Andrea (Freak on a leash) did an awesome job of helping us learn to train our dog Shelby. She came to our house she was very professional, energetic, knowledgeable and fun. We didn’t know a lot about having a dog or training one and she was with us every step of the way. She gave us the confidence, knowledge, and tools to be able to train our dog. Andrea is the best dog trainer we have ever been around. She worked with our 18 month old German Shepard that was a rescue and unsocialized. Now our dog can go in Home Depot without barking or growling at anyone. She also taught her the normal commands of sit, lay etc. I highly recommend her for any dog training you might need. Love the atmosphere of the classes here. You can really tell that the trainers are doing it for their love of dogs. Andrea is absolutely amazing. Our dogs immediately warmed up to her and you can tell she loves animals because they love her right back. One of our dogs is very anxious and suffers with anxiety and Andrea knew how to interact with her and gained her trust quickly. We used this wonderful person to watch our 2 dogs while we were away for a week. This was the first time we have ever let a "stranger" have a key to our house. ..let me say, upon meeting Andrea we had a good feeling about her. She is very sweet to my 2 babies, very trustworthy, & even taught Toby to not jump up on people when they come through the door.
She is paid by the amount of times you'd like her to come over. We did 3 times a day. Her price is very affordable. She stayed with them for at least 30 minutes or more each visit. She sent me texts & pictures of my dogs every day which was great (they were playing in most pictures).
I cannot say enough about her. Please use her services if you're in need. She also trains dogs & walks dogs. Fantastic experience. I can't wait to plan another vacation & rest assured my dogs will be happy, safe & sound in their own house with no stress from boarding. More...

I have taken several classes with HROTC. I tried out nosework and found that my dog and I enjoyed it immensely. My dog absolutely loves to do nosework! I have also taken my dog through the CGC preparation class and then passed the Canine Good Citizen test! Kudos to the instructors! More...

My lil pup and I have trained for multiple sessions at HROTC. I highly recommend this training facility. The classes tend to have around 3-7 people at one time which provides private, intimate, one-on-one instruction with trainer and owner. Andrea Marx has been our trainer through our courses. My pup and I have been very pleased with her knowledge and help! She is a genuine and honest person and truly dedicated to improving the bond between human and pup. What I enjoyed the most out of the training at HROTC was after each class, Andrea emailed homework for the week. It was delightful to be able to show-off the skills learned throughout the week outside of the course and have a guide to refer back to if I forgot what was completed in class. I have trained at other facilities and not had this privilege. Overall, I would definitely recommend training here to anyone. More...
