I had the Badda Bing. It sounds weird, a crepe filled with chili, hoisin sauce and cilantro, but it was really good. Spicy, but i couldn't stop eating! I cant wait to try their other offerings. More...

Love seeing some variety in the food trucks over here at UC Davis!Ordered a egg potato pot pie with lemon olive oil. I was skeptical about the lemon oil at first, but it was actually ok. When the woman handed me my pie, I was surprised by how small it was given the $8 price, but it ended up being very filling and I'm glad it wasn't bigger. There was a longer wait for the crepes since they're made to order so I decided to skip the chocolate crepe for now, but I'll definitely be going back for that next time! Had the Shakin Bacon Crepe and it was without a doubt the best thing I have ever had at a food truck. It’s obvious they take great pride in their food. Can’t wait to try them again.

Rumor has it this fanciful food truck is making some very innovative pies and crepes. There she sits all glowing from the inside out ,on this cold winters night, beckoning me. It's sitting at Sudwerk in Davis tonight. The song "Sugar, Butter" from the musical Waitress is humming in my head as I spot the lady chefs inside. I order The Shrooms pie. The crust is so delicious! Inside, potatoes, mushrooms, and herbs. It's so good! My heart and hands are warm as I sit under the heater with my party of 4.We order the cilantro pesto and chicken pie. Oh my goodness what is this witchery?!!! It's magic! It kinda has a curry taste. I've never had a savory pie like this. I'm offered bites of the pizza crepe which is the best crepe I've ever had! The crepe itself has a Parmesan flavor. It's crispy with homemade sauce, pepperoni and sausage. An absolute winner. I would like to say that someone (hubby) offered me a bite of the cinnamon roll crepe. That did not happen. Instead he ooooed and aaaahed his way thru it declaring it amazing! Lastly I must confess I have a new crush. Yes, I'm in love!!! Its the Citrus Lavender pie. I may have to stalk my new heartthrob (follows locations). I just found my favorite food truck! More...

Hand pies (both savory and sweet) & handheld crepes, that's what they do, easy to eat and what a treat! There are several choices for each. 4 of us visited Sudwerk Brewery in Davis where this amazing food truck was for the evening. I got the savory pesto pie, but first, the crust! OMG! Flakey, buttery,& rich! Oh so heavenly. The filling had a cilantro pesto, winter squash, onion, chicken, herbs & spices, so perfectly seasoned. Next I had the sweet pie. It was lemon citrus lavender, with a tart lemon slice & lavender flowers on top, lemon filling inside, perfect balance of flavor, and that heavenly crust again! others in our group got the pizza crepe, cinnamon roll crepe, and traditional chicken pot pie, everyone said theirs was delicious. I'd say each pie or crepe would serve one and fill your tummy nicely.  Will seek them out again, they're worth it! More...

Food Truck Fridays at work recently featured Farmland Street. Their first time visiting our site, ~200 people sharing similar lunch break hours meant we ended up with a 45-60 minute wait for crepes (practically the entire allotted lunch hour). Pot pies were ready to go but smaller. Only 2 people staffing the truck, one taking orders and the other making orders (2 crepe skillets). Props to both ladies though for all the hard work. Hopefully if they do return it will flow better. I personally ordered the Creole Hash Pot Pie (andouille sausage, chicken, potatoes, onion, garlic, creole seasoning) and the NuFrita Crepe (chocolate, almond, hazelnut spread, bananas). Would have been better if the pot pie was given out first since it was already ready to serve, which would have also tided me over while waiting for the crepe. The guy who ordered the BBQ Burger Pot Pie was after my order and by then it was sold out to people who didn't want to wait for crepes. Oops. The pot pie was piping hot, hand held size, bigger than an empanada but a cute little pie mold. Flaky crust, wasn't too spicy for creole seasoning but not as filling as a crepe. The crepes were served in a paper cone, kind of Japanese style to bite rather than flat on a plate for cutting. The savory crepes looked good but I gave into my sweet tooth. The NuFrita crepe was rich, yummy, and plenty filling. I did finish it all! If strawberries were in season than that would have made it even more perfect! Next time I will stick to the crepes. Their menu items/ingredients change seasonally so that will be interesting to see. Prices were generally good for the portions. More...

I tried this food truck today and am glad I did.  I got the heirloom tomatoes, feta and basil in a pie and it was very tasty.  The crust was delicious and the inside was seasoned perfectly.  I wish it were just a bit bigger in size, but it was very big in flavor.  I'll def try them again. More...
