Flowers on Broad street was the perfect florist for our event! We got married on May 31st, 2019 at The Highgrove Estate. Donna was who we met with and spoke with throughout the planning process, and she is just a delight!! She is the kind of woman I want to be friends with. We changed the contract about 6 times due to pricing changing, and she was so accommodating, and never acted like I was inconveniencing her. On the day of, she decorated in the most incredible way!! She used that decorations that we had, and mixed them in with her florals without having to involve me. She popped into the bridal suite and gave us our bouquets and the sweetest welcome gift, and then worked her magic! Walking around the venue before the ceremony felt like a dream! Our flowers were incredibly beautiful, but I was more blown away with their little extra special touches. They gave us embroidered handkerchiefs for our flowers, a beautiful card, and even a candle. First time customer here. Had flowers sent to my fiancé at her job, the arrangement was beautifully done and she was definitely surprised! ! Only bad thing, if you can call it bad, she doesn’t like roses and there were roses in the arrangement. I told them specifically she hated roses. This florist is outstanding. I recently ordered Rose's for a dear friend for her birthday. Absolutely stunning work! I called and spoke to a lady in regards to an arrangement I needed for a funeral . I expressed to her I had never done this before and the funeral was for my bosses daughter. Flowers on Broad did all of the floral arrangements, bouquets, and bouts for my daughter's wedding a few weeks ago....I wish I could find words to tell everyone how extraordinarily pleased we are! Wow, I don't even know how to begin describing how wonderful and perfect Flowers on Broad Street was. I was a long-distance bride, planning my wedding from Utah, but that never felt like an issue with Flowers on Broad Street. From our very first FaceTime meeting with Donna, I knew that I had chosen the right florist. She was extremely professional and friendly and seemed to understand exactly what we wanted out of our wedding flowers. The whole team was well organized with their invoices, lists, and inspiration pictures to help ensure that everyone was on the same page. When the day finally came, I was blown away at how Donna and her team were able to so flawlessly actualize my Pinterest wedding dreams. Everything from the succulent corsages to the wildflower-esque bouquets was perfection. When Donna showed me my bouquet for the first time, I actually cried. We had worked over the specifics of the flowers, textures, and colors I wanted beforehand, but she even added her own unexpected flair. Without my asking, she had included Edelweiss flowers because she said that, "I just seemed like the perfect bride for Edelweiss." Well she couldn't have been more spot-on. I then shared with her that my now-husband and I were planning on moving back to North Carolina after spending two wonderful years in Utah together where we lived in an A-frame in the mountains on a street named Edelweiss Lane. I used to sing the song "Edelweiss" whenever I drove to our home -- a song from my favorite girlhood movie, "The Sound of Music." So when Donna showed me my gorgeous bouquet for the first time with Edelweiss flowers, I got chills.
