This is an update to an earlier review of Feng Shui Style:Jennifer is helping me Feng Shui and design my new law office, in downtown San Jose. This is the second office she has designed for me.We went with a Mid-century / Hollywood Glam theme, with lots of black and white photos of classic movie stars. Our furniture is original Mid-century, with the teak reception desk and credenza coming from a mansion in Atherton. We've added a beautiful fountain in the reception area, which calms people down while they're waiting. We have a lot of plants, artwork, statues, even a giant brass gong in the conference room! I love how eclectic our design is, and it totally reflects us. I never realized how important all the details were - like weekly flower arrangements, which add a punch of color, tie everything together, and make the office smell great.----------Original Review---------------I hired Jennifer to help me Feng Shui and design my Victorian office back in 2013. She started with some immediate Feng Shui fixes, to get things rolling, such as adding 2 fountains (one for my wealth, and one for my career), In the first 2 weeks, the following things occurred: I received checks from clients in the following amounts: 1) $5000 2) $4000 3) $2000 4) $14,000 and 5) $10,000. Prior to this, my clients had not been paying me what they owed, and I was really getting into a bad situation. For the interior design aspect, we went with bold colors, which are entirely appropriate in a Victorian. Jennifer chose each one for Feng Shui reasons, and the my entire home feels so balanced and gorgeous! When people come over, they never want to leave. I know it's the Shui.Jennifer is a joy to work with. She has been doing Feng Shui for 20 years, and she has the ability to explain things in layman's terms, such that you feel like part of the process. It's my first time using Feng Shui services and I am really glad it was Jennifer that helped me while I renovated my house. I found Jennifer via Google. I immediately felt connected with her after talking to her and I really like her explanation how Feng Shui is like a science with a set of rules and laws and how a Feng Shui master is like a lawyer trying to argue the best case for their client. Not only is Jennifer is very knowledgeable and keen with Feng Shui, is passionate with her work to help her clients do better, she is also very experienced with interior design. She picked the paint colors and made suggestions of changes that are supposed to be good Feng Shui-wise for every single room and area, including the bathrooms, laundry room, the garage and down to the wall level. If the colors don't work for our taste, she will work tirelessly to find alternative colors that will suit our preference and budget and at the same time still satisfy the Feng Shui rules. She gave me a numbers of referrals from tile shops, paint shops, paint companies to painter. She ensured the floor, carpet, and paint colors go well together in both aspects: interior design and Feng Shui. I took pictures of the materials to send to her and she would quickly get back to let me know if the colors worked or if she had other suggestions. She put together a file in Dropbox for me to view all the suggestions and Feng Shui notes for the entire house that I can view anytime. She keeps updating the file according to the changes we made together. She is prompt and responsive to our questions, needs and goals and we communicated via phone, email, and/or texts. I am sure she has a number of clients to work on, yet Jennifer gave me the attention and help that I felt as if I was the only client she had to work on. She also is very willing to work around your budget to make it work for you. If your budget allows, you should go all out with all the services she can offer. I am really glad how the colors and materials are coming out, how well they go together. I started to see a couple things that are going in better directions at work. After meeting Jennifer, I can say I set out to find a Feng Shui Master but ended up with more than that - she has now become a friend, philosopher and guide! Her knowledge of Feng Shui is simply amazing! She lives and breathes Feng Shui and has helped my family figure out why our current dwelling is not ‘working’ for us. She had practical fixes for specific areas of the house and combined that with her sublime sense for decorating spaces. Her vision for our Feng Shui’d home was beautiful and I knew when she would get done our home was going to be an amazing space! I have hired Jennifer twice now and as far as I'm concerned she is on speed dial! I initially hired Jennifer to get my house "in order". What I didn't realize was just how powerful Feng Shui can be. After Jennifer was finished "shuing" with my place, I never wanted to leave. Unfortunately, my husbands job had relocated us and I immediately called Jennifer to help us find a home. It is so fun and enjoyable to work with Jennifer. Jennifer is a REAL Feng Shui Master and uses compass settings to Feng Shui your home/lot etc. Don't be lead astray by Feng Shui wannabes who use your front door as a reference point. Everyone knows that the compass directions are based on magnetic fields which is energy based. The assessments are a very useful reference that you can always refer to.From a design standpoint she listens and understand what your style is - not trying to make you like what she likes. I had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer. She was very versatile and adapted her style to suit my needs. Feng Shui really works! She did my living room and has taken it to a new level. I met Jennifer through her former assistant. I'm a psychotherapist, and I wanted Jennifer to Feng Shui my office. Although it's very small, she assured me that size is not an issue in Feng Shui! In fact, one of the best offices Jennifer ever did was the smallest - a chiropractor's office in Santa Monica, where she did a Moroccan theme, with hanging lanterns, and tons of color.From what I know and have seen of Jennifer's work, I know that she pays attention to detail, and is very passionate about the themes and the colors. This review is long overdue! Jennifer actually did feng shui for my home about 3 years ago. She was very thorough and make the experience fun. The great part, thankfully, was our home didn't need any structural change or any big change. Good bones, she would say. We were not selling the house or renovation at the time. We were curious and wanted to know how compatible our home is and if there was anything that can be improved. It was reassuring to know the space, direction and and the home itself is a good one for our family.Her suggestions on how to improve things were was more colors and optimizing the space we already have. We hired Jennifer from Feng Shui Style and we started with our master bedroom at her suggestion. My husband and I met in Central America 10 years ago and they masterfully recreated a one of kind room that is reminiscent of the times we spent there together. This was our first time hiring any kind of interior design service and I cannot imagine a more satisfying and wonderful experience. We absolutely hit the jackpot! She worked with us through phone and email and in person to ensure she knew us and our style. She was precise and professional and we felt very respected and listened to. Following a random meeting and my first introduction to Feng shui, I was fascinated with the process and eager to rid my house of negative energy following a tumultuous divorce. With Jen's guidance and insight, she helped me transform my haphazard bedroom into a piece of art, a tranquil place to call my own, free from children and pets and a room I am proud to call my first fully decorated, positive energy-based room in my house. Even the act of moving my bed to face the "right" direction, brought better sleep and a passionate lover like I have not experienced in a very long time.
Thankfully, we weren't done there. I expressed my concerns to Jen about not wanting to be in my home office, even though this is where I need to get a majority of my work done. After sending her pictures of my space and surroundings, she had me rearrange my desk and other items to face the proper direction and organize my space and clutter. There was immediate relief and now I actually enjoy working in my office.
I'm so grateful for the small changes already made in my home I am trying to make my own for me and my three boys. Jennifer of FengShuiStyle was instrumental in selling our house. We had been on the market going on 28 days with a lot of foot traffic, but no offers. Everyone was quite surprised our house did not attract multiple offers, trigger a bidding war and sell immediately. I thought I had a pretty solid understanding of feng shui and had staged the house beautifully, but something just wasn't quite right. I googled feng shui and home staging, to find Jennifer. She was incredibly helpful. We did an energy cleanse on the house to rid any stagnant, negative energy. We then feng shui'd the entry which happen to fall in our "helpful people and career" centers of the bagua to make prospective buyers feel welcome, and also to stir the helpful and influential people to help us along in our journey. Hired Jennifer & Cindy a couple of months ago based on the glowing reviews placed here with Yelp, and I was not disappointed. They practice the 'compass school ' style of Feng Shui of which I was already familiar with but with so many conflicting  ideas out there regarding missing sectors and color/element cures for certain areas, I was a little confused and in need of some clarification..With a copy of our floor plan  Jennifer was able to make assesements, suggestions and advice there & then, which was later fully documented.Detailed reports were also given of each family member based on individual  date of birth and useful info on how to pump up certain areas amongst a wealth of other interesting facts. Jennifer is awesome! She merges Feng Shui and Interior Design so the spaces she transform can be both purposeful and aesthetically pleasing. She fengshuied our condo and we immediately see the result. I quitted my old job and found a new job within a month. In fact, I got 3 awesome opportunities knocked on my door after the 2nd week I painted the walls in my  laundry room, redecorated my bathrooms and made my helpful people collage. I would highly recommend Jennifer as a Feng Shui consultant. It takes a huge amount of trust and respect to allow someone to come into your home or office and tell you where you can improve.  Jennifer  exceeded all of my expectations! She has the expertise and training to get the job done, and really make some huge changes in your life!I hired her to update my office. It's an old office with a very small space which I was worried about making perfect... no room for error!
