Laurie was AMAZING. We were originally going to go with a commercial online company because of price, but we decided to check her out and she did not disappoint! We had a couple of things we wanted to incorporate into our wedding invites (especially since we were having two weddings) and she used her creative genius to create a totally original invite. It’s absolutely gorgeous and everyone lovesssss it. On top of that, her prices are very reasonable for the gorgeous work that she does. I initially knew about Fanciful Ink and Laurie at the March 2018 Bridal Show at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Their various display of invitation samples attracted my attention. Then I went to a site visit with Laurie at Fanciful Ink studio. She shared in details about her expertise in invitation designs, and I visually reviewed the displayed samples and really loved the feeling and patterns.From then, we decided to work with Laurie on our wedding invitation. Not mentioning her responsiveness and kind assistance whenever I asked questions, Laurie showed her unique insights and recommendations about material, envelop and, more beautifully, her calligraphy. Just thinking about the Nashville skyline background with very beautiful calligraphy of our vows and names can make us joyful every time. More gratefully, she even accepted our proposal of creating a copy of electronic versions of Chinese characters!! (Yes, Mandarin!) We really appreciated!!!We highly recommend Fanciful Ink from quality, customer experience, and value stand points. It is said you get what you paid for. Laurie is absolutely a miracle worker. We definitely weren't the easiest clients as we asked her to paint/draw the church we are getting married in from scratch. We also had her design our menus, programs, and placecards. Not to mention that she did double the work as she did it in TWO languages. She was so patient and so kind throughout the whole process. I was originally going to do invitations from an online store, but we had some customization that we wanted to make and the online templates aren't flexible. I found Laurie at Fanciful Ink and she was able to provide exactly what I needed! It was great to have the customized invitations because we could make all the little changes we wanted. I also sent Laurie the Pinterest Board from my florist and she used some of the florals on the invitations which I thought was such a cool idea! Oh, and did I mention she hand draws all of the florals on the invites? I contacted her really close to the cut-off for getting the invites done, but she was quick to design and send me proofs. She was also very patient with all our small changes. When it was all said and done, the custom invitations were comparable in price to the big online retailers. I highly recommend this service. We saw Laurie's work at a bridal show and we were very impressed. We decided to use her service and we were so glad that we did! She created a higher quality invitation that was unique to our wedding at a price very close to what we budgeted for boring mass production invitations. Honestly, the invitations were so gorgeous that I was concerned that the real price would be higher than I was first quoted but it was exactly the same as the price we initially discussed.
