What do you love most about your job?
The most enjoyable aspect of my work is educating individuals and having them obtain a clear understanding of their finances and how certain events or decisions potentially impact their goals. Also, I truly enjoy the sense of relief and happiness my clients express after being set on the correct path to achieving and maintaining their financial goals through strategic planning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began this company my sophomore year in college as a result of my own taxes being improperly or rather incompletely prepared by one of the leading tax preparation companies. I initially was told I had owed the IRS $152. However, after researching qualified deductions, particularly related to school expenses, I was actually due a refund of about $2,500. I was troubled at the idea that there was so many other people that had been in my situation many of which did not get a favorable outcome. As a result, I decided to start a company that would seek to go the extra mile in assisting individuals in retaining more of their earned income and meeting their financial goals.
