I worked at GT Security a couple years ago as an outside sales guy. Overall, it was a somewhat positive experience, but felt like much more could of been done accomplished before I was let go. With that being said, they do a good job of selecting their officers, have a kickass ops manager, and do right by their employees. Most companies would do well for themselves to fire their old security company and hire these guys. Pros: TBH, the owner was one of the coolest and most interesting ppl I've ever met. He had stories for days and was just very nice, and down to earth person. They always paid on time, even if it came out of their own pockets.... which I always respected. They are honest ppl, and paid me a commission I earned even after I left, (which they didn't have to do, but was the RIGHT thing to do). To me, that shows a lot of integrity. Cons: As a sales guy, they didn't give much in terms of assistance developing leads, had no CMS or sales software. However, it is a pretty cuthroat business anyways with razor thin margins. It often felt like you were on your own with very little support from the company. They would sometimes put me in awkward positions with clients and didn't seem to grasp, (or care) how difficult it was to develop and nurture these relationships with clients. For instance a couple of clients, I still do business with albeit in an ENTIRELY different industry, (electrical work), but that relationship transcended whatever company I was working for. Anyhow, they are a good company, but could definitely benefit from changing a few things up and giving their sales guys some more tools to work with, (if they haven't already). More...

My personal experience working for GT has been nothing but positive. Owners stay engaged on a personal level with everyone and genuinely care about their employees. They go to bat for their employees when a client makes accusations about an employee and always vet the claims and have the employees back when they are unfounded claims which I can say personally they do. GT investigation company is the best company we are dealing with so far. Layla, The owner, is amiable and understanding.
She is willing to help us even though she knows we have no money to pay for her. She said I know you're in a terrible situation, so you don't have to worry about paying for me.
Also, Usually, it takes time to find the scammer’s information, but because she knows I needed data as soon as possible, Layla went above and beyond her duties to help me find the information about the bad guys as soon as the next day. Even though the information that she provided was not enough to find the bad guys but Layla showed me her sympathy and was willing to help without any demands. If you need anything investigated, come to this place. I spoke with Lally in the morning and she was able to see me within three hours.
She is professional, knowledgeable and experienced. She took me seriously, answered all my questions and wasn’t trying to sell me anything that she didn’t think I needed.

Company as far as the Houston branch looks Professional and on point. San Antonio branch however is questionable. They dnt treat their employees with respect especially ones that been in the security game awhile. .This guy running it needs to be checked by the owners of this company or least be overseen by someone who knows what they are doing. Jim was soo biased to me. I stopped my other job just to work for him when he needed us the most. A certain lady he appointed as supervisor who fought with any Lady that came to work there lied to him because she could not face me with her nonsense. Me and my husband used one car to work so I was wondering why Jim believed her lies that I left my post while my husband was still there. I was shocked when he was not ready to listen to my side of the story and also didn't give a second taught as to why she was fighting any lady he hired . Anyway, its all good. I had a different company so I never stayed home a day. I see him replying but his reply is all lies. He doesn't even remember me. Who escorted me? I was in my house that you called me not to return to the post in the evening. Your soo called supervisor had recliner that she was bringing to the post every night to sleep in. Now you're accusing my husband too??? This shows how bias you are. Why did all the women stop working there if that lady that lied on me was innocent? Its always a nerve wrecking expereince calling a PI. However, i spoke with Lally who is an absolute sweetheart. My husband was making my life hell and my attorney needed me to find a PI that would provide evidence to help with our divorce. GT had concrete evidence within 72 hours. From their, they released everything to my attorney upon my request and it helped us a lot. Unlike others, their process are reasonable and they customer service is top notch. More...
