I began corresponding with Shunda the owner of First Comes Love Bridal on wedding wire the earlier part of last year. We scheduled our first consultation last June or July and knew that she would be the day of coordinator to help make our wedding day a success. We were right! Shunda is so kind, professional, considerate, calm, knowledgeable and thorough. Although Shunda wasn't local when we hired her we never felt the distance hindered any her contractual obligations to us. The day of our wedding rehearsal Shunda saved the day by facilitating the rehearsal and taking over as the musical coordinator once our DJ left. The day of the wedding Shunda was exceptional! Her and her husband handle setup of all personal decorations we wanted incorporated, made last minute changes, adjustments, received day of deliveries and made sure everyone was on the same page. First Comes Love Bridal was absolutely amazing! Shunda goes above and beyond for your needs and...it's AFFORDABLE! You are able to customize a package for whatever you need (Day-of coordination, Research of Venues, All of the Above etc. .). Our wedding was done on a budget and mostly DIY so in the beginning of my wedding planning I didn't even want to invest in a coordinator. However, after my friends had raved about how great Shunda was coordinating their wedding I decided to go for it and I am so happy I did! My wedding day turned out absolutely beautiful. Hi everyone. I am one of the very blessed ladies that got to have Shunda plan her wedding. Not only did she organize and put together the most important day of my life, but she did it in a month. But you wouldn't know it. It looked as if thousands of dollars and months of planning went into everything that day, when in reality we had a super small budget. And if the time constraint wasn't challenging enough, I was sick the week before the wedding and was stuck in bed so I couldn't help with the final preparations. Shunda is gifted, creative, kind, and very good at what she does. I recommend First Comes Love to everyone. Shunda Collins is an amazing wedding planner. We only had 4 months to prepare and she did an incredible job of pulling everything off. She worked well with me to understand my vision for the day and to supply me with practical wisdom and tips. She was both patient and confident which meant that things would get done but I wouldn't be stressed- it's every brides dream! I can't stress enough how grateful I am for the hard work she put in.
