I came to Friends Got Paws definitely needing training for my Shelby. What occurred were a 2 months long session where I was able to instill commands in my dog and me. These sessions are as much as about the owner as it is the dog. With his expertise and guidance, I was able to see my dog be the good dog I knew her to be, while putting boundaries on her and not being afraid to correct bad behavior. It also showed me what bad/good behavior was with my dog. Angel came highly referred from my dog trainer. My one year old lab, Kepler, is very skittish and nervous around schedule. When looking for a dog walker, people actually passed on the job because of how nervous Kepler was with them. When Angel met him, I was amazed to see how fast Kepler opened up to him. Since then, Angel has boarded Kepler numerous times. Each time you can see how excited Kepler is to see him. Angel is prompt with communication and will keep me updated of Kepler whenever walking or boarding Kepler, including sending pics. I would highly recommend Angel for any dog service you need. We engaged Angel to help us train our 15 month old Pitsky rescue, Quinn. Before our training sessions Quinn would pull us down the Trolley Trail, and was very reactive to people and other pups along our walk. After 6 lessons she now heels, holds a sit, as well as place. We have learned better leash handling skills, and are now working on tricks with her. Angel is personable, respects the training schedule and is always kind with his coaching the handlers and dogs.
