I am a recovering cancer patient and Fitness 19 was my go to gym before I was diagnosed. I had signed up with a personal physical trainer paid in full and at that time and able to use it. I had 16 months of chemotherapy.I called Virginia to see if I could still use my training sessions even though my trainer no longer worked there.... I was skeptical that they would honor it but to my surprise they heartwarmingly did! I told them about my physical journey and they placed me with a trainer named Sarah she appeared young and again my skepticism kicked in. God bless her little self not only is she knowledgeable about my body and spirit she has the patience of a saint. Overweight with chronic pain's and due to the chemo therapy I have a very hard time walking and sometimes I'm forced to use a walker. In just under two weeks with Sarah's help my walking is definitely better. She's helping me improve my quality of life I'm glad to have her at my side for this journey. It's a great gym, it's small and can get crowded at times, however every gym in the area has the same equipment and either an helps or is far more crowded. If you don't know what you're doing you may not like this gym without their trainers help, as your expected to know how things work without a class or instruction. I have been a member with Fitness 19 for approximately 10 years. There are plenty of reasons why I continue to patronize this establishment. Firstly, the access to cleanly machines is a priority of Jeremy. Additionally, Ben truly shows an interest in my health and fitness when we go over workouts. Great neighborhood gym, good equipment and knowledgeable trainers. I worked on reaching my fitness goals and enjoy coming to this gym. Kids room is a good bonus too.

Love this gym! I work out there with my daughter time to time and I have to say it is the cleanest gym I've ever been to! Friendly staff, lots of useful machines, and open feeling with all the windows!

Fitness 19 is more than just a gym filled with equipment. The staff there make you feel welcome and that they care about your success. They ALL always greet you by name, and give an encouraging word. I trained for 2 months with Sebastian Spinazzola, and lost 16 pounds and completely changed my appearance. But it's more than that...Sebastian contacted me each day before my workout to make sure I was hydrated and ready to go. He reached out after my workouts to see how I was doing. After my sessions ended, he reached out AGAIN to make sure I was still pursuing my fitness goals. I'm not a regular gym rat, but everyone at Fitness 19 makes me feel like they believe in me, and are committed to my success as much as I am. Thanks Sebastian and Fitness 19!!! More...

I urge you to disregard all negative reviews!! I have been a member of Fitness 19 Ballard since December 2017. From the first time I stepped in I was welcomed and shown around and all my questions were answered in detail. I was overweight, intimated by all the machines. I invested in personal training, worked with 3 different trainer's, including the owner Darrell. All of them provided me with knowledge, endless encouragement, technique, form. Fast forward 1 year and 4 months, I still am welcomed everytime I come in, I am confident dropped 10 percent body fat, now 120 lbs and put on more muscle that i thought was possible. If you are going back and forth on deciding to join or investing in personal training I urge you to come here, affordable, friendly and hands down the experience! More...
