Frutta Bowls

Wow, surprisingly good! Was a little skeptical when frutta bowl came to fair oaks, but give it a try!! Really love that there's a healthy option now! You can make your own bowl as week as pick one of their crowd favorites. We tried the frutta bowl, think they Nutella and peanut butter threw off the fruity taste (would recommend replacing with chia/hemp seeds). It was delicious and one bowl filled both of us up! The price was pretty good too! (Less than $8 for the both of us to be filled with a nutritious meal). There isn't much seating and few outlets. They have space to fit a few more tables but they do have couches! I wish they'd use actual bowls instead of plastic to help the environment. The service was super fast and they use fresh fruits. Wow! First time enjoying lunch at Frutta Bowls. I was very impressed from the minute I stepped in the door! I ordered the small Frutta Bowl and peanut / banana / honey / chia seed bread. I savored every bite! I didn't want the Frutta Bowl to end!! It was DELICIOUS!! And, the small size was perfect for lunch. I can't wait to go back!! Place is fantastic. The bowls Are healthy and delicious.   They take time to prepare it and it shows in the presentation. It's a great healthy alternative . The stores run well and the people in the store are very friendly and helpful when you have questions. Every time I've been there it is  a 10 out of 10. Came here on a Sunday for dinner. They weren't too busy. They operate in a fast casual system. The atmosphere is modern and pretty nice. All of the staff were very nice. They mainly have toasts, smoothies, and bowls. There is a large variety of toppings and bases for the bowls. I decided on the seasonal bowl which had a pumpkin base. It also came with bananas, honey, almonds, granola, and craisins. It was a nice change compared to other bowls I have had. I have been to other places that also focus on bowls and I feel like the quality and taste are about the same here. I do think that the bowls here were too pricey relatively especially taking into account the portion sizes. I think I order at least one açaí bowl a week from here. They're just that good. Great size and great service. I highly suggest downloading the app-- you can easily make an online order and have it ready for pickup. Service is incredibly fast, I always order it on my way there and they always have it ready, I've never waited for them. The quality of the açaí is very good, fruits are fresh and they have great toppings. I personally prefer the taste of their açaí way more than purple bowl. Highly recommend visiting. Amazing food. I was thrilled to have both savory and sweet, truly delicious! I had the G.O.A.T toast with roasted red pepper, olives and goat cheese. This place is so good and conveniently near LA Fitness. I got out of my workout and noticed this place. I LOVE açaí bowls, so I couldn't resist and got myself a Frutta Bowl, which came with a bunch of delicious toppings such as strawberries, Kiwi, Pineapple, granola, peanut butter and much more! I didn't even know that they had a carry out container for these açaí bowls, until I was given the açaí in the go to container because the lady thought I said to go instead of for here. Quick, tasty, and leaves you feeling good about what you ate? Look no further! Ths staff are super friendly and helpful when you need help with your indecision. My mom got the frutta bowl and it was exactly what she was looking for: tropical, light, and different types of fruits. She finished her bowl and felt a good type of full. They have seasonal bowls as well! I tried the pumpkin bowl and had to ask for a lid to take half of it home. It was very yummy and tasted like fall, but I was not prepared for how filling it was. Almost every Friday a few co-workers and myself would order from this location. I usually get the Frutella Bowl with some minor adjustments. I change the fruit to mango and banana, add almond butter instead of the peanut butter and add sliced almonds instead of the coconut flakes. The taste itself has always been pretty consistent, however, the amount and the way it is packaged has not been. How much you get inside the bowl and the order of placements of each ingredients varies by hands, which is unfortunate. When you are used to gettin a full bowl that is very nicely displayed and then the next week it is just a little pass halfway full, it is a little disappointing (not pictured, it didn't look pretty that I just didn't want to take picture). Other than the inconsistency in the bowl itself; I have no other complaints. The place is kept clean, the manager/owner (or whom I believe is one) is very nice; he always greets when he see my co-workers and I and he remember us as well. They also have an app that allows you to collect points and order in advance for pick up (and they are always ready by the pick up time), which is very handy when you only have 30 mins for lunch. I have to say, for my first Frutta Bowls experience, it was nice. The shop was quaint and homely, the pictures on the walls were pleasant, and the fruity aroma greeted my senses. The plant and halloween decorations really spiced up the environment and gave the place a trendy look. The service was amazing, the friendly staff accommodated my nuanced order with a smile. The transaction was quick and painless and before I new it, my name was being called to collect my order. My husband and I went in tonight as our 'dessert' after dinner and we're so glad we visited this placd! With a lot of help and samples I was able to decide on ordering the the Bermuda bowl with dragon fruit, pineapples, berries, strawberries and graham crackers. This place is outstanding. Some of the best Açaí bowls I've had and I just came back from the West Coast. The east coast is just catching up, but this place is dialed in. The only thing I worry about is that it won't be around for long with the expensive Mall lease price. I hope more people find out about this place to keep it in business forever. Everything about this little business, the employees, and of course, the products are simply perfect. Chapel Hill cuisine tends to be a bit unhealthy, so this joint offers the perfect getaway from heavy meals. Everything includes fruit so be ready for that fructose sugar rush, but the options to customize with different protein supplements makes this place very appealing to all.
