recommend this place for a nice, quite, white table cloth dinner. Shout out to our server Tracy! We had the Brunch today, buffet style on Sundays, including roasted turkey and prime rib. Rib was as expected. I had a wonderful salad with delicious tomatoes, along with asparagus. Table of 4 adults including tip comes to about $40.00 each with non-alcoholic drinks. The food was delicious and there were many, many, offerings. Both lunch and breakfast fare. Service was very good. Â The issue I have is there were a lot of fruit flies, one for every plate. I spotted them in the buffet line and knew there would be a problem throughout the restaurant. Everyone waving hands in the restaurant to flush them away. Â May I suggest cleaning the floor drains with steam cleaner, and run fans overnight to dry any wet areas. This place was cute. Definitely an older crowd the food was good but kind of gland they do have a lot to choose from and the drinks were amazing I would recommend this place for a quiet evening but make sure you make reservations because it does fill up quickly the staff and the service were phenomenal

My boyfriend and I went to ATX Cocina last night for my 30th birthday and I couldn’t have made a better choice on a restaurant. The food was fantastic- we shared the empeñadas, pork belly tacos, and tuna to start. We got the Barbacoa and verduras to share as the main entree. Everything was out of this world! Amazing flavors and everything was very uniquely prepared. We had just arrived in Austin 2 hours before and talk about amazing first impression! Monique, our server, made all the wonderful food recommendations, brought two glasses of champagne to do a toast for my birthday and at the end of the meal, brought me a birthday card signed by the staff along with delicious chocolate dessert. My husband and I love Roaring Fork! They have an awesome happy hour that runs till 7pm, and hour longer than many of the restaurants around here. Green chili pork and their huckleberry margaritas are a must!! The happy hour burger is huge. We typically sit in the bar area which is a little noisier than the back dining room, but it's ok with us because the atmosphere is fun and bustling. The bartenders are great! Quick to get your order and keep a drink in your hand. The only, only thing I could complain about is that it does get quite busy during happy hour. Great guacamole and chips! Originally the only available table was outside when I booked online, but upon arrival the hostess asked us if we would like to sit inside because they had an opening. Such a great experience! Fantastic margarita suggestions by our waitress, I had the ATX with a Grand Mariner floater. The only suggestion I would add would be to possibly have a sign next on the ground or next to the booth that says Step Down or Please Watch Your Step. The food and service never disappoint. In particular, the green chili mac and cheese is divine! If they have the fruit pie, you must try it.
