It was my first time going, and it was definitely different than what I expected; in a good way of course. The only thing I didn't care for was the fact that I had to pay cash, I wasn't aware of it being cash only, I try to stay away from places like that. Otherwise I had a good time.

Very accommodating. Extremely nice. Some really funny comedians & a couple not so funny. The host was great - very funny.. . He made the show. Only issue - one segment got a little too wild for my taste. More...

This is a great venue. It's intimate; just a small lobby, theater and bathroom. There isn't any room for them to hold all the people for the next show in the lobby which is why you wait outside. You are sat in the order in which you are in line so getting there early and drinking a beer while waiting in line is recommended. Truly great venue although the quality of comedy can sometimes be hit or miss as you are paying $12 for a show. I'll say I've never left without laughing but I have been to a show where the warm ups were funnier than the headliner. No big deal to me I still enjoyed my night out. It's BYO but there's a spot across the street that sells beer to go. Great date night!! More...

Such a hidden gem in Philadelphia. So glad I decided to stop by on a whim and see a show. Prices were incredibly reasonable ($12-$15), performers were hilarious with just the right mix of vulgar and dark humor. The general atmosphere is so laid back and welcoming, which makes this a special place. More...

Great intimate venue. We saw comedian Johnny Pemberton there and had a fantastic time. We were able to hear and see from where we were sitting and it's BYOB. Staff working there was super helpful and welcoming. No dress code or 1 drink minimum required. We lined up outside about 15 minutes before doors opened and were able to go in, get our ticket verified and hand stamped then get back online outside then able to go right to our seats once doors did open. Seats are first come first serve. Great organized system. There are some snacks, beers, waters/soda for sale along with merch. This is our 2nd time going here and we will definitely make the drive down from NJ again. Thank you Good Good Comedy Theatre! More...

Was in town visiting a friend and we though, $12 for a comedy show + a beer, what do we have to lose? Â The show started at 7, so we go there around 6:45pm, and there was a short line outside. Â We were instructed to first go inside to show our tickets, and get our hands marked. Â We then went back outside to wait until they let us all in. Â They let us all in around 7, and handed us our can of beer on the way in (not sure what the brand was, but it was cheap and decent). Â The theatre is pretty small 4 seats on each side of the aisle and probably 10 rows of seats. Â There were 3 comedians scheduled, but 1 cancelled at the last minute so we only saw 2. Â But they were both pretty funny, lots of laughs from the audience and no awkwardness. Â Overall worth it! More...

This comedy theater is a great place to find new and experimental comedic voices taking risks and pushing the art form of comedy. I spent a week in Philadelphia and I went there 3 times, each time I saw a different show, sketch comedy, standup and improv! Each show made me double over laughing. The staff is incredibly helpful, the facilities are impeccably clean and the venue is an intimate black box setup with perfect visibility in any seat. What a tremendous place that supports live comedy. I would definitely come back here on my next trip to Philadelphia! For sure the highlight of my trip! More...

A small theatre with a dedicated staff. The limited number of seats makes for a better show. You can hear performers really well. Instead of feeling claustrophobic, the physical closeness of those sitting around you enhances the enjoyment - laughs are louder, the atmosphere is more exciting. The only downside to the space is that there is only one bathroom in the whole place. Just one. The line to use it can get long at the end of shows, so it might be better to just leave and go when you get home or you next stop. More...

I highly recommend you see a show at this gem of a theater. I came to see Guy Branum on a Saturday night. The theater is small but the crowd is great and it gives a more intimate feel. The place is BYOB (which also means you have to bring your own cup). They also sell some beer & snacks in the lobby. There are a bunch of good restaurants walking distance for before or after the dinner as well. More...

This was a first at this improv theatre. First of all shout out to anyone having the talent to just jump on stage and perform an improvisation. If you are looking for a professional stand up act then this place may not be for you but otherwise, if your cup of tea is people doing "out of the box" performance, then you most likely will enjoy it.
