Awesome personal trainer! Tell him what you want out of your work out and he'll go above and beyond. I initially reached out to John looking for a good boxing work out to get some serious cardio in during the week, but with his expertise, it has turned into learning the ins and outs of boxing as well as picking up extremely useful self-defense skills. You can tell he loves what he does by the effort and hard work he puts into making sure YOU are happy at the end of your work out. All in all, great guy. Go see him! More...

I've been doing distance training with John for at least a couple of years, and I highly recommend him. I was a total beginner (and a begrudging one at that) when we started, and he's never pushed me further than my body could go.
Any time I told him that I couldn't do a move, he was quick to give me a substitute. Note I said substitute. Saying you can't do something isn't an excuse for a down day.
He helps me find new equipment by sending me shopping links and checking out the products I find. When I wanted a local boxing gym, he reviewed websites and trainers with me. When I want to try working on my posture or upping my cardio, he's right there with suggestions and modifications to my plan to help me succeed.
When I wanted to quit, he encouraged me to keep going. When I decided to quit, he graciously let me go. When I wanted to start working with him again, he welcomed me back. John is never anything but helpful and kind. If you put in the effort, he'll be with you every step of the way.
