We’ve been living in this community for 7 months now and are very happy with our decision! Building staff is super friendly - a nice change from our previous NYC rental experience.
Very central to everything, and amazing Space Needle views. We love being able to walk thru city center for weekend events and having lots of grass for our pup.
Pros:
- Shannon, the assistant manager, is super friendly and helpful. She’s our pup’s BFF and he always pulls to her office to say hello for treats and scratches!
- Chris, the maintenance supervisor, is also very friendly and responsive. He’s always on top of our service requests and updates us. He gives awesome food recommendations too! Ronnell the porter is also very friendly and is up early to take care of the building.
- Amenities. The rooftop is nice and we like to rent out the lounge when we have guests over.
- Package locker is very convenient. No need to only pickup packages during business hours
Cons:
- Parking spaces are tight and the garage has had two break ins since we’ve moved in
- McDonald’s facing side can be noisy at night. Loud Jerry Springer type drama, racing, dumpster trucks at 2am, etc

Love the management here, they're super friendly, attentive and all round fun people. Chelsea and Phil are always finding creative ways to get residents together; whether it's a fitness class, brunch, pizza and vinyl evenings! More...

Awesome building. If you are looking for a place in the heart of Seattle, this is the spot. Live right under the space needle! The management in this building is the most attentive of any place I have ever rented. They really care about the tenants and their experience here. The building is really nice, clean and modern and they offer work / live spaces! I would recommend taking a look and seeing the place for yourself. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There are no secrets to taking great photographs, just a fundamental knowledge of your camera, gear, lighting, composition, color theory, post processing, editing software, user experience, client experience, management, and everything else it takes to run a business!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is being photographed?
What is the concept?
Where will the photo be seen?
What size images are needed?
When do files need to be delivered?
What format would the client like?
What is the budget?
What do you love most about your job?
I love so many things about being a freelance commercial photographer but mostly I love being creative.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Who doesn’t want to work for themselves? I get to shoot from my live/work space and be near my family for most of the month. I often travel for work, shooting mostly in NYC.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over 11 years experience shooting for major corporations (including Starbucks, Amazon, Target, Eddie Bauer, Filson, etc. See my website for a full client list.) and small companies alike. I shoot a range of still life including hard goods, soft goods and an emphasis on food. I shoot and retouch all of my own images and can produce/manage any shoot offered. I have my own studio on 5th Ave N. In Seattle.
