Got delivery via yelp from here and holy moly... this was literally some of the best breakfast I've ever had. Totally worth it. The chicken and waffles was delicious and seriously hit the spot for my sunday scaries. 10/10 would recommend ordering from here, can't wait to dine from here again!! More...
Their biscuits are delicious. I enjoyed the "don't pretend" breakfast of biscuit eggs and gravy. The biscuit was warm and fluffy and flaky and crispy on the edges. The eggs were scrambled just right. The chicken sausage gravy was creamy, peppery and just the right amount. With a side of "moon dusted" potatoes. It's full service, not a stand in line and order at the counter setup. Our server was friendly, smiling the whole time. More...
The food was really good first time there but the Waitress can do better in customer service it’s sucks
This place is incredible. The service was great, our server was Johnnie, and he was so accommodating and made great recommendations. I had the biscuits and gravy, by far the best I've had. My boyfriend got the French toast and he said it was amazing. 10/10 for sure. More...
Amazing atmosphere. The staff were accommodating and the food! Delicious! And fast! But more importantly all fresh
A hotel breakfast option of plastic fake eggs at a huge cost was not going to work for me. Instead, I was in the door at Flying Biscuit minutes after they opened. Whoa! A bartender-Kim-offering me a bloody mary at 7 something AM that sounded GREAT! Except that within minutes, I was about to drive 350 miles home. I didn't want to fall asleep on top of the Cooper River Bridge. Next visit-different story. I ordered scrambled eggs with salmon. What I received was 3 perfectly scrambled and cooked fresh eggs with chunks of delicious salmon. They were the best eggs ever! And, grits like I've never tasted. They were fluffy. Not at all like typical southern dense, heavy, salty grits that congeal as the cool. These were more like eating a creamy dessert...but not sweet. And, a beautiful, light as air buscuit. I'd normally leave biscuits on the plate. Not this one! It was worth the carbs...easy. Try 'em out. And bring a designated driver...or better-take Lyft. More...
Best food and service of my wholeeeee life I’ll definitely be back

Best grits ever!!! In general a great breakfast
Great place. Great service and quick.
The biscuits and creamy grits were excellent!!! The service, atmosphere..good! Highly recommend!
awesome, will be a repeat customer.
Great little find in Mt. Pleasant. Loved the unique options on the menu. I Had the omelette with salmon, cream cheese, & chives & it didn't disappoint. The grits were delicious & staff was super friendly! My only complaint would be the biscuit was way over cooked but the apple butter made up for it. I Will definitely visit there again for breakfast next time I come to Charleston. More...

Disappointing experience for my first visit.
The breakfast was delicious
Awesome Breakfast hands down!
We've been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally went today after a morning trip to the beach and wow, it was great. I had the "Hold Me Loosely" which was scrambled eggs with collard greens and bacon, plus a side of grits and a biscuit with raspberry jelly. Super good. It came out fast, was served hot, and our server was very attentive. My wife had the chicken club sandwich and said it was delicious. Pro tip: substitute the chips for fresh fruit at no extra charge. There were many things on the menu that looked awesome and it was a tough decision on what to order! We'll definitely be back. More...
worth the long wait...food was awesome!!!
Atlanta's Flying Biscuit is a fabulous quaint restaraunt I would highly suggest visiting while there. Eat a bunch and then walk it off at the Piedmont Park and then go back for seconds. the manager and staff were very kind. will definately visit again my next trip to Atlanta. thanks Flying Biscuit Team for helping to give my son a fun 15th Birthday experience. Good place for breakfast/brunch and also if you're looking to try some southern food. Food was delicious, you could tell it's fresh and made in house. Value was great, did not pay a whole lot and left full and happy. The service was great, waitstaff was attentive to waters and clearing tables. I even got a recommendation on what to do with my time here in Charleston! Overall positive experience and would suggest stopping here if you're in the area. More...
This was our second visit here. We came about 2 months ago after they opened. The service wasn't great and our food order was incorrect but their grits were amazing. We came back today to give the place another shot and the service had improved tremendously! The food came out quickly, we got what we ordered and it was delicious!I have to say, hands down they have the best grits. I would come here and just order grits. They have improved so much and I would encourage anyone to visit this place!! More...
Went back today 7/13/19 for a quick breakfast . I must say it was so much better !!' The staff was very attentive and the food came hot quick and delicious. We opted to sit at the bar and met Mark who was the cameo bartender. Even though he was filling in he made great drinks ! Awesome Bloody Mary. Thanks guys for a much better experience. We will be back More...
I love this place so much. I've been about 7 times so far and I've never had a bad experience. I always get the Hey Nineteen (biscuit pot pie) and it's absolutely delicious! I just think it needs more salt, but hey I can add that myself. The service is always wonderful at the cafe. They really make you feel at home. Today I went with a friend and our server was the best. Very friendly, great conversation. The manage on duty even came over to check on us twice.I really hope this restaurant continues to grow because it is a great concept. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. More...
Absolutely delicious, fast and friendly!
The flying biscuit is very nice and friendly atmosphere that's located in the heart of good ole mount pleasant ! The specialization of homemade biscuits seems to be and will always be a southern tradition. With so many places the flying biscuit has its own diverse menu that's screams different ! The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean . I would highly recommend flying biscuit to any biscuit lovers and breakfasts enthusiast world wide. Be sure to get there early and make sure you have a empty stomach that needs a filling , each meal is served in a large portion size . which is a good plus , the normal wait time is between 10-25 mins . being that each meal is very custom from scratch that's a great turn over time i believe . I went here for lunch and the cafe was smaller than I was expecting but it was cozy and I enjoyed the decor. There's a full bar in the middle of booths and tables. We were seated right away and greeted by a friendly server and asked for some water to drink. By the time we got our waters we realized that we should have asked for no ice because we were freezing. It's definitely hot in the middle of July in South Carolina but my boyfriend and I were uncomfortably cold for the entire meal. The menu has a wide variety of gluten free and vegan items and they serve breakfast all day! We placed our orders and it took a little bit (which just felt like forever because we were so cold) and my first thought about the Closer To Fine "Vegan Veggie Wrap" was that it tasted interesting. The quinoa had an overpowering flavor over the grilled vegan chicken which I wasn't too happy about at first but I started to enjoy the combination when I was tasting more of the vegan chicken and other ingredients in the wrap. I've also never had quinoa inside of a wrap before so my brain probably just didn't know what to think. The vegan chicken and the house-made Tahini sauce were very good and the wrap would have been perfect with just a little less quinoa and a little more of the chicken in my opinion. The chips were OK and I'm not sure what the seasoning was but it was an interesting taste and some of the chips were overly seasoned and some barely had any seasoning.I was satisfied with my meal and experience overall and would like to return to try some of the other items on the menu. I've been meaning to stop in here since it opened up about six weeks ago and we were out riding our bikes and pull them and everyone was just so nice especially Kim! She helped us dive through the menu and We all had a great breakfast! I can't recommend this place highly enough! More...
Food was great and was the service. I had French toast, bacon and grits. First time visiting this restaurant. Ill be back.
We have given this place three tries. First time was on a weekend with no waiting and we were turned away rather rudely from the hostess stand that they could not get us a to go order. We asked if they were seating outside and again the answer was not very pleasant. Second time I went back with my daughter on a weekday. We had okay service because it was slow but he didn’t seem to know much about what came with the kids meals. We had to ask for everything twice. Saving grace -he offered me a to go coffee which was welcome from the $2.49 bottomless cup price because I never received a refill without asking. No “Do you need a warm up Hun!” going on here. The coffee was awesome, hot and came in a large beige fair trade cup. Made me a believer. I’ve been thinking about the coffee for days. Decided to pop in for a third try and get the awesome large cup of coffee at the $2.49 price, mind you more than Starbucks with no refill and right next door. I was offered a small cup and I explained I had my mind on a larger cup. She said they didn’t have those and I explained I just got one last week. She went to look and came back saying they did not. No mention of hey this is a really small cup of coffee let me see if I can get you a discount on the “bottomless cup price”. She handed it out to me and I told her I didn’t want it and walked out. The lack of training and kindness from the staff really brings this place down. It would have been nice if the three times I went in it looked like someone was in charge and was presenting a pleasant face of the business. Beyond that the food was sub par and the biscuits are very small and not fantastic to have the restaurant named after them. I have never left a review for a restaurant before. I guess if this is a franchise they have a chance. I hope they listen to reviews and work on the overall atmosphere and service. More...

Food was amazing!!! We ate brunch. I had the piedmont omelet and my fiancé had the Hollywood omelet. The omelets, grits, and biscuits were so good! The bartender, Kim was so friendly and attentive! The decor was super cute and very clean! Definitely coming back often! They have outdoor seating and corn hole! Bringing our pup to brunch next time! More...
It was a mother-daughter kinda Saturday easy morning. We wanted a new place to try and decided the Flying Biscuit was the place (hence daughter tried it multiple times in GA). It was larger than we thought and very accommodating for the two of us at 10am - it looked like it would be tight for a party of six, though... Our server was great - the atmosphere was energetic, the coffee was awesome, but... the food was not Hot. Don't get me wrong! They weren't cold - they just weren't hot off the stove. I had the small shrimp and grits (apparently, there's a large one) and she had the chicken and waffles (however she said that the waffles had a great taste without adding syrup or butter!).Nevertheless, we will go back because every place has an off day! Made a quick stop without looking at the menu or reviews just hungry for a biscuit before my flight home. The manager greeted me right away and directed me to the bar so I could order some to go. The bartender was very helpful and friendly as I just wanted a biscuit with pimento cheese which was not on the menu but she made it happen. Only waited less then 10 mins. The biscuit was warm, tender, and flaky perfect to go with the pimiento cheese. Definitely worth another visit next time I'm in the area! More...

Love this place!!! I come here weekly for breakfast and you can't beat the grits. Definitely the best in Charleston!! They also serve mimosas. Double whammy!
Flying Biscuit is a staple in Charlotte. Great place to eat and you just need to be prepared for the wait. However, it is always worth it.
DO NOT EAT HERE at Stonecrest Location!! The general manager Ms. Tonia seems to think it is okay for her staff to handle your food with their BARE HANDS AND NO GLOVES!! Her excuse was he's the cook and his hands are clean!! UNACCEPTABLE!! #BareHandsCanPassGerms More...
Great service! Fantastic food!
I called ahead, ordered with ease and popped in to pick up my order without any issues! The food still had a nice presentation even though it was "to go." There appeared to be a variety of seating options for smaller groups of 4 or less as well as a bar option for solo diners. The was spot on in the seasoning department and not over spiced, but just right. They have appropriately named their grits- Creamy Dreamy Grits! I personally could use a touch more cook on the biscuits for a golden bake but they were still nice and fluffy and paired with the excellent sausage gravy... FULL of delicious sausage! Will return! Probably... tomorrow! More...

Really looked forward to eating here but waited over an hour for a biscuit with gravy and a scrambled egg and left without getting our food. Disappointed for sure.

We go to the Flying Biscuit on Rea Rd quite often. We choose this location for convenience, but one reason we keep coming back is our favorite server, Amanda! Can’t wait for outdoor seating. But try now. The food is great and the staff is friendly. Lots of choices.
Since I remember Flying Biscuit Cafe because of their Atlanta locations, I just had to be one of the first to welcome them to Mount Pleasant! And just like the Atlanta locations, the food was so good. They have a few unique menu items for this location, like Chicken and Waffles...definitely trying this out on my next visit. This time, I kept it kinda light with the Night Moves (Smoked Salmon Scramble). Yum. The flavors were awesome! And yes, the grits are creamy and dreamy. And of course, the biscuit is top notch!I also quenched my thirst with a mimosa flight because why not? The service was great as well. Brian at the bar took great care of us! More...

Dreams really do come true-This is my favorite breakfast spot now in my hometown ❤️ now I can share my excitement of this place with family and friends without traveling miles away
We have been regulars at the Flying Biscuit on Rea Rd for over 6 years. The food is always good, menu caters to vegetarians as well. But the factor that always makes us choose this Flying Biscuit is Amanda. She is an awesome server, she knows the menu inside out and is able to describe and explain every dish. She makes great recommendations and is very attentive even when she is extremely busy. Amanda is very personable, very polite, very efficient and we wish every restaurant we go to has Amanda on staff making sure that every visit is a pleasant experience. More...

First time here for brunch this past weekend. The honey creme anglaise that came with the French toast was to die for, but the coffee could use some work, QT gas stations have better than whatever bulk food service brand they're using.
If you in atl come here foods delicious
I felt that the Flying Biscuit Cafe was a great place to eat. The food was very good. I’ve had sausage sausage and turkey sausage. This was my first time eating chicken sausage. Best place to have breakfast period!
Hands down best breakfast spot! They were super busy, as to be expected, so I got our food to go and WOW! Fantastic chicken Sausage and chicken sausage gravy… Had green beans with my breakfast instead of potatoes or grits! LOL they were scrumptious!
The biscuits are heavier/denser than I prefer, but still very good. I also had the "moon-dusted" potatoes (just hashbrowns with spice) and the Cajun Chicken Scramble (which was VERY VERY good!). The music was too loud (at a table of six people it was hard to hear people at the other end of the table). More...

Omg! The food is awesome! You can't go wrong with the grits! We ate there twice!
This place is my go to brunch spot and it never disappoints. There is almost always a line but they work fast to get you seated and make sure you do not have wait a while. The longest I have waited would probably be 30 minutes, which is not terrible. The people are great, the service can be slow but with the amount of demand they have it’s understandable. The food is great, I haven’t had a meal that I didn’t like. It is all based around Southern Food, and offers a different dining experience then I have been to for brunch. Also, it is pretty cool to be able to have pasta for breakfast and not be judged . If you are on the fence about going, go! More...

They have something for everyone! I especially like their chicken sausage, and of course their signature biscuits.
A great place either to be SOCIAL or to be ZEN (I usually go there to get my ZEN)!
I was pleased with my choice...southern Style Benedict. The only thing that lost one star was that the biscuits seemed really dry. We did go at what appeared to be an off/slow time, so I just figured if they were busy and the biscuits were baked fresh, it would be much better. We will be back. Staff were very hospitable! More...
DELICIOUS and quick service. Loved the food! Had the chicken sausage, eggs, bacon and biscuit (all al a cart) and was SO surprised how well priced it was for the quality of food.

I called in early morning today for Father's Day to request a table for 15. I was told it was going to be a long wait but we were totally OK with it and came in. The moment we sat down we were greeted by Kim and she was absolutely amazing. Make sure to tell us about all the specials that were going on. I tried the flatbread she recommended and it was phenomenal. She made sure to keep her copies it refilled and mimosas coming. She offered to take a group picture for our table which meant the world to us. This is the kind of person you which would serve on you anywhere you go out to eat. Absolutely great experience for a special day!!! More...

Flying Biscuit catered an incredibly delicious breakfast buffet for my recent wedding! Jess was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, and was very attentive to our choices, and was very patient with last minute add-ons. She handled everything necessary in order for us to not only have a traditional beer and wine bar, but also mimosas as well. I felt at ease through the entire process, because I knew Jess had everything handled. They were on time for set up, and everything looked, and tasted wonderful. The staff were so kind and helpful with set up and tear down, and everything was perfect and seamless. They truly went above and beyond our expectations! I have frequented Flying Biscuit many times before our wedding, and loved it to begin with, but our catering experience has taken my opinion of this wonderful place above and beyond where it already was! Thank you Jess, and team for a wonderful and memorable wedding dinner! More...
