I got some carry out. The ladies were super nice. Could not have accommodated me more with all my questions, as I am from Michigan and do not know all the beef rules. The atmosphere was so quaint, the menu was boundless (with unique and authentic items), and the food was absolutely scrumptious. It was also very affordable and the service was genuinely accommodating and friendly. I tried to ring the “thank you” bell but I broke it instead; they reassured me that they would fix it and assuaged my guilt and embarrassment. They also had a fridge full of frozen pizzas, pasta dishes, soups, desserts, and more that you could buy to go. I loved it here and I can’t wait to come again! Great place with great food & service. I had the half size chicken salad & my daughter had the Italian beef & fries & let me say, it was ALL Deeelicious �. This was my first visit & wasn't sure what to get but the staff was very friendly & helpful & made it easy for me to choose these two dishes. They even let me sample one of their dressings for my salad! I have never tasted Apple or mango salad dressing before & I must say, They are a must have! My family and I will definitely be back..and possibly a couple friends too..thanks for adding your business on Groupon �

Ate here for the first time today with my lovely wife and had the Breaded Steak Sandwich, wife had the Angus Burger. Let me tell yous guys somethin, these people know what they're doing at Fratello's! !! I've had breaded steak sandwiches from the best places around (not mentioning any names because most are very good) but without a doubt to my tastebuds, Fratello's has "The Best" I have ever had. The steak was so tender, a great breading and marinara with mozzerela!!! Wife's burger was awesome too but she doesn't get all nuts about stuff like I do. I told the owner's son Dan, who I expressed my thoughts to, that I was going to come back regularly and eat my way through the entire menu one sandwich at a time. Best ever!!! Great job Fratello's.

My family and I (Italians, by the way) went for dinner last evening. We ordered a variety of items so we could taste as much as possible. We really enjoyed everything! The food was hot, fresh, homemade, and authentic. The staff was great and the retail items were very reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back to taste more of their selections. Tinley Park Review- Mid-morning hunger on a dreary Saturday. New place in town caught our eye on FB. Ran over half hour after open (that is a gamble for most independent places, but we were not disappointed). Take out order, first time here, took a little while to figure out the menu and the workings. The reader boards were off, so we used the paper menu. Our order was Chicken Apple salad, Southwest Chicken Salad, Angry Italian Sandwich, a cream and broth based soup (gnocchi and chicken pastina), and a Tiramisu parfait cup. All items were to go. All items were VERY tasty and I will provide a few insights/details. The soups were delicious, hot, and not over salted like many area options. The Angry Italian was spicy, and very fresh. They used a leafy item in place of the boring iceberg lettuce, and it actually contributed to the overall taste of the sandwich. The soups were wrapped well (no spillage traveling home), proper items were put in the bag (spoons/crackers), bags stapled shut. I am very hopeful that every employee follows the owners lead and handles soup the way he did. Big soup fans, but don't bother in Tinley area due to poor taste, quality, and packing. This could be a game changer. The Tiramisu cup was had lots of old world Italian flavor, and the wife and I fought over it while catching up on TV shows. As for some other items worth mentioning. Lots of good looking ready to heat items available in the store, and we will be back to pick some up during the week. Lots of coffee selection, and I plan on trying them over the coming weeks. This is not your typical run in, order at the counter, run out Italian grocery/deli. The inside of the shop is positively stunning. I really hate when a business goes cheap on the seating/tables. Not here, the eating/cafe area is a feast for the eyes. You can bring a lunch date, your family, a business colleague and not feel awkward. Again, we went in very early and this may have benefitted us, and if so I will be inclined to do a PM review as well. I see some of the reviews are very critical and obviously mine is glowing, look at the details to decide if you're willing to give this small business the benefit of the doubt. Again we were in search of soup/salad combos but they have so much more from sandwiches to flatbreads and desserts like cannolis. I ordered the chicken poblano soup and blackened chicken salad and my teen got the caprese panini and soup combo (chicken poblano) and she loved her panini and I enjoyed my salad, soup was good not spicy as I hoped it would be but not bad by any means. Anyway, I can't wait to return and try other menu items. They also have a deli to take home different things from milk to ravioli but such a cute place to have lunch. This deli/cafe recently opened up. I grew up Italian-American and was happy to see this new place pop up near my work. I have been in four times and have not been disappointed yet. I have tried two pasta dishes, a sandwich, and a soup/salad combo. Everything spot on. There is also a small market which has been convenient to pick up a handful of items on the way home. This is one of my new favorite local places to get a quick bite. I have tried many different menu option and have yet to be disappointed. I even liked the place so much that when looking for a caterer for a work luncheon to serve 130 people I chose them. Marco, the owner was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. We served all 130 people under budget and we had plenty of food leftover. My favorite dishes there are the Eggplant Parmesan (which I order with the bread on the side since i think it is better on its own), the ravioli, the chipotle chicken wrap, and all of their desserts. Every dish I have had there is great, that is just a highlight of some of my favorites. The place itself is a very quaint little cafe that includes a small grocery store and freezers with pre-made food of theirs. The deli section has a great assortment of deli salads and sides. I have yet to get anything here that has disappointed me so I would highly suggest this place to anyone that is looking for a quick option for some good home style Italian food.
