I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible Natalie is. From our first meeting to our send-off, she consistently emanated a balanced vibe of professional and personable. My husband and I had 100% confidence in her as our coordinator, and if she was ever overwhelmed during the planning process, we will never know. Due to our large families and mostly-local friends, our wedding had upwards of 200 guests. With that many people a lot could go wrong, but (as far as I know), it was seamless because of Natalie! Everyone in our wedding party commented on how well she ran the show during the rehearsal and on the big day. She advocated for us when we had some communication issues with our venue, and she asked us all the questions we didn’t know we had to contemplate well ahead of time so that we could be worry-free in the days leading up to the wedding. I probably will never know just how much work went into making it all come together; I guess that’s the mark of a brilliant event coordinator!
Oh, and on top of her planning skills, she is an incredible designer and florist. I don't have much in the way of design vocabulary, so I didn't offer much direction, but she figured me out to a T and put together the most incredible ceremony flowers.

Natalie was our day-of coordinator for our July 2018 wedding. Natalie is super down to earth and personable and was a pleasure to work with! During our coordination meetings, she worked with us to get every detail of our wedding day timeline planned out, and she thought of all the little things we would have missed! Natalie also worked seamlessly with our reception venue coordinator and was always quick to respond to all our questions/emails. Week of wedding Natalie took care of the final coordination with our vendors to make the week of our wedding a breeze. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly; we were able to really enjoy the day and not have to worry about any of the details or logistics. We had an amazing time at our wedding, and know we have Natalie to thank for that! After the wedding, we got so many compliments from our friends and family who said how wonderful Natalie was and how great it was to have her leadership throughout the day. Without a doubt the smartest decision we made when planning out wedding was hiring Natalie. At first the idea of hiring a wedding planner sounded way to fancy for what we were going for, but I shudder at the idea we almost did this without her help. She was so organized throughout the entire process and honestly made planning a wedding feel easy. Plenty of times throughout this process I turned to my husband and said, can you imagine doing this on our own. Going into planning a wedding for nearly all out-of-town guests, my husband and I wanted to strike a balance between everything feeling relaxed, intimate, and very PNW while also impressing everyone who traveled so far to be there. Natalie and her team totally delivered and we are so happy to have worked with her! She helped us strike that balance between traditional elements and what felt comfortable for us while giving us incredible ideas along the way. She is enthusiastic, organized, and so much fun to work with leading up to the event and day-of. We hired Natalie to be our day-of coordinator as well as style and design our wedding. She was flexible in accommodating elements that we wanted to do ourselves and listened closely to our requests. The result was breathtaking. On the day of, as soon as I saw my bouquet I squealed in delight and all of my nerves for the day were calmed! We had requested that live plants be integrated into the design so that our flowers would live beyond one day. Natalie is the BEST. That's all you need to know, really. We had the amazing luck of working with her for full planning and day-of coordination, and she has turned us from planner-skeptics to enthusiastic planner evangelists. But not all planners are created equal, so here's why you should go with her…

1) She's super knowledgeable. Whether you know what you want or have no idea, she has the experience to tell you not only what's doable but also what's smart. She'll make a timeline and a floorplan that puts other planners to shame, and has all kinds of great connections to vendors too.

2) She's patient and amazing. We were super high-stress and had a crazy schedule, and she was completely unfazed. She understood us and helped me (Typa A, OCD traits, anxious) and my husband (scatter brained, last-minute procrastinator/improviser) both feel relaxed and confident about our wedding and all the million pieces. She’s also very calm, straightforward, super efficient + on top of it, and not at all pushy or overly gush-y.

3) She's SO ORGANIZED. Every time I thought we might have forgotten something, she had thought of it weeks/months ago. And come up with a backup plan. Our family, wedding party, and guests all felt like the entire day flowed super smoothly and it was because of her and her team!

4) She's creative and fun. We had the super weird theme of "Kate Spade rides the New York subway while reading Harry Potter" and she absolutely NAILED IT! She made an amazing flower/balloon arrangement for our ceremony backdrop and set everything up spectacularly. She is super talented!!!

5) She also helped us find great money-saving opportunities and wisely advised us on when it was worthwhile to pay a bit more. This is also why we feel like we ultimately saved money and saved SO MUCH STRESS by hiring Natalie! Sure, you can find a cheaper planner...but having been to and been part of a bunch of weddings lately, I can definitely say that she is top notch and 300% worth every penny.

Natalie was an absolutely incredible day-of wedding coordinator, and our wedding day wouldn't have been nearly as successful without her. She kept everything running smoothly, was flexible with our meetings, and made our wedding stress-free.

Before the wedding itself, Natalie had great suggestions for vendors and was very organized. We also loved how she kept the day's schedule up to date, and coordinated with our vendors so we never had to worry about it. She walked us through our day-of timeline on more than one occasion, made sure we were comfortable with it, and also handed out copies to our wedding party the night before so everyone was on the same page.

We’d absolutely recommend Natalie for anyone looking for a wedding coordinator. We got so many compliments from our friends, family, and other vendors saying how easy Natalie was to work with, and how friendly she was. We would recommend Natalie in a heartbeat!

There was so much we absolutely loved about our wedding day and Natalie made it all happen! Please do not plan a wedding without hiring her. She has so much knowledge of the entire planning process and everyone in the industry. She was immensely helpful in coming up with creative ways to make the day reflect our relationship rather than sticking with the same old traditions. Natalie spoke our language - she was tech savvy, a little nerdy, and all heart. Throughout the almost year we worked together to plan the Halloween wedding of my dreams, I never once felt pressured, or misunderstood, and we firmly believe that hiring Natalie saved us more money than she cost. All her recommended vendors were easy to get along with, and fantastic. On the day of the wedding, I felt more relaxed than I thought was possible, and had the best day. We met with Natalie and instantly knew we wanted to work with her.  She was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process-- she got back to us very quickly for any questions or clarifications. Natalie is hands down the best money you could possibly spend on your wedding. We hired Natalie for day of coordination and flowers, but she did so, so much more for us.

As your day of coordinator, she's a wealth of knowledge. We were a bit overwhelmed with just the logistics of how you're supposed to run a wedding (okay, we know you need to have food, probably music, etc), but she broke down the whole day (and months leading up to it) into todos and fill in the blanks for all the details we needed to cover. As the day of coordinator, we did most of the major planning (the picking and choosing) on our end, but she makes sure you stay on top of things and have all the right details. From that, Natalie put together (seriously, months in advance of the wedding) a minute by minute breakdown of the day. This became our bible and planning because a pretty easy game of fill in the blanks.

The day of the wedding, thanks to Natalie, we truly just sat back and enjoyed the day. Natalie and her assistants were at the venue from setup to tear down. She worked with all our major venders, particularly our amazing photographers, to communicate the schedule, and everyone of our venders worked together to just pass us from event to event throughout the day. We got to sit back sipping celebratory beers and champagne before the ceremony and just relax. After the ceremony, we turned around to find drinks and food right there waiting for us. All night, Natalie made sure we were being well fed and hydrated, and overall just having a great time.

In addition to day of coordination, we also worked with Natalie for our florals. With just a few glances via pinterest, she immediately grabbed our aesthetic and created incredible bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony backdrops. She was also amazing in working with our budget. We didn't have a huge floral budget, but you'd never guess that based on how beautiful everything was!!

Natalie is the best! She did day-of coordination and some kickass flowers and greenery for our April 29th brunch wedding. Working with her was a breeze and she struck the perfect balance between helping us make decisions on our own so that our day was everything we could imagine, and running the show so that we could sit back and focus on getting married. She was a pro at writing the timeline so that things ran smoothly, taking care of set-up and teardown, and coordinating with other vendors so that everyone was on the same page and everything went smoothly. She managed things that we would have never thought of, like making sure vendors had time to eat, packing up all of our leftover food and decorations to go home with us, and moving the party between rooms for ceremony / cocktail hour / brunch and reception so that we didn't even have to lift a finger. And she ran with our very loose description of "pansy colors, and maybe some green?" - she absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for and the flowers and greenery were beautiful, both at the wedding and at our house for the next few weeks. We wish there was a 6th or 7th star for Natalie. She went above and beyond in coordinating our wedding and the day would never have been what it was without her help. My wife and I had a good idea of what we wanted to accomplish with our wedding and after 9 months of planning we quickly realized we may be in over our head. She was always available for help, replied to all our crazy 1am emails and saved us from more than a couple missteps. Oh my gosh. What would we have done without Natalie!? Hire her. Seriously. It was the best decision we made during the whole insane wedding process. She is very calm, focused, and organized. She isn’t a super effusive bubbly type of person, which I was very thankful for- it is nice to have a smart, focused person helping you through planning, and I think our vendors took her seriously. She thinks of details I never would have thought of. She emailed vendors directly to ask for clarification on things that I never would have figured out how to ask. She is polite, yet firm with vendors- and listened really well to us. Natalie was recommended to us by our fantastic photographer, Affinity Photography, and I am so glad that we went with their suggestion. I can't even imagine how we would have pulled off our wedding without her. We originally only wanted her to manage the day-of coordination, but after looking through her website's portfolio and speaking with her early on about her extra services, we also had her handle our floral and some decoration (ceremony arch, table centerpieces with our books and coffee mugs). She took our request for rustic/simple/classic and displayed it beautifully. I had shown her some example images of what I had in mind, but seeing it come to reality the day of still surprised and delighted me.

We communicated mostly by email and phone, though we did meet a few times: first when we expressed our interest in her, later again mid-way to our date to go over our vision for decor, the timeline, and our vendor list, and again on site to show her the space. In the few months leading up to the wedding, she really amped up her involvement despite the "day-of" designation--if I didn't like control so much, I would have been more than happy to have her handle everything! I absolutely trusted beforehand that our day would go smoothly, and it did. Guests at our wedding told us later that they had never been to a wedding so on schedule and seamless from one section to the next. There was never an awkward waiting period. We always knew where we needed to be and what was happening next. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough! If I ever need to plan any other sort of large dinner or party, she will definitely be my first contact.

Let us start by saying: We love Natalie, the Ginger Bee! She is organized, thoughtful, has great vendor relationships, and gets stuff done.

We hired Ginger Bee to be our Day of Coordinator in 2015 for our wedding in July 2016. After working in the nonprofit sector and executing large galas, we knew that a Day of Coordinator would be needed. And Natalie exceeded our expectations in fulfilling this role.

Natalie was our advocate from the moment we signed the contract. Before the wedding she sent us information about Wedding Expos and accessory tips. She recommended killer vendor suggestions (like our DJ who EVERYONE loved), and offered pitch perfect suggestions for our wedding and was quick to respond to our queries over email and texts.

Natalie took the lead on constructing our wedding timeline, helped with the decorations and set up, and loaded our parents’ mini-van at the end of the night. She worked with our vendors prior to and throughout the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page. She attended our rehearsal walkthrough and made sure our vision was executed perfectly the day-of. She took initiative in making executive decisions when things were unclear or ambiguous and did everything with grace and a smile. She was the first one at the venue on our wedding day and the last one to leave.

Hire Natalie. It will be the best money you’ll spend on your wedding. This is the biggest, most high stakes party you’ll ever throw in your life, so you should hire the woman who will make it run smoothly and make it look effortless. Hire Natalie. Seriously, why are you still reading this review?

Natalie did full planning and coordination for our wedding in July in West Seattle. Throughout the process Natalie was open to our ideas and had great ideas to share. All of the vendors she helped select were great to work with. From the officiant, to the DJ to our photo booth, we got so many compliments on their work. Natalie uses an online portal to communicate (in addition to phone, emails, and meetings) which really helped to keep me organized on what needed to be done next. And in planning our wedding from afar, Natalie made sure we had everything covered. I was planning my destination wedding to Seattle from Texas and Natalie helped me with the design process. Natalie was professional, easy to work with, very responsive and made the whole design process seem less stressful for me. Natalie was the BEST day-of coordinator we could have possibly imagined!! She was so responsive to e-mail (and she always had an automatic reply in case she wasn't able to get back to us right away). The service she provided we feel went above and beyond what we expected and our contract price. We had 2 face-to-face meetings, and she did one site visit where she talked to our venue event manager. Each meeting was super productive and she brought up questions that I never would have thought to ask! She was SO awesome at our rehearsal- she lead well and commanded attention without being bossy or annoying. :) She was super friendly and our wedding party loved her. Before our wedding, she reached out to all of our vendors, even confirming/sorting out arrival times. On the BIG day, Natalie was there early to set up everything. We had a couple glitches that she sorted out brilliantly (like getting extra extensions for ceiling lighting, sewing on a button, fixing a corsage). She did so many things in the background I'm sure we didn't even realize! She was always a short distance away in case we needed her, but definitely in the background so we could enjoy everything. There were some small things she did that really stood out. She brought up the florals from our reception and decorated our honeymoon suite!! Such a beautiful sight to walk into. :) She also handled receiving and mailing back the linens we rented, and something happened to our dessert table rental, and she covered the cost! Natalie was a JOY to work with- always enthusiastic and excited about our big day. We cannot recommend Natalie with Ginger Bee Events & Planning highly enough! From the very beginning she was fun to work with, creative, flexible and genuinely excited to be a part of our event. She made planning fun and took the stress out of it so we could enjoy ourselves and focus on the wedding itself. Her creative eye and attention to detail really showed through as every element of the design was thoughtful and just what we'd always wanted. She helped me to brainstorm design elements I hadn't thought of and was quick to change something if I made a last minute decision. Due to weather we also had to change our venue the week before the wedding and Natalie handled all the additional rentals, logistics and coordination with a smile on her face. On top of all of that, Natalie is so much fun you'll want her as your friend long after the event is over! Thank you, thank you, thank you Natalie!!! More...

Natalie was everything we could ever ask for in a wedding planner/coordinator. Our wedding (7-17-15) was executed perfectly with all hiccups quickly resolved before any disruption. It was the single best day of our lives thanks in large part Natalie/Ginger-bee. We were so lucky to find Gingerbee Events! Natalie took care of each and every little detail for our destination wedding. It was as if we went on a beautiful vacation with our friends and family, and then were married as well. Natalie was extremely well organized, a great communicator, and really fosters collaboration with whomever she works with. There is no doubt in my mind that Natalie was an integral part of what made our wedding go off so smoothly. She is organized, involved, and on top of everything. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was always a phone call, or email away, and very quick to respond.

She was my "Day of Coordinator," and made sure that people were where they needed to be, when they needed to be there, and we stuck to my event timeline as close as life allows. (Which, with Natalie's expertise, was pretty dang close!)

Her process leading up to the wedding was well thought out, and organized. She had answers to all my questions, and was ready with suggestions for things I hadn't even thought of. Her energy is relaxed, and confident, which really helped keep me level during all the day-of crazy! (Crazy in a good way, not catastrophic).

I highly recommend Natalie for any, and all of your planning needs. She's spectacular.

Simply not enough superlatives to describe how Dee and I feel about Natalie. We felt that we didn’t need a planner. Some friends highly suggested we at least talk to a coordinator. As soon as we met Natalie, we knew we wanted to work with her.
At first meet, she greeted us with huge hugs/smiles, which was refreshing. We thought we were off to a good start, but Natalie had lots of helpful tips. Although she was always available by call or text, we loved being able to primarily work through Email/Google Drive.
The three of us met a few times throughout the year. As time went on, our stress level continued to drop. We wrapped up everything a week before, and cruised into the rehearsal. We’ve heard stories of others scrambling up the last minute, but Natalie made sure we did it right!
On the big day, she coordinated the venue setup, which is pretty bare; but after an hour, it turned out amazing. When Dee showed up right before the ceremony, she was speechless as her vision was painted perfectly!
Throughout the day, we did not worry about anything. Natalie’s detailed timeline and coordination with all of the vendors outlined our day. We were cued what to do and when. Wedding photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, etc. We were able to enjoy it all, while also making sure we checked off things that were “required” by our families.
We heard that 2 of the biggest things that get missed on wedding days is that the Bride/Groom don’t eat and don’t get time for themselves. That was definitely. We ate so much, that we didn’t even make it through half of the 10 courses! We had many chances to reflect on the day and talk to each other. It was truly an amazing day in every aspect, and would not change anything!
It’s crazy to plan so much for one day. A year seems so long, but it goes by so fast. A day that started at 8am and ended at 1am, long day, right? Flew by so fast, but only because Natalie’s organization, vision, and touch made it the best day of Dee and my lives.

There are simply not enough superlatives to describe how Dee and I feel about Natalie. Dee and I are pretty organized people, and felt that with plenty of time to plan a wedding, we didn’t need a wedding planner of any kind. After talking to some friends, they highly suggested we at least talk to a coordinator. As soon as we met Natalie, we knew she was who we wanted to work with. At our very first meeting, she greeted us with great big hugs and smiles, which we are really big fans of. Dee and I thought we had everything planned out pretty well, but Natalie had all kinds of tips, both big and small, that we never thought of. Being an engineer and very hip with it, she works with Google spreadsheets and Email, which I instantly knew we were going to work well together. Although she was always available by call or text, I loved being able to document everything through Email and our Google Drive. The three of us met a few times over the course of a year or so to plan for the big day. As we built out all of the decorative plans and timeline, Dee and my stress level dropped lower and lower. Leading up to the wedding, we pretty much wrapped up everything a week before the wedding and cruised into the wedding rehearsal. Our venue, Melrose Market Studios, is pretty bare bones, but after an hour or so of setting up (with a group of friends), the place turned out amazing!!! When Dee showed up to the venue, right before the ceremony, she was speechless and her vision was painted perfectly! Throughout the entire day, Dee and I continued to not worry about a thing. Natalie’s detailed timeline and coordination with all of the vendors basically outlined our entire day. We were told what to do and when and I did not even bother looking at my watch at any given time. My husband and I tied the knot on Saturday and have had the pleasure of working with Natalie the whole year and a half engagement. She was so attentive and gave us beautiful options for vendors and decor ideas within our budget. She kept us on track to make sure we hit all deadlines and weren't stressed the whole process. The week of the wedding she was only a phone call and a majority of the time a few feet away for all questions and concerns that came our way. She took care of every little detail making the week of so smooth I didn't have a chance to stress at all but really enjoy the pre wedding time with everyone. Not to mention Natalie created all of our floral bouquets, center pieces, etc. Her talent and creativity with florals is beyond anything I could have imagined. She took my vision of my wedding and made better than I could have imagined. Day of went beyond smooth. Natalie took care of everything so my husband and I could relax and enjoy the day fully. If she had questions she calmly asked us and took care of the rest. Before we knew it everything had been set up, the day orchestrated, and torn down without a hitch. Because we asked many friends and family to help set up/tear down, Natalie interaction with them was paramount and she was incredible. She was so personable everyone couldn't help but mention how wonderful she was to be around! It was the most perfect day all due to Natalie. Thank you Ginger Bee Events and Planning! Natalie was absolutely fantastic from the day I reached out to ask her to help us plan a wedding in Seattle while we were living in North Carolina (and to also plan while my now-husband was deployed, not knowing for a few months if he would be able to make it back for the wedding). Since we were across the country, Natalie was our stand-in for everything: meetings with the venue and caterer, coordinating rentals, purchasing items for event. There was always an open channel for communication to ensure that we stayed on budget and that no detail, however small, was left behind. Natalie helped streamline and organize our thoughts and priorities on what we wanted the event to be all the way down to color scheme (which first started as "all the colors of the rainbow, plus gold metallics, and glitter"). She was the best decision we made for the wedding (other than finally deciding to have a wedding) and it definitely showed--our guests had a fantastic time and could not stop raving about it all night! Living overseas made it difficult to plan a Seattle wedding. Therefore, we started to scout out a suitable wedding planner to ensure our special day went without a hitch.I had seen the launch of Ginger Bee Events & Planning and was interested in their services right from the get-go.

My husband and I aren’t the “wedding type,” meaning, we’re not the type who would sit down and plan out the fine details of a big event. Our busy schedules, personalities, as well as the distance made it difficult to plot. It became crucial for us to have a planner who could meet our needs based on these factors.

From our first Skype date, Natalie, the head of Ginger Bee Events & Planning, was extremely professional, kind, and thorough. These qualities were continuously exhibited in her dedicated services throughout all stages of our wedding. Moreover, she did a great job of taking a very macro-concept of our wedding and helped us develop it into something magical.

Overall, our special day greatly benefited from the expertise, and ethos of Ginger Bee Events & Planning.

Natalie is truly amazing. I was a DIY bride and loved the many projects and plans before the wedding, but I would have been lost without Natalie. She was calm and competent in planning meetings, as well as in her leadership of schedule and set-up during the rehearsal and wedding day. My family and friends also loved working with Natalie during on-site preparations. Natalie came through in so many ways for a wonderful day, from excellent handling of last-minute problems to creative decoration design.
Looking back on wedding preparation is a little funny because Natalie was enthusiastically supportive of most of my ideas and projects, only politely questioning a few. I stubbornly plowed ahead, paying no heed to her suggestions. The few things I would change about my wedding day match perfectly with Natalie's original opinions. Natalie is an extraordinary pro! Hire her, and if you do, consider her suggestions seriously. :)

Our Day-Of Coordinator, Natalie was extraordinary! She kept our wedding day running smoothly and carefree. Leading up to the wedding, we chatted about my vision for the day and she was a great sounding board for ideas with suggestions to make it exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend her services either as a day-of coordinator or more involved planner. I love looking through our pictures and seeing how she brought it all to life! She is very organized, pays great attention to details, is super professional and yet down to earth at the same time. I really appreciated how easily and quickly she handled the wrinkles of our day.
