I came in today just as they opened up so it was serene. Between classes this is a good place to go and get your sushi fix, I found the shashimi plate to be the perfect size for just me, and it came with miso soup. The server was very polite and their phones were already ringing with orders when I came in, but she made sure I was sitting and my food was brought to me as soon as it was done. The shashimi is excellent and looks great. I already ate two before I took my photo but the display is really nice as well. I appreciated having the hot food packed in one bag and the cold food in another. The noodles were fully packed into the container. It was a good size for the price. I didn't like that the "sauce" was just placed on top of the food. I poured the contents into a large bowl to mix myself. The sushi was nothing special, but didn't taste fishy. More...

The food here was phenomenal, especially given the fantastic price. The staff were very kind and food was prompt. I came on a trip for a conference and was nervous about the price for a downtown sushi restaurant, but there was no need to worry, and there is a fantastic selection of sushi, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. My friends and I went to Fuji after we saw how disgusting Mandarin asian bistro was. And this place is awesomeThe sushi was great and it wasn't that expensive either for what you get. The seaweed salad was really good too. The menu is divided into Japanese food (sushi) and then normal Chinese food. I haven't tried the Chinese food but I would just stick with the sushi anyway. On March 24th 2019 i used fuji restaurant for a reception of my daughter baptism when we got there they were waiting for us the woman hadi took a delivery of flowers set up their function everything was perfect then after we were relaxing for a few she had her staff put the buffet together kept the food coming fresh and hot everyone was so professional and so nice i would recommend them anyday they are the best. thank you for everything fuji you made our reception a huge success and surprise. I had a wonderful experience at Fuji this past weekend. The sushi is inventive, fresh and delicious with plenty of creative selections for vegetarians as well. The presentation is beautiful with a whimsical touch from the heart. I would recommend the Goldfish roll (not actually goldfish) and the pan seared Peking ravioli. The cruisine is very authentic to traditional dishes and the prices are amazing for the quality! The owners are very friendly. Great experience, nice atmosphere! Fuji was AMAZING! Right in the heart of down town Lowell, Ma., this Japanese & Chinese culinary experience is waiting for you! The lunch special is reasonably priced ($7.95 normally and $9.75 on the weekends) Call and double check though. Besides the food, I loved how unexpected the spice was. My husband and I walked in on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure if they had any other customers that day but when walked in we were the only two people there (other than our hostess/waitress and cook). The restaurant was so expansive with mood lights in the ceiling creating the perfect ambiance. Our food was so good that re wanted to press rewind and eat it all over again. Please go eat at Fuji! I had a sushi catering order for a Christmas party and the food was absolutely spectacular! All the seafood was fresh and the elements of the sushi were treated with finesse and skill.
