I am a busy person. I have a full-time job that requires I work overtime at a moments notice and I have a now 9 month old baby. Add running a household and daily obligations. I'm busy. My husband and I had been wanting to plan a destination wedding, but due to our crazy schedules and raising a baby plus two children's (from a previous marriage) sporting and school events, we didn't get very far- but we knew where we wanted to have it- Lake George, NY. I joined this website and I found Letizia!!!!
Let me tell you, she is amazing. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere. First phone call, she was spirited and energetic, she was able to bounce ideas back and forth with us, had a list of potential vendors lined up for us and was really excited to work with us. After the phone call, we felt relieved and excited. In five months we planned a "tea party" style wedding for 70 guests.
First, let me explain that I have high expectations and a low tolerance for mistakes, especially when it comes to someone's job. Budget was also extremely important, especially for working families and I was not willing to go over budget- I'd rather do without. But in our case, we didn't have to do without. Our wish list was completely fulfilled AND under budget!
For our wedding wish list, we wanted a casual event that made everyone feel at ease, a brunch style menu, a brunch style open bar, actual "tea sets", lace, huge yard games in lieu of dancing, full bar of desserts and donuts, extremely kid friendly- and most importantly we wanted the time frame to be early afternoon (I wanted to put my own baby to bed without worry!) We hired Letizia to be fully involved. She was responsible for everything above- "just tell me when and where to show up, let me pick the cake flavors" and I'm all set. She had her hands full!
Letizia did not disappoint. She chose the best vendors. Note that I said BEST. Sometimes they weren't the cheapest, but when it came to quality, they were the best and she communicated the cost difference and what she determined the route we take. She was honest every step of the way. She was extremely organized. She brought unique ideas to the table to make the event extra special. If there was a hiccup or if a vendor wasn't working out, she had three different avenues to get us out of it and didn't make us worry or feel stressed.
She was easily accessible for communication, either by text, phone call or email and even set up a pinterest board that we could add ideas or take away from if we chose to. Letizia accomplished everything seemingly with ease- if I became worried about something or we had a question, it was always "not to worry" and within an hour there was a solution.
I did have a list of tasks to do, things that are impossible for your wedding planner to know or do unless they're family. She gave me time frames for all of them and even when i ran late on a task, she politely reminded me and it was done.
Our end result was nothing but perfection. The room was immaculate- from the fine china to the lace overlays, from the amazing center pieces on the guest tables to the amazing decor on the food/ drink tables- it was all breathtaking. The church was beautiful and we even had enough in our budget for a violin/ cello duo. I was completely blown away!
Letizia made our wish list come true, and within budget. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed. She will have your back every step of the way and genuinely is a good, caring and selfless person. She will make it an event to remember. My store, The Creative Chameleon, was a vendor at Kid's Expo, the first major event put on by Events To a T and it was a fantastic event! I was selling unpainted magnets, either to paint there or as a kit to take home. I averaged a magnet sold every three minutes!
