GH Clark is an honest christian company! They go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Gil was a huge help on installation day! We had an issue with mold in the attic plywood. It was unable to be seen from the outside so I had him check the attic. He found 8 sheets of plywood that needed to be replaced! The mold was a main concern for us during the roof project, we did not want it looked over. We are so glad Gil went the extra mile to check the attic. We had a little misunderstanding with the contract. Not only did they work with us to resolve the issue, but Angela followed up with a heartfelt apology for the misunderstanding. Dealing with G.H. Clark Contractors was a refreshing and pleasant experience. From estimate to installation to followup, all employees were cordial, informative, prompt, honest and forthright. We had them replace our roof and siding and we could not be more pleased with the results and the way in which we were treated. A problem with the shingles (a slight color variation in one bundle) was corrected without hesitation; no questions asked. I used G.H. Clark Contractors because they did almost every house on Loving Dr., including my son's, after a hail storm and they put a beautiful deck on my son's house that even made my daughter-in-law happy. She is VERY particular. There were a couple of little hic-cups during our roof install but everything was made right by Mr. Clark. While removing the rear gutter on our house, it dropped and bent in half. Mr. Clark sent his gutter person out and installed a brand new gutter on the back of the house the next day. We have paver sidewalks around the house and the men covered them, but not completely. Some of the asphalt from the torn off shingles got on the pavers and marked them. Mr. Clark sent Top Notch Exteriors to our house to pressure wash the pavers at no cost to us. Also when I had the roof replaced 23 years ago the installer put the gutters on top of the singles and the water was not running into the gutters. Mr. Clark fabricated rolled material to made a fascia so the gutters could be properly installed and the shingles would go inside the gutter to properly channel the water. As a homeowner Mr. Clark could have probably gotten away with many short cuts and I would have been none the wiser. However, he brought the defects to my attention, repaired them and did a proper installation. He and his employees obviously take pride in their work. Our roof is beautiful. It was wonderful experience working with G.H. Clark contractors! Thoroughly professional in all aspects of our re-roofing and siding repair. They didn't play any games when scoping out the project or with their work proposal. No long sales pitch, no baited pricing, no "commit today and I will cut the price" scheme. Just a friendly, professional, cut-to-the-chase review of the work needed and an honest proposal, which also turned out to be the lowest bid. We felt good about signing the contract, no regrets. They kept us well informed throughout process, and on the day the work was to be done, the work crew showed up on-time and ready to work. The least experienced crew member had 20 years of roofing experience. The crew was extremely efficient, competent, and well organized. They protected all the plants around our house with tarps and took great care not to damage any of our plants. One worker was even picking up scraps that missed the tarp during the entire job! We found only 3 nails under a bush after they left. Very impressive. The work on our 2600 square foot roof started at 6AM and was completed (including clean up and removal of all equipment) by Noon. I had been searching for a replacement sliding patio door for quite a while, couldn't find anything that was what I wanted until I went to Clark's. They showed me exactly what I was looking for and the price was good for a top of the line door. Five stars is not enough for G.H. Clark Contractors — I would give 10 if I could! They went out of their way making multiple trips to our house before we made a final decision on which project we wanted to tackle (roof). Their communication is superb, always a phone call or email away with quick responses, and the entire team was extremely professional throughout the entire process. GH Clark recently installed windows for us that we bought through them. We shopped at all of the big vendors like Renewal by Anderson, Pella and Thompson Creek. We decided on the ProVia windows that G.H. Clark sold us and are completely satisfied. These windows are super high quality and the G.H. Clark installation team did an outstanding job removing our old windows and installing our new ones. The team was super professional and extremely tidy. I expected a lot of construction dust but they kept each room very neat while they worked. They finished our entire job which included 21 windows and a sliding door in 2 1/2 days. We got bids from several companies and GH Clark was the only company who took the time to actually get up on the roof and look at it. Because of that Mitch was able to inform me of issues he had found and what it would cost so there were no surprises on the day of install. We had the new roof installed last week.I wanted to wait to post because we were expecting rain and wanted to make sure all was good, and it was. Everyone at GH Clark was very pleasant and knowledgeable a joy to work with them all. We have a large roof they arrived on time and completed the job the same day. They did a good job of cleaning up. In a week I have only found 2 nails(and they worn't in the driveway, that is really good. Noah was very helpful on site answered any questions I had.
