Our two large Shepard mix dogs were trained by Nicholas 3 years ago with on leash and off leash protocol. After 1 day we were amazed. They no longer pulled on their leashes nor ran away when the gate opened... AFTER ONE DAY. Of course things only get better from there. It took some trial and error for US to learn the training but the pups picked it
up immediately. GIDDT has been there for us in more ways than just training our dogs. They trained us, they were available for refresher courses to fill in gaps over time, available for questions long after the training was over, and they truly love our dogs. I have recommended them to everyone I meet who owns a dog. GIDDT has absolutely improved the quality of life for our dogs and our family. Get It Done Dog Training was the best investment we have ever made in our dog. We enrolled Xena (doberman) into the program because she would go crazy whenever the doorbell would ring and we couldn't walk her without using a gentle leader because she pulled all the time. She was also very insecure and she would bark at kids (and I could see the panic in her eyes if any kid tried to pet her).

After the training, she came back like a perfect little angel. She walked perfectly on and off leash at our sides... no pulling! She also stopped going crazy at the sound of a doorbell and comes over to us when we call her. Her confidence has also increased tremendously and she is much better around kids. GIDDT taught us how to handle certain situations with Xena so that she wouldn't react/bark like she used to, which has helped us tremendously. She can handle a few controlled kid interactions now. I work in a dog-friendly office and I'm proud to bring her in knowing that she won't cause any trouble. I'm always getting compliments on her behavior!

I'm so very grateful for GIDDT and their excellence of service. My pup can be a pup now and relax, play, and just be a dog. I get to be the boss bc they've trained us how. Before life was hectic, bc she was always anxious and taking lead now she listens and she doesn't bite people or attack other animals. This was the best thing I ever could've done for us. My dogs are now fantastic! Both listen so well and know their place in the pack. I'm beyond impressed. The training is difficult and takes a while to get used to, but it's worth every bit of effort and every penny.

After my fiancé and saw Chad working Bane at the mall we knew we wanted our Huskies to be as well behaved as Bane! Our three Huskies (Father, Daughter, and Son) were hard leash pullers, runners if they were in a new place (and they would take off for miles), and would never last a minute in the crate if we needed to crate them. Whenever I would walk them they would pull my arm so hard my shoulder and elbow started to have bad shooting pains. I love running and love running with them but it was very hard to do so as they also would lung and bark after any other dog on our runs.
After the initial visit from Nicholas and Chad, having them explain their methodologies and feeling how much they truly LOVED animals, we knew it was the right choice. After they all completed training I can say I never thought we could love our babies more; but having them trained has formed this whole new level of love and bond. They are able to be at my fiancé's gym and stay in their "spot" while he works without the worry of them running off. It has allowed for André to take them to the field while he teaches speed training and they all stay in down-stay and watch dad work. I am able to now run all of them off-leash or with a handsfree leash without a worry. It is beyond a blessing to be able to run worry free and allow them to run as dogs should be able to; off leash. GIDDT has changed our life with our pups for the better and has allowed for us to form a bond that I never thought possible. We have had both of our dogs trained by them (Thor and JJ) and recommend them to everyone. It is really a night and day difference and you will be amazed at the change. Since we got our family member Maximus (a Rottweiler) we knew we have to get him into a training class, not any kind, a great one. We did our research online, media advertising, vet brochures, but nothing convinced us until one day we saw at the vet office a German shepherd with his handler and watched how great he behaved and listened to his person, then we entered to Dr. D office and mention to her how impressed I was with the dog's training, she told us...that's Nick Williams, he's a professional dog trainer and works amazing with dogs, she gave us his info and as soon as we got home we called him.
He immediately respond and answered all the questions we had and the next day he came to a free evaluation.
Afterwards we talked about Nick, the company, his training and his care and love for dogs, he carefully explained everything about his training packages and gave us his honest recommendation for our dog.
We couldn't refuse going with him after our conversation since the moment we felt the confidence that he will brings us back a brand new dog, with a well structured commands, not only for Maximus but for the whole family to train us to ensure that the structure will never be broken.

I'm a dog sitter for a couple different clients of GIDDT and for the owners, as well, and let me tell you it has made dog sitting so much easier! Being able to watch these trained dogs is such a treat. Let me just start off by saying that Get It Done Dog Training has been the best thing that has ever happened to my dog. I say that in the present tense because Get It Done is still a huge part of my dog's life post-training. I have a German Shepherd Dog named Rammus and I knew from day one that I needed to get him trained. My husband and I were on our last ropes with our puppy, potty-training was failing, he didn't sleep through the night and our lives were miserable. That's when my friend Megan referred me to Get It Done Dog Training, she raved about how well and fast they trained her German Shepherd Spyro and that Nicholas was one of the best. I contacted Get It Done on their Facebook page and the admin was very respectable and considerate of scheduling an evaluation for my pup. From the moment I met Nicholas I knew that my puppy was getting nothing but the best training there is in San Diego. He was very informative and knew exactly what my dog needed to succeed within minutes of meeting him. Their goal in training is not treat-training like Petco or Petsmart with group session every week, but in fact to establish a command structure to communicate better with our dog, one-on-one. From voice commands, hand gestures, silent commands and proper leash work you are your dog build a strong relationship. Rammus was a completely different dog when he came back from training. Nicholas didn't break his spirit in anyway, he merely found the inner personality of my dog and helped him succeed. He didn't pull on the leash, he was calm but playful and he did what he was told. We went from being stressed puppy parents to calm and happy parents. Get It Done holds monthly workshops for their clients that helps them master and refresh their skills with their dogs. It was great to be able to meet other clients and dogs that were trained by Nicholas, and you can see the love he has for each of the dogs he has worked with. I have enjoyed every minute working with Get It Done, they have been there for Rammus and have helped him grow into a well-rounded sociable dog that I always knew he could be. I just want to take the time to say how wonderful and amazing Nick and Joy are. They are so compassionate towards all the animals as well as I when i brought zeus never did i ever feel nervous or anythinf i knew he was in good hands. Nic and Joy are amazing. We got our dog Rousey from a local shelter and she'd been pretty badly abused and had no training. After having her for a year we decided she really needed some help. She was a leash puller, hard, and didn't respect or obey either me or my partner. I won't lie, we're still working on it and it has been hard. Mostly because I've seen what she knows and can do and we're not on the level where she completely heels to me or obeys me like she does with Nic. But both he and Joy have been amazing about helping whenever we ask or have issues. They work with your dog and turn things around for them quickly but also have the patience to work with the owners to ensure they are confident and can upkeep the training received. Rousey still has her moments but with time, and help!, I know she'll be amazing thanks to Get It Done Dog Training! More...

AMAZING!! 100% The real deal. My English Yellow Lab puppy was more than a handful. I was very suspect that anyone could turn around the bad habits that my puppy had been developing with me. Fast forward three weeks of training me and Barkley and I can't believe the outcome. I am NOW the pack leader and Barkley is a very happy and obedient team player. He doesn't pull at all, he works hard to do exactly what I want him to do. The ability to put him in a spot and walk away and jump over him without him flinching is like being the ring leader in my own dog circus. Incredible! I can't thank Chad, Amanda, Nicholas, Joy and crew enough! They are all stellar teachers who really do what it takes to train YOU to take control of your dog and your life! The cost seemed high to me at first, but now to see the results, it is an unbelievable bargain! I highly recommend Get it done to anyone thinking about getting training. Dog training is a must have for any dog owner. Training adds structure which is exactly what a dog wants from their handler.

Me and my wife bit off more than we could chew and ended up with a puppy and a baby. We immediately contact Get it Done Dog training and an assessment was made in a day or two. Nick then took our Aussie this his house for two weeks to make sure that all the training was set it stone. When Chase came back he was a completely different dog. Nick showed me all of his commands and gave us a reference report card. We could also call for any behaviors that we may want to correct in the future.

On top of the excellent training Get it Done also boards dogs. The boarding serves two purposes; a place where you know your dog is well taken care of and will be running around and playing and his training is reinforced during their stay.

This service is priceless and really will add years of companionship with your dog. More...
