I had an issue with my chimney, and I called within half hour they came and repaired my collapse chimney liner and cap. They did a great job and cleaned up mess. I recommend them if u want the job done right. These are the serious guys for this serious kind of job , you need to trust some one to get your chimney cleaned up because a lot of mess can be created if the company you called did not do the job right. I noticed a leak in my fireplace and called three chimney repair companies and received estimates for the repair....I decided to use Fred's Chimney Magic as they came on time for the estimate, were friendly, professional, and explained in detail in laymen's terms what needed to be done. ...they also met the price of the other companies as well. I scheduled the appointment for the repair which included a pointing of the chimney, repair of the crown, resealing the flashing, waterseal the chimney, and a complete chimney sweep and cleaning...the technicians arrived on time, were professional, did the entire job in a most efficient and effective manner, and cleaned up leaving no debris or mess. The company called to the next day to see if I was pleased with the service and when I told them that it rained three hours after the completion of the job, they sent the technician out to me the next day who re-watersealed the entire chimney again to make sure there were no leaks....a few days later we had a severe thunderstorm and when I checked the fireplace there were no leaks. Â I am very pleased with the company and service and would recommend them to anyone who needs chimney repairs.....their Warrantee is a ten year warrantee in writing which I believe is a great comfort and peace of mind. I had a larger job that needed to be done working with an apartment building. I would need to clear a major blockage in the chimney, install a new liner, install new pipework from the boilers to the flue, and install a chimney stack from the roof 17 feet over the neighbor's property. I called several companies for estimates, and while many were good, none stood out like Mike from Chimney Magic. He took the time to look at everything, calculate measurements, and ask the fine detail questions even before being guaranteed any work. I had called another company for a camera inspection just to see the blockage in the chimney, and was charged a few hundred for that service. Mike did a quick visual himself using his camera equipment during the free estimate just so he could be well informed in knowing everything that needed to be done for the job. I've never met another contractor who would offer this level of service during a free estimate.The work itself needed to be done in several steps over the course of a month. Mike showed up on time every time with his crew ready to work. Without the need for any monitoring, he and his crew did exactly what they said they would at a high level of quality.I would not hesitate to recommend Chimney Magic for any job, large or small. We recently moved into our new home, which has a fireplace and since we have no previous fireplace experience, we decided to get the chimney swept prior to firing up the fireplace. Chris and George arrived on time and methodically cleaned ash from the fireplace and swept the chimney. **** update*** they did honor coupon. And a little extra for the confusion. They came on time and finished with no clean up after.  Rob  that came to clean gutters and dryer vent was completely  professional.  I was GREATLY please with the work.  ******Before making appointment with This company I spoke with Andy about the coupon on Yelp.  He looked it up and said no problem we will honor it.  They came to do an estimate.  After the estimate  I show them the coupon, now all of a sudden they don't know anything  about it.  I sent a screen shot  to  the partner.  She still didn't honor the coupon and said  that she will call me back about this.  REALLY!!!! CALL ME BACK  I was prepared to have them clean the gutters as well as do dryer vent cleaning but instead you loss that for a $50 coupon.  Doesn't make sense at all!!!!  ***** so Andy did contact me immediately and apologized  for the mix up and promised to make things right.  They will honor the coupon and I was very pleased with the handling of this situation.  I will update once work has been completed ******* More...
