Went in for a class being taught by an outside instructor. Staff still treated us like members. Clean facility. Spacious locker rooms. Spin classes, squash courts.

As a member of this club for years now, I appreciate the way the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I enjoy the Yoga class with Kamini who offers a class on Monday ! Clean gym with minimal wear and tear on equipment. Steam room and sauna in the locker rooms along with free towel service are great amenities. Never crowded in mornings or during the lunch hour. Can't speak for evenings but the place is big enough to accommodate a lot of people. Sign up fee was a little steep but the "Prove It" membership offers a fair price for what you get (currently $26/month - May 2016). I work right down the road and would certainly recommend Fairmount to anyone looking to get a workout in before, during, or after work. More...
