When I decided I wanted to go to Hawaii for my birthday I was clueless where to start. Â I Googled "travel agent" & came upon Green's Travel. Â I was a little leery at first using someone who was on the other side of the country & doing everything through email, but after reading reviews & doing some research I decided I would give it a shot. Â So glad I did! Â Derick booked the flights, hotels & rental cars. Â It was so nice not to have to worry about any of that. Derick put together the first vacation I've had in years. It's been such a great experience. I was not quite ready to book when I contacted him, and he got me no fewer than 3 quotes as I made up my mind. During the vacation "shopping" period, he never made me feel pressured, he just got the next quote. Well what can I say. Greens travel is hands down the best. Derek is your right hand man in any sort of travel trip you could ever possibly imagine on taking. My very first trip I took with his help was a trip that him and my friend planned for her 22nd birthday. Derek planned out for us a 9 or so day train trip across the United States from San Francisco to New York with a flight back home to San Diego. We stayed in various cities along the way. All in extremely nice hotels. The nightly rate for  the hotel we stayed in Chicago for the two nights we were there was about 80% of what we paid for two flight 5 hotels, his fee, and train tickets. No possible way that trip would have been possible without his help.The second trip in which Derek helped me out in was sadly not a trip for me but for my sister and my cousin. It was a graduation gift for the two of them as they were both graduating at the same time. Any who, he was able to book us a I believe 5 day trip to New York for the two of them at an insanely cheap rate. Again no way it could have been possible for me alone to find anything remotely close to what he was able to get for us.The third and most recent trip was a last minute weekend trip to LA for my girlfriend and I. I was scrambled and I couldn't make my mind up as to what I wanted nor for how long. Derek was extremely helpful but above all friendly and patient with me. He was able to book me a last minute hotel in the heart Hollywood while saving me hundreds of dollars.I don't think I could nor will I ever take a trip or book a trip for anyone else without Derek's expertise and killer deals. He is extremely friendly, checks up on you while you're on your trip, plus always has great tips and advice for things to do in where ever it is you're staying at. Omg! What can I say Derick is like the Superman of travel! He definitely needs a cape if he doesn't already own one. Â I just started a new job and my husbands birthday is always a big deal. .I make it extra special every year and this year so much has happened and planning got away from me. Â I asked folks for referrals and my family and friends were dragging their feet with names so I took matters into my own hands and did a google search and "eureka" I came across this wonderful site and Derick immediately replied and listened to all my wants and concerns and exceeded all my expectations and I am not easy to work with but he was patient and not pushy and gave me several options and all the options were fantastic..there was nothing low budget or second rate. Â The end result was magnificent! My husband is going to be over the moon because I already am. Â I couldn't have planned this by myself....I just couldn't. Â I can't wait till next month....and did I mention this is pretty much a last minute trip? Derick was not at all concerned or dazed by that fact. Derick has the patience of a SAINT and he must have been raised and surrounded by women bc he knows how to deal with a premenstrual female with such finesse! Lol!!He has worked around the clock to get what I want and has shown impressive leadership skills and qualities - I would hire this man to manage my life if I could! This was easily the best experience I could've asked for! My roommates and I were trying to create a dream trip to Japan and were at a complete loss trying to do it ourselves. We entertained the idea of an agent and then found Green's Travel. The reviews were positive enough, but we weren't aware communication would be through Yelp, phone, email, etc. Â I really thought we needed to see someone face-to-face to hammer out the details and get all the things from our insane wish list down. Derick was soooooo much help!!! I travel a lot of work so I'm always looking for package deals, and its time consuming. I finally decided to look into finding a travel agent and came across Derick's travel site. I called him up, left a voicemail, and he got back to me in less than 20 minutes! After a few short texts of basic trip information, he found me a great deal, about 300$ under my budget. So awesome! Thanks so much for booking our awesome Hawaiian vacation! I originally was planning to book a huge resort but Derrick recommended that I choose a hotel elsewhere as the big one is not worth it. I'm so glad I took his advice and we ended up at The Royal Hawaiian! It was an amazing hotel on the beach and felt so relaxing! Started using Greens travel a little over a yr ago and I'll never travel again without Derek's help! I travel often for business and all I do is either call or text Derek and BAM ! A couple minutes later I have air/hotel and car taken care of ! Minutes ! Just minutes later ! We've been using Derek and Green's Travel for over a year now. While planning our wedding, we decided that we should use a travel agent to help us book our honeymoon, one less thing to plan. Not sure how my wife found Green's travel, but i'm glad we did. Derek booked us a gorgeous stay in Zihuatanejo in Mexico, and took care of air travel too. It was genuinely one of the best vacations either of us have ever been on. Since then, Green's Travel has helped us book weekend trips to Las Vegas and spontaneous trips to Seattle. This was the first time I "hired" someone from reviews on-line and never meeting in person. Derick was great with the planning of our DC/Philly trip. As he will tell you, we were sooo very nervous going this route, but he was patient and answered all my questions. The hotels he picked for both cities were in a fantastic location. Having never used a travel agent before I didn't quite know what to expect, but Green's travel went above and beyond anything I could have hoped in planning our honeymoon to Hawaii! When I first spoke with Derick (about 9 months out) I gave him loose plans I had in mind, and he completely ran with it. Within a couple days he had outlined an extensive email with all the research he had done for every island in regards to hotel pricing, flights, transportation, activities, etc ..you could imagine how invaluable this was to a bride trying to plan a wedding at the time! Not only did it eliminate the need for me to do all the researching, but the discounted rates we received by booking through Green's Travel were amazing! Because of the savings gained by using this agency, in the end we were able to stay at all 5 star resorts! I do want to point out that prior to making our final decision on everything, I did email Derick many times with questions, different dates/islands, and every time he promptly got back to me with even more information/cost scenarios - many times he would even email me back on weekends!! Once all the plans were finalized, Derick took care of all of the booking, and payment was made easily over the phone. He put together an itinerary for us, and even notified the resorts that we were coming for our honeymoon, which gained some perks along the way :) While on the honeymoon, we had a slight issue with one of the resorts trying to charge us additional fees, but Derick took care of it right away! I will start this off by saying that I don't use travel agents ever. Â I usually use a third party site like Expedia or deal directly with the hotel that I want to stay at. Â I had a trip planned for San Francisco so I decided to give Green's Travel a try just to see how the rates were. Â I have to say that I'm really glad I did.The process was extremely simple. Â I gave Derrick an approximate price that I wanted to spend and the area that wanted to be near and he did the rest. Â He got back to very quickly with some choices and they were all great. Â He also gave me his opinion on which one he thought was the best. Â He was also very knowledgable about the area and told me about any additional cost (i.e. parking and tolls)Payment was quick and easy and was cheaper than anything that I could find on any third party site. Â The room was amazing. Â It had all the amenities I was expecting and even some I wasn't. Â The location of the hotel was great also. Â Easy access to get anywhere I needed to go and quick access to restaurants also. Â The room was easily double the price I paid.So in conclusion I will definitely say give Green's Travel a try. Green's Travel really hooked me with a great Hotel in Las Vegas at a incredible price. When he first mentioned the price I honestly didn't believe him, but he threw out the "Green Guarantee", he delivered. Derick whom is the Owner of Green's Travel I believe got me the Aria Resort & Spa for about $240...2 nights even including those crazy resort fees. It was my first time hiring him so I did some research to double check his figures, I couldn't find Aria for less than $450 for the same nights anywhere, his "Green Guarantee" is legit. (I've booked with him 3x more now, Miami FL, Denver CO, San Diego CA...saving me hundreds) Once booked he sent over a simple to read itinerary within minutes. He even texted me the weather forecast for Vegas and offered recommendations for restaurants and things to do.
