We hired Korene at Fortune Kookie Fun for my son's 1st bday this past weekend and she was fantastic! I received so many compliments on Korene that she was so talented with her face painting and balloon artistry skills. Fortune Kookie Fun is awesome!!! I have had Korene do balloons for a couple events for me. One for my son and one for my daughter's birthdays. All the kids were happy with their designs and she took custom request. She made special balloons for the celebrant which were nice. I love how she asks details about the event like colors and themes. Then she design the special balloons and  dresses in costumes that matches the event. She has been punctual, professional, and pleasant making the parties all the more festive! More...

We hired Fortune Kookie Fun for our daughter's first birthday. Korene was a big hit at the party, and she made sure every kid got a custom balloon design. Her designs were elaborate, often using multiple balloons in different colors. She even arrived with a 3-foot panda to match the theme of the party. Korene provides fun, high quality birthday party entertainment.  We recently booked her for our daughter's third birthday and she was fabulous.  She came with partner, dressed to support the theme of the party and provided amazing balloon and face painting art to lots of happy kids.  Many parents commented on the quality of the artwork.  She was also very professional and easy to work with over email.  She is the kind of person you want to book for a party and would highly recommend her. I had the joy of seeing Korene at a birthday party and thought it would be great to get her for my daughter's bday.  The prices are pretty comparable to other artists, based on my other research. <br>She was so patient and loving to all the preschoolers around!  The princess balloon she made for my daughter was amazing!  She did a great job with the kids and talking with them while working.  The teachers and parents raved about her for the rest of the week.<br>I would definitely recommend her above all the others because she was so professional and amazing at what she does! Korene and Dale were amazing today. We had Fortune Kookie attend our party with face painting, balloon animals and magic show. They were a hit and busy the entire 3 hours at our party. Korene brought a gift of a balloon sheep for our Chinese New Year party and it was beautiful. I saw Fortune Kookie (Korene) at my neighbors party last year. All the kids had so much fun. I called Fortune Kookie to do face painting and balloon art for my daughter jenni's 5th birthday. Fortune Kookie suggested story time, she would read a book to the kids. I thought that was a good idea. Jenni's birthday party was at the park with 15 kindergartners. Fortune Kookie and Magikdale (dale) showed up and was cute dressed in clown costume. All the kids waited for Magikdale to do their balloons. They were so excited to see him twist balloons into animals, flowers, hats, superheroes and dolls. Face painting was a hit too. Fortune Kookie painted the kids faces which looked so unique especially the animal ones. Jenni loved her painted lion on her face. All the kids were so happy to have their face painted. She read Dora the explorer book which is jenni's favorite. All the kids were focused on her story. I was very pleased with her performance and her interaction with the kids. Thank you Korene (Fortune Kookie) for a fantastic party.  Planning was my daughter's 6th birthday was easy, especially on only 2 weeks notice.  Korene was flexible and professional, and responded to all my questions and requests promptly.  The party was outside at the Alta Plaza Playground in Pacific Heights, and despite it being a surprisingly cold windy day Korene delighted and entertained the kids. She performed a funny magic act that the kids loved and happily made ballon animals, light sabres and flowers.  She also did a great job with makeup faces that the 5/6 year old girls loved.  I highly recommend Korene. She treats the customers with total respect. She is very good working with children, and is a very honest person. We first saw Korene as Mrs. Claus at the Embarcadero Building Lighting in November.  It was POURING rain, a lot of the festivities were cancelled, and Korene was right near the skating rink and was beseiged by kids and parents who were determined to save something from the evening, which meant she was inundated with requests for balloon animals.  She handled all this with great grace under pressure.<br><br>When it came time to hold my son's 8th birthday party, we thought of Korene for the entertainment.  We hired her to do a 20 minute magic show for 25+ kids, followed by an hour of balloon twisting (making animals, crowns, etc) and we were delighted with the result.  Korene took all the noisy kids in stride and entertained them well.  We whole heartedly recommend Korene and her coworker Dale to entertain a group of any size!
